Since Mo Xian's practice, he has been unconsciously interested in various practices, and during the conversation, he deliberately leaned in this direction, and Dao Xuan also knew what he meant.
However, what Mo Xian didn't know was that Buddhism was different from Taoism, except for supernatural powers, but the basic cultivation was universal.
At this point, I have to say that Buddhism is stronger than Taoism, because Taoism speaks of tranquility and inaction, and the attitude of ordinary cultivators towards people is to go with the flow, while Buddhism is different, every sect is desperately preaching, and I hope that everyone in the world believes in Buddhism.

He said: "In Buddhism, based on zazen, it is divided into worldly meditation and worldly meditation, and worldly meditation includes four meditations and four colorless concentrations, which are what the world people call the four meditations and eight determinations, the four immeasurable minds, the sixteen special victories, the clear meditation, the supernatural meditation, etc., and the worldly meditation includes nine thoughts, eight thoughts, ten thoughts, eight retreats, eight victories, ten places, nine stages of determination, lion rapid samadhi, transcendent samadhi, etc., and other meditation methods. ”

There was disbelief on the faces of the two parties, Mo Xian shook his head in his heart when he saw this appearance, he didn't care about the mutual blackness between the two religions at all, he was very simple, since he practiced, whether it was Buddha or Tao, as long as he could give him strength.
Mo Xian smiled: "Only talk about cultivation, not mention hearsay that we don't know, by the way, fellow Daoist, to what extent have you practiced Zen?"
"My practice has reached the top of the two Zen heavens, and the Tao Zhen has reached the high level of the first Zen heaven, and our Buddhism divides the world into the world of desire, the world of color and the world of colorlessness, called the three worlds, the world of desire refers to the world we are in, we are at the bottom, in the world of desire, human desires are rampant, and they are not pure. Dao Xuan apparently regarded Mo Xian as a person who could be edified to preach.
However, Mo Xian did not have this kind of thought, he just wanted to understand the difference between the Buddha and the Tao, and at the same time, whether it could be used as a reference in his practice.

Mo Xian understood that this kind of determination does not depend on one thing, it is completely empty, starting from the peace (counting breaths), gradually transitioning to wanting to define, and then entering the unarrived earth determination.
Mo Xian fell into deep thought, and after a while, he asked, "After arriving at the ground, you have reached the first meditation?"
"Yes, it should be called Chu Chantian, but before you reach the ground, it must be a level, and you may be too focused on the light or too dark, and fall into the side door. Dao Xuan said.
"What's the explanation?"
"When the center is too bright, you can see blue, yellow, red, white, black, etc., the sun, moon and stars, or see the palace, and over time, you can get supernatural powers, but the supernatural powers are there, but they have fallen into evil concentration, and if they are too dark, they are unconscious, and they fall into a state of deep sleep. Dao Xuan said.
Mo Xian frowned, the situation he was talking about seemed to be the situation he encountered when he cultivated Huangting Dao, could it be that Huangting Dao was what he said was an evil determination?
Thinking about it again, the situation is still different, that kind of situation appeared very late, Mo Xian has not appeared yet, besides, I have not heard of the appearance of fetal breath in meditation, even if it appears, it must be after the first meditation, it seems that the two focus on different points.
Since the appearance of the earth, it began to enter the first Zen heaven, and from the depth of the earth, the mind will rise to the first Zen heaven, Mo Xian understood, Dao Xuan said so, the color world and the colorless world are only the realm of meditation, but the Buddhists think that it is real, so the world is illusory.
From the six days of desire to enter the realm of the first meditation, but it is to enter the world of color twenty-two days, of which the twelve days of the first meditation, Brahma body, Brahma, Brahma, Brahma, light, less light, immeasurable light, light and sound day, pure day, less pure day, immeasurable pure day, all pure heaven each day represents a realm, roughly divided into three realms, that is, Brahma, Guangtian, and pure heaven are collectively called the three days of the first meditation, and each day is divided into four small realms.
The four layers of the sky are the second Zen heavens, that is, the wide heavens (strict ornamental heaven), the less wide heavens (small strict ornamental heavens), the immeasurable vast heavens (the immeasurable strict ornamental heavens), and the Guangguo heavens (the strict ornamental fruit heavens); the heavens of no thought, the days of no annoyance, and the days of no annoyance are the third Zen heavens, and the heavens of good seeing, good appearance, and color are the fourth Zen heavens.
After that, there are the four heavens of the colorless realm, which are the four colorless realms.
If he abandons the way of the Yellow Court and changes to meditation, it is not impossible, but between the two, it seems to be fundamentally different, and the four meditations and eight determinations are completely unquestionable, such as the first day of the three days of the first meditation, that is, Brahma, Brahma, Brahma, and Great Brahma.
These four days are the process of cultivating the four meditations and attaining karmic purification.
Those who are in the Brahma body can live in their bodies when they are free from desires, evil, and ungood thoughts;
Those who assist the heavens, with the thoughts of detachment from evil and unwholesomeness, choose the Dharma to do it, and the evil deeds they do are reduced;
Brahma, for all evil deeds, choose the law and do not do it;
Great Brahma, you don't need to choose the Dharma and do evil deeds, you can't afford it, you can have pure karma.
In a word, they are basically spiritual cultivation processes, where matter is decreasing and spirit is increasing.
In the "Huang Ting Jing", although it is mainly contemplation, Mo Xian has not yet entered this level, although he has reached the level of fetal breath in the quiet realm, and he can see the beginning of inner enlightenment, but he has not yet contemplated the gods.
Mo Xian was thinking about the difference between Buddha and Tao, he pondered, Dao Xuan smiled, but Wei Sen was secretly anxious: "Mo Xian, your cultivation is based on Taoism, don't forget the Dao!"
A word to wake up the dreamer, don't forget the avenue, everything in the world, is the embodiment of the Tao, this is Mo Xian read countless Taoist classics in the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, and compared with other religions, but debut is the foundation of the universe.
"I understand, the Buddha takes emptiness as the sect, the Tao is based on nothing, there is born in nothing, divided into two yin and yang and two rituals, and then generates the four elephant gossip, so the Taoists take Qi as the foundation of everything, Qi Ju appears in the world, Qi scatters is invisible, the living and dead, the gathering and scattering of Qi, the world is nothing more than a Qi, into nothing, and returns to the Tao. Mo Xian laughed, he finally understood, the moment he understood, his body moved, Mo Xian didn't know, he had quietly been promoted to the level of inner knowledge.
Dao Xuan was stunned, he didn't expect that because of his reasons, Mo Xian not only did not turn to the Buddha, but took a step further on the road of the Dao.

Wei Sen was also inexplicable, what did Mo Xian realize?
Mo Xian turned around and bowed to the Tao: "Thank you, fellow Daoist, for taking the trouble to make me understand the difference and connection between meditation and my practice. ”
"The donor can have something, Dao Xuan is also happy for the donor, the world is nothing but Buddhism, the Tao Te Ching does not say that the name of the strong is the Tao, the name is different, and the essence is the same. Dao Xuan's mouth said beautifully, and he was also very curious in his heart, what Mo Xian had figured out.
In fact, Mo Xian figured out what the nature of the world is, the Buddha takes the world as illusory, and the Tao is the foundation of the world, and the Tao is the Tao of the super-existence, as Dao Xuan said, the Tao is also reluctantly named, but the origin and law of the world, for Mo Xian, the world is at his current level, it is derived from the innate Yiqi, what will happen in the future, as long as he does not die, his cultivation increases, maybe his views will change.
This is also the Tao, which changes with time and is in motion, but movement is unchanging.
