Chapter Thirty-Nine: The Dust-Sweeping Buddha Recited the King
Fangcun Mountain, Lingtai Sect.
As its name suggests, the mountain seems to be between square inches, square inches of heaven and earth, and it is a domain of its own. In the spiritual platform, there is its own world.
The golden elephant is in the mourning room, which can also be said to be in the mourning platform. The spiritual platform is nothing, only exists in the continuous imagery, which seems to be real and real, like a dream. The spiritual chamber is the embodiment of the practice.
There is no time in the mountains, and spring and autumn are round.
Tsing Yi sat at a quaint wooden table by the window, holding his chin in his hand, next to a gray-black lamp, the flame of which burned quietly. Her sharp chin was white and delicate, and her originally agile eyes looked a little dull at this moment, staring at the night sky outside the window in a daze.
Jin Xiangdi didn't know that in fact, he was in Xiniu Hezhou with Tsing Yi, and Tsing Yi naturally didn't know even more, since she came to this spiritual mountain, she tried her best to leave, but she couldn't at all. Since coming to this spiritual mountain, she has not learned any Taoism at all, what she has to do every day is to clean those grand halls, although there is no dust on the Buddha statue or on the ground, but she still has to do it, in the words of her master's silence, it is not the dust that can be seen by the naked eye, but the dust in the heart.
She has been sweeping for three years, and she has basically not been to the Lingshan Dojo on the Lingshan Mountain in the past three years, although since she came to this Lingshan, she has hoped to be able to go there to listen to the sermon, but she has never had the opportunity to see it at all.
And the mana she practiced from the "Xuantian Gangqi" that she stole from the Xuantian Courtyard has been dispersed at the moment she entered the Spirit Mountain, and now she does not have a trace of mana, when she acts, she will sweat, tired, and hungry, and she can see all the phenomena that will occur in mortal and earthly people.
Tsing Yi looked at the night, looked at the darkness outside the window, and after being silent for a long time, he suddenly slapped the table, and the light on the table shook with a "snap ......", and the whole person's waist was straightened, and then the whole person fell down again, lying on the table softly, and then pointed to the lines of the table, and said very angrily: "Lingshan Lingshan, Lingshan is a cage in the world, where a group of liars who deceive themselves and always want to deceive others live." ”
"You can't fool me, you can't fool me......"
Her voice was distinctly clear in the dimly lit room.
The sky lit up unconsciously, and she looked at the sky, wondering if the sky had also been deceived by the people on this spiritual mountain.
The sun shouldn't shine in such a place, Tsing Yi always thought.
She got up and picked up a broom behind the door in her room to clean the temple.
Legend has it that there are 3,000 Buddhist halls on the Lingshan, symbolizing the 3,000 avenues and also symbolizing that there will be 3,000 Buddhas on the Lingshan. This made Tsing Yi difficult to accept, in her opinion, it was enough to have a big day on this spiritual mountain.
The wind outside is warm and cool, the kind of wind that can only be found in spring. Tsing Yi has been here for so long, and she has not noticed any changes in this wind, so she naturally thinks that the spring breeze has been deceived by Lingshan and lingers here all year round.
This Buddha hall is called the Great Compassion Guanyin Buddha Hall, it is the dojo where Master Tsing Yi is located, she has naturally heard of this Guanyin Master before, until she went up to the Lingshan to know that this Guanyin Master is only a kind of Dharma image, what mortal people see is always the Dharma image, holy and compassionate.
Bypass the many pilgrims who kneel in three steps and bow in nine steps, and enter the Guanyin Buddha Hall. When I bypassed, I looked at the people who fell to the ground and read the "Sutra of Helping the World" in their mouths, and they only said in their hearts that they were too deeply poisoned.
I couldn't help but think of Jin Xiangji again, thinking that if he was there, he would definitely be deceived, and he would definitely forget the past like his senior brother.
Stepping on the sacred steps, which symbolized the ability to overcome all the sins of the world, she was still feeling it carefully. I heard the Buddha in the temple say that as soon as all living beings in the world step on the eighteen steps, they will be punished if they step into the eighteen layers of hell. As long as he walks through without flinching, everything will be in the past, and he will become a pure and quiet person who is qualified to become a Buddha. This is something that Tsing Yi will feel carefully every time he steps on the eighteen-story gray-brown steps.
In addition to this, she was also distressed that she was the son of the Buddha under the throne of Guanyin Bodhisattva, so she could not understand their actions. Just as she couldn't understand that Zhitong had changed from a great ape king who sang and drank "the only one in the world, and this demon body in the world" to the current temple protector ape who meditates every day.
Entering the Buddha hall, even though Tsing Yi has been here for three years, he still feels a grand and righteous breath coming to his face. In front of him is a huge Buddha statue, which looks holy and compassionate, it is the Buddha statue of Guanyin, who is full of great compassion, and there is a person sitting cross-legged under the Buddha statue. If you look closely, you will see that it is not a person, but an ape.
Tsing Yi filled the oil lamp in front of the Buddha with oil, and then began to clean. Even though she couldn't sweep a speck of dust from inside the temple to outside the temple, she still had to do it every day. Because she also wants to learn spells, she wants to be able to listen to the sermons under the Buddha's seat on the top of the spiritual mountain like her own master, and she wants to be able to enter and leave the spiritual mountain freely. The main thing is that she doesn't want to clean the temple like she does ten years later.
Therefore, in the eyes of others, Tsing Yi is an extremely pious and pure Buddha.
Before Tsing Yi was finished, the sound of chanting had already sounded in the Buddha hall, reciting the mantra of great mercy and compassion. Tsing Yi listened to it and felt that the chanting sound was more annoying than the flies lingering in his ears. Of course, she had heard others say that when listening to the Buddhas chanting in the Buddha hall, it was like a clear spring flowing in her heart, and many pilgrims outside the Buddha hall were just trying to listen to the chanting sound coming from the Buddha hall when the sun was about to rise and the sky was about to dawn.
But no matter what she was, she couldn't feel the feeling of a clear spring flowing in her heart. The words spoken in silence are that she is not still.
When she swept the floor and swept to Zhitong's side, she stopped, squatted down, and said to Zhitong: "You are the great ape king who is at ease in the world, you have a junior brother named Huiyan, who has been killed, and a junior brother named Jin Xiangdi, whose life and death are uncertain." ”
Whenever Tsing Yi said this, Zhitong's eyelids would tremble, as if he was about to open them, and burst out with that unruly look again. It's a pity that it hasn't been opened for three years. Fortunately, Zhitong would have reacted when Tsing Yi said that sentence, otherwise, she would have stopped saying it a long time ago.
After cleaning the Buddha hall, Tsing Yi also began to chant the scriptures, and what was recited was not the "Great Compassion Mantra", nor the "Sutra of Helping the World", but the "Pure Heart Ming Wang Mantra". This pure heart Ming Wang mantra is divided into two parts, the first part is the Ming Heart Mantra, and the next part is the Ming King Mantra. According to Tsing Yi's understanding, she is the only Buddha in this Great Compassion Guanyin Buddha Hall who recites this mantra.
And she knew from other Buddhas that only gifted beings would be granted this kind of Ming Wang mantra.
"What is King Ming?" Tsing Yi didn't know at this time, he only knew that King Ming was the protector of the Buddha, and when the Buddha appeared, he would be accompanied by King Ming.
The place where Tsing Yi recites sutras is not a residence, nor a Buddhist hall, but at the foot of Lingshan.
Before she arrived at Lingshan, she only thought that Lingshan was an ethereal immortal mountain, but after arriving, she felt that this was almost a world beyond heaven and earth that was not among the five elements, and it was a world of its own. There is a mortal world, and there are Buddhist halls. It's just that compared to the world outside Lingshan, all the earthly people here have a pious heart to the Buddha.
She recited the "Mantra of the King of the Pure Heart" at the foot of the mountain to find a place with many people to recite it. Her master, Silence, said that when people can listen to your chanting and be able to clear their minds, even if they are getting started, they can start practicing the Lingshan Mystic Method.
Tsing Yi went all the way down the mountain, and on the way, I met a few Buddhas in the unknown Buddha hall who were sitting on the side of the road chanting, surrounded by a group of mortals listening to the scriptures. She went directly to a market at the bottom of the mountain, directly to a clearing place, sat down cross-legged, closed her eyes and recited.
In the past three years, she has changed many places, and this one is the place where she has stayed the longest.
There are still pedestrians on the street, and there are very few who will stop and listen quietly. Even if there is, it will only be listened to for a while and then it will leave. When Tsing Yi opened her eyes, she was still the same as before, no one sat down to listen, let alone ask her for her Dharma name. However, most of them will have a bowl of rice that is still warm.
Before coming to Lingshan, she never ate whole grains, but after coming to Lingshan, she would be hungry every day, and she didn't have anything to eat when she was hungry, and the only time she could fill her stomach was when someone would bring a bowl of rice after chanting.
She ate the food in front of her, and only after eating did she feel a little relieved of her hunger, and it was still a long way to say that she was full. She touched her stomach, looked at the sun shining in the sky, closed her eyes again and recited the "Mantra of the King of Pure Heart".
Only when you are truly calm can you stop feeling hungry. People on the street saw Tsing Yi gulping down the food, and someone came up to take the bowl back. And in their hearts, Tsing Yi is obviously a person with six impure roots, who has been three years and has not yet entered the door of tranquility.
When Tsing Yi opened his eyes again, there was still a bowl of rice in front of him, and there was another person, a girl in purple. The girl crouched on the ground and stared with wide eyes.
Tsing Yi also looked at her, she didn't think that it was because she chanted the sutra well and came to listen to it. Tsing Yi's stomach seemed to be extremely hungry after chanting, so she picked up the food on the ground and ate it, while the purple-clothed girl in front of her looked at Tsing Yi with excitement on her face.
Although she seemed excited, she didn't speak until Tsing Yi finished eating the rice in the bowl.
Silence is not Tsing Yi's style, so when she put the bowl down after eating, she touched her lip and said, "Don't you think I'm weird?"
The girl in purple nodded vigorously.
"What's strange?" asked Tsing Yi.
"Chanting!" replied the girl in purple quickly, her voice fresh.
"Chanting, what's so strange about me chanting?" asked Tsing Yi suspiciously.
The girl in purple immediately said, "It's very strange, it's very strange, you are the strangest person I have ever seen chanting in Lingshan." ”
"What kind of strange method?" Tsing Yi secretly thought that no one had come to listen to the scriptures when he was chanting in the past three years, could it be that he had read it wrongly: "It doesn't make sense, it can't be wrong." ”
"On the Lingshan, even if the chanting sound of ordinary people makes people listen to it, they will have a sense of peace of mind, at least they will not get bored, but listening to your chanting, you can feel that the seven emotions and six desires have turned into rivers and seas. The woman in purple didn't care about Tsing Yi's ugly face, and she didn't stop after speaking, and continued to speak loudly.
