The old woman smiled and said: "Holy monk, from here to the West Heaven Da Lei Yin Temple, the road is far away, you have to cross the mountains, cross the big river, there are many poisonous snakes and beasts, strong people are rampant, demons are infested, you are alone, you don't bring some followers, you don't accept some apprentices, how did you go to the West Heaven to learn scriptures?"

However, the heart of harming others is indispensable, and the heart of guarding against others is indispensable. Sanzang guessed in his heart that the old woman was incarnated by Guanyin Bodhisattva, but he did not let his guard down. The five fingers of the left hand were all faintly pointing at the old woman's throat.

Sanzang said: "The old man doesn't know, yesterday the disciple was not far behind him at the foot of the two realms of the mountain, and received an apprentice, named Sun Wukong, who knew that the apprentice had a fierce personality, so brave and ruthless, stubborn, the disciple said a few words to him, but he was not taught, but wanted to take my life, and then I escaped with my life, the apprentice had a somersault and ran away on his own. ”

The old woman said, "I see. Holy monk, you see I have a brocade robe and a flower hat in my hand, which was originally used by my son. He only served as a monk for three days and unfortunately died short-lived. I just went to his temple and wept for a while, and on the way back, I took his clothes back and wanted to make a memorial. But he was fated to meet the holy monk from the Tang Dynasty again. Holy monk, the road ahead is dangerous and the road is far away, you are alone, how much you have to accept a few apprentices, so as to help you go to the west to learn scriptures. I simply gave you this dress, and it can be regarded as a good fate. ”

Sanzang said: "Thank you for the kindness of the old man, but my apprentice has already left, and it is useless for you to send me, the old man still leaves his clothes and makes a memorial for his son, please forgive me for not accepting it." ”

The old woman said, "Holy monk, you said your disciple was gone, but you didn't know where he went?"

Sanzang said: "I only saw my apprentice's figure flickering and disappeared. ”

"Holy monk, is he going to the east, or to the west?"

"To the east!" said Sanzang.

The old woman smiled and said, "Holy monk, then you don't have to worry, my family happens to live in the east, presumably your apprentice went to my house to beg for food." I also have a mantra here, called 'Concentration Mantra', also known as the Tightening Mantra, you can memorize the mantra well, remember it firmly in your heart, don't let anyone know, I will go home, go to catch up with your apprentice, and persuade him to come back and continue with you. When you wait for him to come back, put this garment and hat on him, and if he refuses to listen to you in the future, you will silently recite the mantra, and he will no longer dare not disobey, and if you want him to go west to learn the scriptures, he will not dare to say a word. ”

When Sanzang heard this, he already knew in his heart that this old woman was indeed incarnated by Guanyin Bodhisattva. If I changed to someone else, I couldn't think of such a bad move. If Sun Wukong is disobedient again, there will inevitably be more negative tricks in the future.

My apprentice, though he was as short as a child, had great strength, and he tore this brocade coat and hat into pieces. ”

The old woman smiled and said: "Holy monk, my tight mantra is secretly passed down by a master and a strange person, specializing in dealing with evildoers who do not respect the teacher, no matter how powerful your apprentice is, even if he can pierce the sky, he will be restrained by this flower hat." ”

Sanzang smiled secretly in his heart, little junior sister, you have reminded me of a lot of things in my previous life. In the previous life, you were the weakest of our five disciples, but in this life, you have made it difficult for me in all kinds of ways. Hey!

Sanzang said: "Thank you for the old man's great help, since this hat has a tight hoop spell, there must be that loose hoop spell, as the saying goes, save people to the end, pass the scriptures to the home, please ask the old man to pass the loose hoop spell to me." ”

The old woman was stunned for a moment and said, "Holy monk, in fact, I will only tighten the mantra, and I will not loosen the mantra. ”

Sanzang said: "Old man, if there is only a tight mantra, please forgive me for not accepting your kindness. ”

The woman was stunned and said, "Why did the holy monk say this?"

Sanzang said: "Only the mantra of tightening the hoop to control people, but there is no mantra to release people freely, which is not in line with the compassionate heart of my Buddha, so the poor monks will never dare to bear it." ”

The old woman groaned for a moment and said, "Okay, holy monk, since you insist on this, I will pass on the Tightening Mantra and the Loose Hoop Mantra to you, but as soon as the Songhoop Mantra is thought, your apprentice is no longer obedient and wants to kill you, but what can I do?"

"In time, after my teachings, the apprentice still wants to kill the master, but in fact, this is not the apprentice's fault, but the master's own fault. Sanzang said.

The old woman was silent when she heard this, she knew very well that this pedantic holy monk had come up with those strange remarks in her previous life, and although she did not agree with what the monk said, she could not force it. If the master had an order to arrange for the monk to travel west to learn the scriptures, she could only try her best to cooperate with the monk to complete the task.

The old woman said, "Since the holy monk insists, I have a loose hoop mantra here, and I will teach it to you as well." ”

Then he put the brocade robe and flower hat in the coat, sat down cross-legged on the spot, and looked at the mantra of tightening and loosening the mantra upside down, and memorized the two mantras firmly, and memorized them like a stream! So he waited on the side of the road for the Guanyin Bodhisattva to admonish Sun Wukong back. He meditated cross-legged, chanted sutras and went to meditation.

But said that the Bodhisattva pinched his fingers and calculated that the Sun Monkey went to the East China Sea Dragon Palace Ao Guang's Water Mansion to rub food and wine, and the Bodhisattva flew to the East China Sea with auspicious clouds, and before he could speak, he saw that the sea water in the sea was separated, and the Sun Monkey was dressed in plain clothes, full of wine, and staggered up from the sea.

The Bodhisattva shouted: "Sun Wukong, you promised me to change my past wrongs, and ensure that the scriptures are taken to the west to learn the scriptures and achieve positive results." But why did the Master of the Three Tibetan Realms break your promise, leave the Master, and come here to do something wrong?"
