Poor Qi
It is an evil god in Chinese legends who suppresses good and promotes evil, its size is like a cow, the appearance is like a tiger, covered with hedgehog fur, has wings, and its cry is like a dog, and it lives by eating people. It is said that he often flies to the scene of a fight, bites off the nose of the righteous party, and if someone commits an evil deed, he will catch a wild beast and give it to him, and encourage him to do more bad deeds. The ancients also called the kind of people who are not careful, far away from the gentleman and close to the villain.
Legend has it that it is one of the "four murders" in ancient times. It is mainly recorded in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas". There are different opinions on the four evils (ζ’Όζ, chaos, and gluttony), and generally the one in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" prevails! There are two characteristics: First, it looks like a winged tiger. Two: Eat only good people. If someone commits an evil deed, they will catch a wild beast and give it to him, and encourage him to do more bad deeds. The ancients also called the kind of people who are not careful, far away from the gentleman and close to the villain. [1]
However, there is also a positive side. In a ritual of exorcism called "Dada", there are twelve types of fierce beasts that devour evil spirits, called the Twelve Gods or Twelve Beasts, which are one of them. According to the "Classic of Mountains and Seas, the Classic of the Sea and the North of the Sea", it refers to the appearance of a tiger, with a pair of wings, likes to eat people, and will start eating from the head of people, is a vicious beast. However, in the same "Classic of Mountains and Seas", there is another image mentioned in the "Classic of the Western Mountains", in which the appearance is like a cow and the hair of a hedgehog is very different from that described in the "North Classic of the Sea". However, both are fierce beasts that like to eat people, and there is no difference in this regard.
2 Legends
Origins
The origin recorded in "Historical Records: The Five Emperors" records, "Shaohao's family has no talent, destroys faith and loyalty, and worships evil words, which is called by the world." Shun exiled him and "moved to the four descendants to resist the charm." Shao Hao is the Emperor of the West, his mother's name is Huang'e, and his father is called "White Emperor", that is, the essence of Taibai, their story can be seen in "Collecting Memories", which is very beautiful and moving. There is a poor mulberry tree there, and its fruit bears fruit every ten thousand years, and if you eat it, I will not grow old. Shao Hao dominated the West and was called the "Poor Sang Clan", or "Jin Tian Clan". Pay attention to these keywords "white", "gold", the Shaohao clan is located in the west is undoubted, and was also expelled to the northwest by Shun, and was expelled together with the Yellow Emperor's untalented son "Chaos"; In other words, unlike several other emperors, those who were exiled by Yu Shun all went to the West rather than the Quartet, and the so-called "Imperial Charm" is likely to refer to the suppression of local ethnic minorities, and it is not surprising that the behavior of the monsters is derived from such an idea. "Chaos", "peach", and "gluttony" also have similar characteristics.
The beast said
"Zuo Chuan: The Eighteenth Year of Duke Wen" recorded: "The Shaohao clan has no talent, and the people of the world call it. In the Han Dynasty, when Gao Lu annotated the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", he also mentioned that he was a descendant of the Shaohao clan and one of the "three seedlings" of Yu Shun. However, so far, scholars still have different opinions on the interpretation of the "three seedlings", so the identity is only a chatter, and cannot be confirmed.
In addition, the "Divine Strange Sutra: Northwest Desolation Sutra" gives a more detailed explanation. The book records that the "North Classic of the Sea", which is similar to the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", is still a monster that looks like a tiger and has wings. He specializes in hunting and eating humans on weekdays, and can understand human language. When it knows that someone is arguing, it tends to eat the upright, it eats the nose of someone who knows that he is faithful, and it hunts wild beasts and gives them to that person when it knows that someone is doing evil or bad. It is an evil beast with a completely upside-down concept of good and evil. However, some commentators have cited other versions to add that in this version, the image is closer to the "Xishan Jing" in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", referring to a long tail that looks like a cow, has a long tail that looks like a fox and drags on the ground, and its bark is like that of a dog, and it is said to be "a dog-headed humanoid, with hooked claws and sawtooth". Whenever they meet a faithful person, they will eat him, and when they meet a wicked person, they will take the initiative to hunt wild beasts and worship him. Although the two have very different images, their behavior is the same.
The Good Beast said
However, according to the "Book of Etiquette of the Later Han Dynasty", the twelve gods who "chased the evil culprit" were recorded, and among them was the phrase "Tenggen eats Gu together", which can drive away Gu poison here, and it is a divine beast with a positive image. When Guo Pu annotated the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", he also wrote a hymn of "The beast is very ugly; gallop away the demons and evils, and run away; and it is a one, called the divine dog", which also pointed out that the act of expelling the demons and evil spirits will be carried out. These actions to eliminate harm for the people are very different from the image of eating good and helping evil in the past.
When Gao Lu annotated "Huainanzi Qiangxing", he mentioned that he was "born of Guang Mo Feng", thinking that he was a descendant of the wind god, not the unscrupulous son of Shaohao's family.
3 Japanese Monsters
Japanese: γγΎγγγ‘ is also called Kamatoel, which refers to a mammal with a slender body and short limbs. Therefore, the so-called "Weasel" is supposed to be a Itachi-like youkai that appears on a whirlwind. It holds a sharp scythe in its hand, and everywhere it goes, it leaves a wound that looks like a sharp object. Sometimes the wound is even deep into the bone, and when it is cut, the person does not feel pain and does not bleed. But it doesn't take long for the intense pain to kick in. And puzzlingly, it mostly hurts people's thigh parts.
It is said to be a trio that is spread throughout Gifu Prefecture, and they usually act together like a family. Legend has it that the father would trip someone in an instant, and then the mother would quickly cut the person with a sickle, and the child would immediately apply medicine to the injured person. Because they moved so fast that the person being cut did not immediately notice that he was injured, thinking that the wind was blowing past. Therefore, the word "" was later borrowed to mean "wind blade", in short, "a whirlwind formed in a vacuum". Because this animal is good at using the wind, it has become a symbol of the wind, and the move of Temari in Naruto 1 is named after it.
However, there are also a few legends that mention murder or blood-sucking. This is supposed to be a legend about old age, because it is said that when you get older, you will turn into a kind of monster with magical powers, with very scary, sickle-like claws, and it can fly in the air faster than the wind, and no one has ever seen what they look like.
