Later, the river bottom tunnel was opened, and it gradually developed here, and many resorts were built. In the East China Sea, except for Chongming Island, there are no mountains in other places, and those names called mountains actually have no real mountains. Therefore, the people of the East China Sea are very rare. In the ancient saying, the mountain is the backing mountain, adjustable feng shui, and changing the qi festival. Because of this, as soon as the tunnel was opened ten years ago, real estate developers poured into the island to build a large number of buildings. In less than ten years, Chongming has rapidly developed from a backward rural area to a modern city, and it has the rhythm to catch up with the main city.

There are garrisons on the island, and the Eastern Naval Region, the East China Sea Fleet, and a certain detachment of the armed police have all built large bases here, and have taken advantage of the innate conditions of mountains, water, jungles, and large areas of muddy swamps to build modern training grounds for the training of troops.

Because the barracks here are large enough to accommodate more than 3,000 candidates, the location of this year's special training class assessment was selected at the Chongming Armed Police Laoshiwan Training Base. In previous years, the assessment of the special training class was carried out in several places, first at the city's shooting center for a shooting competition, then at the city stadium for a fighting competition, then the personnel who had not been eliminated were dragged to a certain mountainous area in Zhejiang Province for a 40-kilometer cross-country run, jungle fighting, and hostage search and rescue, and finally returned to the East China Sea for the assessment of modern police equipment and case analysis.

Under the pressure of the development of the times, criminals use modern equipment to commit crimes in an endless stream, which also forces the police to continuously improve the scientific and technological components of the equipment and penetrate the high-tech field. Of course, more than 3,700 people, plus nearly 5,000 logistics personnel, examiners, guest leaders, etc., it is impossible to live here, according to estimates, more than half of the contestants will be eliminated on the first day, and those leaders will only appear here on the first and last day, and the rest of the time will not stay here for a long time.

The special training class assessment has been organized for many sessions, the organizing committee is also very experienced, the registration form has long been generated in the computer system, each person three code cards and identity one by one corresponding to several different items of the competition, the code card three days ago was sent to the system, in Chongming Island before the car, the organizers of each unit will send the number plate to the individual. The number plate consists of a colourful coded tag with Arabic numerals indicating the number of the runner, which can be attached to the garment, and an information tag, a small electronic device that transmits information, suspended by a special rope and can be hung around the neck or carried into a pocket. In addition, each participant received a competition schedule. Because there were too many contestants, there were two events to be held on the first day, so the two events were crossed at the same time. According to the code, half of the people were randomly selected for the shooting test, and the other half were given a 20-kilometer cross-country run.

Because it is randomly selected by the computer, the randomness is very large, which makes it difficult for people who have already formed a team before the race and are not strong enough to run themselves with the help of their peers in cross-country running, unless they are lucky enough to be grouped together.

The first day of the assessment began at 10 o'clock in the morning, and at 9 o'clock the participants came to the sound of Didi on the hanging card around their necks, and the first message sent by the organizing committee was received on the screen on the board at this time, informing the contestant of the content of the morning examination, the examination location and the relevant regulations of the examination.

Shooting = There are four tests in the exam: 50-meter static shooting, 50-meter moving target shooting, 100-meter assault rifle shooting, and simulated live shooting in a building. Generally, the contestants are randomly selected by the computer and divided into four groups, and the four groups participate in the competition in different places at the same time.

Whether it is a shooting event or a cross-country run, as long as it is judged to be eliminated, it will not be able to participate in the next competition immediately, and the information boards, badges and number plates will all be confiscated by the organizing committee.

The reason why it is said to be an assessment, not a competition, is because all the assessment items do not determine the final ranking, and the line is drawn to pass the test. The 30km fully equipped trail run is a line of 3 hours and 20 minutes. When the time comes, the assessment ends, and those who arrive at the destination before this time are eligible to enter the next round of assessment, and the rest are eliminated on the spot. However, as soon as competitions such as cross-country running, shooting, and jungle battles are over, the rankings are naturally decided, but the final ranking in the fighting arena cannot be decided, and only three rounds are held, and the elimination system is implemented in small groups. In a group of ten people, the computer draw in the group immediately catches the opponent for microcirculation, and those who win three games in a row will qualify.

This kind of assessment sounds cruel, there is no favor to talk about at all, and it is all hard indicators. In the fighting arena, there is no definite number of opponents, and no one can predict who the opponent will be. It is possible that two best friends or partners in a group will fight in the same ring to determine the winner. However, in order to avoid the early elimination of the best players, in the project assessment, the list of seeded teams will be reported by each system, and the seeded teams will not meet together, or even be divided into the same group and area. There are nine players in each of the four systems, for a total of 36 seeded players. For the armed police, who have always had the most outstanding results, this kind of average seed count is a disadvantage for them, but there is no way, the rules are the rules, this is a rule that has been carried over from the first competition, and the participating units must accept it.

There are only two items that can be set up in seeds, one is grappling and the other is jungle fighting. There are only eight seeds for jungle battles, two for each system, divided into eight sections.

Each assessment item, in addition to measuring the passing score, actually has a big ranking.

This ranking is related to the final 36-man squad, with 100 points for the first place in each event, 90 points for the second place, 80 points for the third place, and 75 points to 50 points for the fourth to tenth place. Thirty points for 11th to 50th place, 10 points for 50th to 100th place, 5 points for 100th to 200th place, and 1 point for 200 to 500 place.

The final of the fight will not be held until there are only 108 fighters left, and the final will be held at the city's Olympic Stadium, which is open to public spectators.

In the end, the sum of the scores of several items was summed to exclude the final squad, and the top 36 people were automatically promoted to participate in the three-month special training class.
