I'm done talking about it

Previous Chapter

This Book of Mountains and Seas was written in the follow-up to the previous book, Seeking the Heart Gate...

The Classic of Mountains and Seas is a national treasure-level ancient book, and many people say that it is just a legend, but when you really find that in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, many places actually exist.

If it's just an occasional existence, maybe it's a coincidence, but a lot of coincidences are fused together, then it's not as simple as a coincidence.

We all know how tragic the ancient conquests were, and the siege of cities, the construction of cities, and the collection of stones may cause changes in the landform.

Artificial change is only secondary...

Compared to what we have all learned about the earth, the movement of the earth's crust has never stopped, and the world in the Classic of Mountains and Seas is really just a legend?

The vicissitudes of time have turned what we are familiar with into unfamiliar...

Take everything around us as an example, is the home of my childhood the same as my home now?

When you take your son or grandson and point to a certain high-rise building and say, "This was once a watering hole, that there was once a wasteland," are you just talking about legends?

Times are changing, time is like a knife, erasing not only our memories, but also the changes of the whole world...

Many of the mountains in the Classic of Mountains and Seas really exist, and they can all correspond to the places we are familiar with, even if there are some places where there are some differences, it may be due to man-made or natural disasters.

And then there are the most wonderful species in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, the so-called divine beasts, demon beasts...

Are they legends too?

In ancient times, our ancestors relied on what to make a living, and there were not many who could grow grain, but most of them lived by hunting...

If the power of those divine beasts and demon beasts was intimidating, then what about their young beasts?

There are many mentions in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, what beasts can cure what diseases, what species of things, and what pains can be suppressed, all of which is enough to show that those things have not existed, not all of them are imaginary, but our ancestors have eaten up the fire of continuity...

Coupled with man-made destruction, as well as habitat changes, changes in the world environment, and species that are difficult to adapt to survive will become extinct...

If the dragon is imagined by us, the phoenix is imagined by us, and even the Kunpeng and the unicorn are imagined by us.

So has anyone ever thought that if they all really existed, only to become extinct because they couldn't adapt?

Maybe some expert will say for sure that this is just nonsense, and then say a bunch of nonsense very insightfully, but on what basis? evolution?

Then the theory of evolution says that we humans evolved from apes, but why haven't we heard that there are any apes that can evolve into humans?

There are many mythical beasts in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, all of which are human-faced beast bodies, or bird bodies, or fish bodies, etc., if they are the ancestors who eventually evolved into humans in order to adapt to the environment, which kind of apes are the anthropoids mentioned by the theory of evolution?

We haven't lived in that environment in antiquity, so we think it's all legends...

If we modern people go back to the era of the Qin Dynasty and say that we can transmit sound for thousands of miles, thousands of miles, or even tens of millions of miles with a telephone, will the people of the Qin Dynasty think that we are immortals?

Or if we travel to the Tang Dynasty and tell the people of the Tang Dynasty that we can take a plane and fly thousands of miles a day at high altitude, we can do a subway, hundreds of miles in the blink of an eye, will the people of the Tang Dynasty feel that what we are talking about is what the legendary gods will do.

But we all know that this is not a legend, we can use the telephone, we can transmit sound for thousands of miles, take a plane, we can fly away, and with a light click of our fingers, the world is in front of our eyes.

All of this is only because we are familiar with it, because we live in this era, because we are familiar with all this, because we live like this.

But in ancient times, we are not familiar with it, and we have not experienced that era, full of doubts and conjectures...

How many miracles have the predecessors created in perceiving the starry sky of the universe?

The theory of yin and yang, the five elements of the eight trigrams, the innate eight trigrams, the theory of feng shui, and even the nine palaces of the Book of Changes, all of these things, if they did not appear in ancient times, would we modern people create them?

Just because these magical things have been handed down, they really existed, and what has not been handed down has become a legend in our mouths.

The question of Chinese culture is too deep, the inheritance of a nation, the most important thing is the culture of this nation, when we ourselves deny that our culture is fictional, how can we expect others to be convinced.

I'm done talking nonsense, in fact, I'm afraid what I'm saying is still not very easy to understand... (To be continued.) )
