Item description: This is a paper Taoist book. On the dark brown paper cover, there are three words inscribed in Lishu: "Shangqing Jing." When you open the book, you can see that the pages of brown hemp paper are neatly transcribed Taoist scriptures, and when you turn to the last few pages, you will read "refining the gods" and "turning the void". Curiously, compared to the neat font of the previous chapters, the last two chapters are written in a messy manner, as if they were copied in a hurry. Another peculiarity of this Taoist book is that it is made entirely of hemp paper and bound with small hemp rope. At that time, books were mainly divided by materials, mainly bamboo scrolls, wooden scrolls, and a small number of silk books, and it was rare to see such a complete paper book.
