As he said: "There are five immortals in Zhou Tian: heaven, earth, gods, people, and ghosts, and there are five insects: nai, scales, hair, feathers, and kun; this is not heaven, earth, gods, people, and ghosts; it is not a beetle, a scale, a hair, a feather, and a kun, and there are four monkeys in the world, which are not included in the ten categories." ”

The Bodhisattva said, "Dare to ask if it's the four monkeys?"

Rulai said: "The first is the Lingming stone monkey, through change, knowing the sky, knowing the location, moving the stars and changing the fight; the second is the Chijiri horse monkey, knowing the yin and yang, knowing personnel, good at entering and exiting, avoiding death and prolonging life; the third is the gibbon monkey, taking the sun and the moon, shrinking a thousand mountains, distinguishing the blame, and the Qiankun Friction; the fourth is the six-eared macaque, good at listening to sounds, able to perceive, knowing before and after, everything is clear." These four monkeys do not belong to the ten categories, and they do not reach the name of two.

"I see the 'false Wukong' as a six-eared macaque. If this monkey stands in one place, he can know things thousands of miles away, and when a mortal speaks, he can also know it; therefore, he is good at listening to sounds, can perceive reason, knows before and after, everything is clear, and he who is the same as the true Wukong, the six-eared macaque is also the same. ”
