Peach Blossom Song

Dynasty: Ming Dynasty

Author: Tang Yin

Original:

Peach blossom nunnery in Peach Blossom Dock, peach blossom fairy under Peach Blossom Nunnery.

The peach blossom fairy planted peach trees and folded flower branches as wine money.

When you wake up, you only sit in front of the flowers, and when you are drunk, you have to sleep with the flowers.

Day after day after flower, drunkenness and sobering year after year.

I don't want to bow in front of the carriage and horses, but I hope that the old man will die in the wine room.

The dust of the car and the horse are full of the noble, and the wine cup and the flower branch are poor.

If you compare the rich with the poor, one on the flat earth and the other in the sky.

If the poor are compared to chariots and horses, he has to drive me to be idle.

The world laughs at me for being crazy, and I laugh at the world for not being able to see through it.

I remember the tomb of Wuling Haojie, no wine and no flowers.

Appreciation:

The whole poem is gorgeous and elegant, the style is elegant and handsome, and the rhythm echoes the wind and dances in the snow, with mellow and far-reaching meaning. Although the eyes are full of fragrant words such as flowers, peaches, wine, and drunkenness, there is no vulgarity, but the pen force penetrates through the back of the paper, which makes people wake up suddenly. This is where Tang Yin's poetry and painting are powerful, and this poem is also Tang Yin's masterpiece.

The poem depicts two pictures, one is the life scene of the Han Dynasty's officials and wealthy people, and the other is the life scene of Tang Yin himself in the Ming Dynasty. Only a dozen words such as "bow to the front of the carriage and horse", "the dust of the carriage and the horse", and "Lulu" were used to vividly outline the life scenes of the Ming Dynasty officials and wealthy people. Tang Yin's own life scenes are described in more detail, "planting peach trees", "picking peach blossoms for wine money", "only sitting in front of flowers when you wake up, and you come to sleep with flowers when you are drunk", "half drunk and half awake day after day", "I hope that the old man dies in the wine room, and I don't want to bow in front of the carriage and horse", "The hermit of the wine cup and the flower branch". The superiority and inferiority of the two pictures is up to the reader to experience and evaluate for himself.

"Peach blossom nunnery in Peach Blossom Dock, peach blossom fairy under peach blossom nunnery. The peach blossom fairy planted peach trees and picked peach blossoms for wine money. The first four lines are like a long "pushing" shot, from far to near, abruptly presenting a fairy in a painting in front of the reader. In just four lines, six "peach blossoms" are repeated, looping and repeating, hooking back and forth, thick and colorful, quickly piling up a world of flowers, making people fall into the situation set by it at once. The unhurried tone and speed of speech increase the reader's sense of intimacy and curiosity: What kind of fairy life does this peach blossom fairy live? The next four lines unfold a beautiful picture of "drunk lying among the flowers": "When you wake up, you only sit in front of the flowers, and when you are drunk, you come to sleep with the flowers." Half-awake and half-drunk, day after day, flowers fall and bloom year after year. "Look at how carefree and happy this peach blossom fairy is, drunk and appreciating the flowers year after year, day after day. Here, flowers and wine are no longer completely foreign objects that the poet rebukes, but are simply a part of the poet's life, or in other words, they have become independent life individuals, and flowers, wine and people are integrated into a harmonious whole. The above sentences can be described as the author's own situation, and the imagery is vivid, vivid and profound. The student Tang Yin, who once fantasized about "Chao for Tian Shelang, Twilight on Tianzi Hall", is gone, the merry genius who is drunk and dreaming of death in Fireworks Willow Lane is gone, the pain is also painful, and the joy is also happy, after a few years of profligate life, Tang Yin finally chose to escape from the downtown area, chose this paradise for himself, and married Shen, and began a relatively peaceful secluded life. Although there is no way to enter, after all, he has a trust, and he is in his prime, and he is beautiful and thoughtful, and he sings into a poem.

"I hope that the old man will die in the wine room, and he will not bow in front of the carriage and horse. This sentence connects the previous and the next, and expresses the poet's interest: instead of running around for glory and wealth, how can he be happy and leisurely among flowers and wine: "The car dust and horses are full of wealth, and the wine cup and flowers are poor." If you compare the rich with the poor, one on the flat earth and the other in the heavens. "Cars and horses" are just the fun of the rich, and flowers and wine are destined to be associated with the poor. If measured by money and material, these two kinds of people naturally have a world of difference, but from another point of view, those rich and noble people must always tense their nerves and live cautiously on thin ice, while the so-called poor can be a little more leisurely, a little more fun, but live a more natural, real, more relaxed and happy life. The above six lines are all described in contrast, and the feelings unfold in the fierce collision, and in each sentence, because of the relationship between the rhyme, the front is tight and the back is comfortable, which fully shows the poet's proud personality, and the detachment and relief of living life.

Note: "The car dust and horses are full of potential, and the wine cup flower branch hermit fate." If the manifest is compared to a hermit, one on the plain earth and one in the heavens. If the flowers and wine are compared to the carriages and horses, why should they be idle and I will be idle. When composing this poem, Tang Yin had already experienced the disadvantage of being out of office, and had already given up the enterprising meaning of "the dynasty is Tian Shelang, and the twilight is the Tianzi Hall", and he lives in seclusion here.

However, not everyone understands the true meaning of this, and you don't see that "others laugh at me and I am crazy"? "Don't you see what happens to the kings and generals who were once so powerful and wealthy? Not only are they gone, but they are gone, and they can't even hope for flowers and wine, which they disdained during their lifetimes, and they can't even keep their tombs. If they had known it, they would have watched helplessly as the farmer ploughed the land on which he had died. "I don't see the tomb of Wuling heroes, no flowers and no wine hoeing fields!"

Throughout the poem, the layers are clear, the language is shallow, the whirlwind is euphemistic, and it is almost a ballad-style self-talk, but it is such a self-talk, but it contains infinite artistic tension, giving people a continuous aesthetic enjoyment and a strong sense of identity, which is worthy of being the best in Tang Yin's poems. This is also in line with Han Yu's famous assertion that "the voice of peace is weak, but the sound of sorrow is more beautiful; the words of pleasure are difficult to work, but the words of poverty are easy to be good" ("Jingtan Singing and Poem Preface").

Tang Yin was already famous during his lifetime, and in addition to having a prominent position in the history of painting, he also had original achievements in poetry. His poems are true and easy, unconventional, using a large number of colloquial language, and the artistic conception is alert and fresh, which was unique at that time, and with its unique and extraordinary personality and artistic temperament, from one side, it made a typical and vivid interpretation of that free, open, almost absurd, and chaotic era.
