Lao Tzu smiled: "The West is completely different from my Xuanmen Avenue. As the saying goes, the Tao is different, and they don't conspire with each other. The old way is here, and I will pass on another message to ordinary people!"

When the Taoist heard this, he couldn't help but change his face and said, "I don't know what kind of teachings you want to preach?"

Lao Tzu said: "The teaching I want to preach is not heaven, not Taoism, not human, but a "Buddha" word!"

The face of the Taoist changed drastically, and he said, "Absolutely not! I, a cultivator of the Western Sect, can be described as a Buddha when I practice the Three Vehicles and attain the Golden Body Enlightenment. If Taoist friends want to preach Buddhism, where can they put Western teaching? Moreover, those who are in the Western soil are the Western Buddhist land, and Taoist friends belong to the Xuanmen, so how can they preach in the West?"

Lao Tzu was not in a hurry, and said: "Fellow Daoists, since the West is called the land of Buddha, why not spread Buddhism through the old Tao? You know a little bit about Western classics, and you know a little about the old way. I remember that when Taoist friends became sanctified, they said that the Amitabha Sutra once said: "From the West, there are more than 10 trillion Buddha lands, and there is a world name called Bliss. There is a Buddha in its land, called Amitabha. It can be seen from this that the Western Elysium is the place where the Western religion lies. This place is far away from Elysium, I don't know how many thousands of miles, how can it also belong to the Western religion? You must know that my Sanqing Dao, although it is spread to trillions of sentient beings in Kyushu in the eastern soil, I dare not say which one owns Kyushu!"

The person who received the Taoist was too poor to answer, and his face suddenly showed a look of suffering.

Lao Tzu said: "As the saying goes, there is a cause and effect, if it weren't for the fact that the old Tao was forced to have no place to stand, why would the old Tao have to suffer from this labor, and the mortal womb will be dying of old decay and traveling thousands of miles." The person who received the Tao could not argue, so he had to reply: "In Western religion, there has been a Buddha for a long time. Fellow Daoists, this Buddhism cannot be preached. If you preach this teaching, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the 500 Arhats, and the 3,000 Dharma Protectors in my teachings will come and discuss the Dharma with your disciples!"

This is the meaning of threat, Lao Tzu listened. He also replied: "If the old Tao has no teachings to preach, I have to gather all the Taoist friends and go to the blessed land of Lingshan to discuss the merits!"

The usher listened. Secretly said: "The Western Sect already has the great enemy of the Earth Immortal in the Eastern Soil, if even Taiqing is completely offended." The situation is very bad. Besides, when he came this time, he took advantage of the reason first, and he couldn't resist it, so it was better to find another way!" So he said: "Fellow Daoist, there is already a Buddha in the West, but you want to preach Buddhism." It doesn't make sense. It is necessary to know that if everything is disorderly, it will not stand, and it must always be said that it is first come, first come. ”

Lao Tzu said: "Lao Tao doesn't have to compete with you in the West. Now that you have the three vehicles, take a step back and establish Hinayana Buddhism!"

The Taoist was still unwilling, but he lacked words, and in a blink of an eye, he saw the green cow with a blink of an eye, and said: "Fellow Daoist, the argument of the tongue." It's always hard to tell the difference. If you want to establish a religion, you must be wise. It's better to evolve with the poor way to see the truth and falsehood!"

Lao Tzu laughed and said: "Daoist friends are laughing! Poor Dao is a mortal fetus, and he can only say it in his mouth, how can he resist Daoist friends? It is better to call Taiqing to come, it is a feasible plan!"

The Taoist said: "Since the Taoist friend has brought the green ox and the wind and fire futon, how can he say that he can't act the Fa? It's fair for both of us to watch from the sidelines and see which of them is higher or lower!"

Lao Tzu pretended to hesitate, but said: "That's fine!" Then the green cow said: "Whether the old Tao can establish a religion depends on you!"

The Taoist summoned the golden-winged Dapeng bird, and also turned into a man, with a feather coat draped, a bird's head and a human body, and a bowl in his hand.

So the two immortals each held a magic weapon and fought together. They are all ancient demons, one is a demon and a witch who heard the holy way after the catastrophe, and the other is a person who entered the Western Heaven during the period of Emperor Yan, and they are all accompanied by saints.

Fighting to the urgent place, the two immortals have shown their true bodies, only to see a golden-winged Dapeng bird, star-eyed leopard eyes, a golden-winged fan, super easy dust, difficult to distinguish traces;

These two immortals, one is in a hurry, and the other is strict, it is the chess opponent who will meet the good talent. When the fight arrives, the banjiao green ox sacrifices the wind and fire futon to press the golden-winged Dapeng bird, and the golden-winged Dapeng bird also throws the bowl to collect the banjiao green ox.

The two immortals sacrificed the magic weapon at the same time, and they had to divide the superiority into inferior. Seeing that the horned green ox was about to be covered by the bowl, I saw that the green ox suddenly took off the nose ring and sacrificed it on the top of the head to protect the body, and the bowl could not be covered.

The golden-winged roc didn't have a second magic weapon, and he couldn't prevent the wind and fire futon, and he was already overwhelmed to the ground.

Lao Tzu laughed and said to the Taoist leader: "Fellow Daoist, the superior and the inferior have been divided! What else do you have to say!"

The person who received the Taoist didn't expect that the nose ring of the green cow was also a magic weapon, and he suffered a dumb loss, and his heart was bitter. But after all, he is the honor of saints, and he repented of his words, so he said: "This game is a Taoist friendship!"

Lao Tzu smiled and said, "I have conceded!" So he recalled the green cow and received the magic weapon.

The Taoist said, "Fellow Daoist, although the teachings you have established are Hinayana Buddhism, they have violated our three vehicles, so Daoists can only pass on the merits of the Arhats, and cannot be passed on to them. ”

Lao Tzu thought for a while and said: "The purpose of the old Tao to preach is to educate people's hearts, not to fight and kill. Friends of the Tao discuss this, and the old Tao should not go down!"

So he led the Taoist back to the Western Church.

Lao Tzu shouted to the sky: "Duobao, don't come down yet!" Duobao Taoist really appeared in the air, drove the auspicious clouds down, and bowed to Lao Tzu: "Master, the disciple is here!"

Lao Tzu said: "You sit down and listen to my scriptures!" He took the nose ring of the green cow in his hand and said: "Vajra Zhuo, Vajra Zhuo, today's Hu preaching, thanks to you, I simply fulfilled you!" So he sacrificed Vajra Zhuo on the top of his head, sat down cross-legged, and taught a volume of scriptures with Duobao Taoist. After the scriptures were finished, I saw that there were five colors of auspicious light, thousands of rui qi, strange fragrance, and natural merit. It's all in the King Kong Carving.

Duobao Dao people listened to it clearly, remembered it firmly, and were comprehending the essence of it, and suddenly the five qi entered the body, turned into Qingyun, and gathered on the top. Among the three flowers, one flower bears a knot. Turning into a Buddha, holding a multi-treasure pagoda, he saluted and said, "My multi-treasure Buddha is also!"

This is the corpse beheaded by the Duobao Taoist, the leader of Theravada Buddhism. Since then, he has been based in the West. Educate sentient beings with Hinayana teachings. The scriptures passed on by Lao Tzu are called "Hu Sutra" because of the transformation of Hu into Buddha!

Lao Tzu gave up this matter, turned back to the eastern soil, and when he arrived at the Qin realm, he suddenly sighed: "I have retreated." The way of heaven also. "It's a retreat.

He was ninety-nine years old at that time, and if you add the eighty-one years of his mother's body, he would be one hundred and eighty years old.

After walking for half a day, he came to the water and wanted to cross the river, but he looked up and down, and there was no boat. Lao Tzu was watching, and suddenly saw colorful auspicious light falling from the sky, and the clouds and mist were misty. Fairy music murmuring. Above the clouds, the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother are in the center. There are the gods on duty, such as the star official on duty, the fairy fan, the wrestler's halberd, the three official emperors on both sides, the five senses of the emperor, and the five directions to reveal the truth.

It is all gods, majestic and magnificent!

When the ordinary man saw it, he was all moved, and he bowed to the ground!

When Lao Tzu saw this, he immediately stumbled and scolded: "Quasi-Daoist person, not a son of man! After all, Lao Dao was calculated by you!"

I saw that the Jade Emperor stepped forward to salute Lao Tzu, and Lao Tzu hurriedly took the first step and said to the Jade Emperor: "Your Majesty, why do you need to do this!"

You must know that this is in the world, Lao Tzu preached Taoism, and also preached Theravada Buddhism, and the followers are very wide. Ordinary people, when they see the supernatural, they think that they are sacred, where can they distinguish between the divine way, the fairy way, and the holy way. Therefore, since the Jade Emperor is driving in a big row and Xuan He is here, Lao Tzu has to respect the Jade Emperor. Otherwise, the people of the Taoist people will be in chaos.

The Jade Emperor still returned the salute and said with a smile: "Fellow Daoist, you have been preaching in the world for a hundred years, and it is gratifying that you have now achieved great success." Today, I have led the gods to welcome the return of Taoist friends, so as to enjoy the blessings of Qi Tian!"

Lao Tzu asked, "Where did Your Majesty let Lao Dao go?"

The Jade Emperor was not in a hurry, and said: "Fellow Daoist, I am above the Nine Heavens, imitating the Great Red Sky as an example, and I have also built the Tushi Palace. Today, I welcome Taoist friends and go to the Nine Heavens Doushi Palace to enjoy the blessings. ”

Lao Tzu frowned and sighed: "Two thousand years is not a long time, and the twelve Great Luo Golden Immortals will soon come to listen to the dispatch. Why is Your Majesty so anxious?"

The Jade Emperor didn't answer, but said, "But the Taoist friends live for nine days, and they are better than countless immortals!"

Lao Tzu was helpless and said: "Your Majesty, Lao Dao is calculated today, and he has to follow." But there must also be words in advance: the old way to the heavenly court, do not obey, do not listen to the announcement, when the twelve golden immortals gather, you will be free!"

The Jade Emperor didn't agree, and said with great joy: "All rely on Taoist friends!"

So Lao Tzu ascended to immortality in the day and went with the Jade Emperor in full view of everyone.

Although he is one and two, two and one with the Taiqing sage, he is the same person, but he is a mortal womb who has attained the Tao, and he is forced to live in the Nine Heavens Tushi Palace, so his magical power is not the same as that of the Taiqing sage. Later, in order to show the difference, the Lao Tzu of the Nine Heavens Doushi Palace was called the Taishang Laojun, and the Great Chitian Sage was called the Taiqing Sage.

Since Lao Jun went to heaven, all the saints felt it and secretly shouted: "Quasi-Daoist people have this plan, it is so vicious!" So they didn't dare to stay in the world for a long time. Yuan Shi Tianzun and Zhen Yuanzi all immediately dispersed their incarnations and returned to their bodies. Wang Xu had no choice but to hide in the Ghost Valley and no longer enter the world to practice.

In the fourteenth year of Lu Aigong, one day, after Confucius and his disciples finished lecturing, he suddenly made a song and said: "Mount Tai is bad! The beams and pillars are destroyed! The philosopher is withered!" After finishing the song, tears flowed down his face!

At that time, a strange beast descended from the sky, came to the court, wailed three times, and fell to the ground and died. Confucius regarded it as incompatible, so he sighed: "My life is over!"

Although the saints have passed away one after another, there are still disciples who speak and preach for them, and there are even false saints who deceive the good people. So the rebellion in Kyushu was even better than before.

Later generations have poems lamenting the situation of more than 100 years:

The Eastern Zhou Dynasty lost its government and was in turmoil, and the princes and doctors were like wheels.

There are chaotic ministers in the court who kill the old masters, and many virtuous people in the field make a clear sound.

The saints preached doctrine, and thieves swarmed to confuse the people.
