In the first episode of "Good Songs of China" broadcast last Friday, an original song called "Rolling Bead Curtain" made Liu Huan on the stage cry in a daze; the video about this song was forwarded more than 60,000 times in 4 hours on Weibo; the program team even regarded this song as the main song of the program and recommended it on various social platforms.

Huo Zun, a young man born in the 90s who has participated in the talent show many times, finally sang the fire this time. Recently, in an interview with reporters, Huo Zun told the story behind the creation of this song.

Original song collaboration lyrics

"Painting the building to fly to the south of the clouds, the bead curtain rolls up in the west mountain rain at dusk", this is a poem in the "Preface to the Pavilion of King Teng", and it is also the origin of the song title of "Rolling Bead Curtain". As soon as "Rolling Bead Curtain" came out of the rivers and lakes, he sang and cried Liu Huan on the stage, conquering countless audiences. Everyone began to wonder, under what circumstances did the 3-year-old Huo Zun create such a very Chinese-style work?

Huo Zun said that his original intention was to write an Irish tune, but after writing it, he listened to it and found that the song seemed to have more Chinese style. So after discussing with a friend, he decided to fill in the words first, and the two filled in the lyrics together, and revised them a few times together, but the song completely deviated from the original track, and the whole was "abducted" by the Chinese style. Since this is the case, Huo Zun simply named it "Bead Curtain".

In Huo Zun's heart, the artistic conception of this song is like this: a beauty finishes painting red makeup in the mirror, rolls up the bead curtain, hides behind, and quietly waits for her sweetheart to return.

However, Huo Zun said that his writing was not so good, and one-third of the lyrics of this song were actually written by that friend.

It won't just be sung with island songs

The Chinese-style composition and lyrics of "Bead Curtain", combined with Huo Zun's mournful and poignant voice, finally made him stand out. Because of the unique singing style, some people compare Huo Zun with the representative of the Japanese island singing voice, Huo Zun explained seriously: "This style does not belong to a certain person, the island song is originally a great singing culture, and I just borrowed this singing voice." ”

However, Huo Zun also said that he did not plan to sing in this way all the time, because the audience would feel aesthetic fatigue. Moreover, relatively speaking, island singing is a relatively niche singing style, and Huo Zun hopes to bring his works to a wider audience, so he will not stick to a single creative style.

At present, Huo Zun has composed more than 30 songs, and the reporter found that there are even R&B style tunes, which are not the same.
