"The Pure Land of the Buddha Kingdom is only in the hearts of people, one thought of good, hell becomes heaven, one thought of evil, heaven turns into hell, and the donor can sleep well, which is not exactly what confirms this. β

"In Buddhism, the birth and death of all things are determined by causes, and without causes, there is no universe. The birth and death of nature, society, and individual body and mind in the universe are all born and destroyed by fate. In a word, the Dharma, the phenomena and laws of birth and death in the universe, so it is said that the Dharma is boundless, not that the Buddha's mana is vast, and the vastness of the supernatural power is only one aspect, to put it bluntly, but the insight into birth and death is the combination of cause and effect. Delin's words were completely different from Mo Xian's previous cognition.
This statement is similar to what Mo Xian comprehended in the "Tao Te Ching", but there is still a difference, the Tao is the origin of the universe, it generates the universe, but it is omnipresent, and even in the "Zhuangzi" it is said: The Tao is drowning in.
Buddhism takes cause and effect as the starting point, pays more attention to itself, and distinguishes the Buddha from sentient beings to see whether he can understand and master the principle of arising from fate and extinction to observe and deal with problems. If you can achieve this, you are a Buddha, and vice versa, you are sentient beings.
Therefore, the Dharma is not asking for others, but for itself. Buddhism is the method of the mind, and only the mind can change karma. Buddhism does not seek from the outside, but Buddhism seeks from the heartβfrom the mind, and responds to all requests. Buddhism is called internal learning, and its principle is what the Huayan Sutra says: all dharmas are only manifested by the mind, and only the consciousness is changed.
Buddhism starts from itself and sees the world as illusory, unreal, and everything is nothing more than the flow of karma, thus encompassing everything in the universe.
The Tao is different, its foundation is the Tao, everything is born from the Tao, the Tao is impersonal, the universe is born from the Tao, and the Tao is contained in all things in the universe, so what the Taoists pursue is true with the Tao.
Therefore, the Tao and the Buddha are fundamentally different, but with the confluence of the Tao and the Buddha, Taoism gradually absorbed some views of Buddhism, traced back, from nothingness to vacuum, and Buddhism is also absorbing some ideas of Taoism, among Buddhism, only Hinayana is the most basic, Mahayana has developed Buddhism to some extent.
Tantra is to absorb foreign ways and preach more mantras and mudras, so it is also called Shingon Buddhism and Vajrayana, and many Buddhist sects consider it to be foreign paths.
Mo Xian's Taoist theory can be said to have read a lot of books, and for a period of time in the Tibetan scripture building, he gradually formed his opinion, relatively speaking, the things of Buddhism are obviously insufficient.

"Zen Master, I understand all this in theory, but deep down, I still can't believe it, but this point prevents me, people are obsessed with the body and mind for me, and it is very difficult to think of transcending this view. Mo Xian said.
"Yes, people's hearts are stubborn, they know it's fake, but they want to admit that it's true, Fukuyama, tell me your story?" said Zen Master Delin turning back to a middle-aged monk.
"Yes, master!" said Fukuyama Yoshi.
Fukuyama talked about an incident he had many years ago:
At that time, Fukuyama, who was still a young monk, learned to enter the meditation, but every time he entered the meditation not long after, he felt that a big spider came out to make trouble. There was no way, he had to ask the master for advice.
Fukuyama said, "Master, every time I enter the meditation, a big spider comes out to make trouble, and I can't get rid of it. β
Delin smiled and said: "Then the next time, you will take this pen in your hand, and if the big spider comes out to make trouble again, you will draw a circle on its belly to see which monster it is." β
Delin flipped his hand, and a pen appeared in his hand, shining with Buddha light.
Listening to the words of Zen Master Delin, Fukuyama was overjoyed, snatched the pen, and said that it was strange, as soon as the Buddha light on the pen came to his hand, he immediately retracted.
What's going on?Fukuyama looked at it suspiciously, and Delin smiled: "This is a pen with Buddha power, now its Buddha light is converging, and when it plays a role, the Buddha light will appear." β
When the time came again, the big spider reappeared. Seeing this, Fukuyama was unceremonious, picked up a pen and drew a circle on the spider's belly as a symbol.
He saw the Buddha's light flash, and as soon as he finished drawing, the big spider disappeared. Without the big spider, Fukuyama can settle down and have no more troubles.
After a long time, after the little monk made up his mind, he found that the circle that was originally drawn on the belly of the big spider was around his navel.
At this time, Fukuyama realized that the big spider of the saboteur who entered the time was not from the outside world, but from his own thoughts. And the so-called Buddha pen is just an illusion used by Zen Master Delin, which is itself an ordinary pen, and the Buddha light he sees in the meditation is just an illusion in his heart.
After Fushan finished talking about this, Mo Xian understood, and he was moved in his heart, they can be said to be enlightening themselves at any time for themselves, this is what Buddhist monks look like, people who cultivate Buddhism, benefit sentient beings, and not like some monks, nominally for sentient beings, but do demonic things.
He thanked him again and said, "Zen Master, and Master Fukuyama, in order to save an outsider, you are so attentive, you are really worthy of Buddhism." β
"Don't be polite, don't be polite, you have a curse and a wound, but stay here. β
"I live here, but I can't just eat, and from tomorrow, I will also work, not work for a day, not eat for a day!" Mo said with a smile.
"Your injuries are not healed. Fukuyama said.
"It doesn't matter, my injuries don't matter, if you move around, you can live your blood and your health. Mo Xian said with a smile on his face.
The next day, Mo Xian really turned over the soil in the vegetable field, he seemed to return to the days of chopping firewood in Tiansui Mountain, he was engrossed, as if he was an old farmer, looking at his preoccupied appearance, Delin showed a smile on his face, and nodded secretly, Zen Buddhism pays attention to enlightenment in life, doing things is doing things, the so-called hunger comes to eat, thirst comes to drink water, everything is in full attention.

He was hoeing grass in the ground, and suddenly the hoe suddenly collapsed on the brick, he reached out and took out the brick from the ground, and shook it casually, "pop", the brick hit the bamboo, he was stunned all of a sudden, and his brain banged, like an enlightenment, he realized.
