Taoism believes that there are 36 days in the Daluo Heavenly Realm, the Yuan Shi Tianzun resides in the 35 Heavenly Realm, the Lingbao Heavenly Venerable resides in the 34 Heavenly Realm, and the Daode Heavenly Venerable resides in the 33-day Realm.

However, according to the time when these three Heavenly Venerables were formed, it is estimated from a historical point of view.

The formation of the moral Tianzun, that is, the Taishang Laojun, has been widely spread in the late Eastern Han Dynasty;

Lingbao Tianzun is the Taishang Daojun (Tongtian Sect Master), which was formed and spread in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and the two were separated by one or two hundred years.

The Yuan Shi Tianzun was formed in the late Eastern Jin Dynasty and the early Northern and Southern Dynasties.

Therefore, it is said that "the latecomer is on top", and the Taishang Laojun, who appeared first, became the third god in the Sanqing Realm.

Even the formation of the Pangu legend began as early as the middle of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and it was also earlier than the Yuan Shi Tianzun and Lingbao Tianzun.
