The first time, Toei Shinobi one

In the 15th to 16th centuries of more than 100 years, the Fuso country was divided, the shogunate rule had existed in name only, the original central government ruling power was not strong in the Iga region, in a short period of time there were dozens of different separatist forces, these forces rebelled and attacked each other, because the population of Fuso country is limited, each force is very short of land and soldiers, so if you want to defeat each other, you must rely on the training of special warriors - "ninjas" to conduct reconnaissance, sneak attacks, As a result, more than 30 ninja schools soon emerged in Fuso, the most famous of which were the two schools of Iga-ryu and Koga-ryu.

Ninjas are both samurai and assassins, trained in Toei ninjutsu, specializing in espionage, assassination, and other activities. Martial arts are only a small part of the "ninjutsu" that ninjas need to practice, in addition, there are five compulsory subjects of "food, incense, medicine, qi, and body", commonly known as the "five ways of ninja".

"Food", refers to the food of the ninja, in order to be able to haunt the branches and roofs and other hidden places, the ninja needs to practice an excellent light skill, the weight of the qualified ninja generally can not exceed 100 catties, the ninja's three meals a day are black rice, oats, tofu, grinding taro as the staple food; on the other hand, in order to maintain sufficient physical strength, so sesame, pine nuts, brown sugar, quail and other foods are also indispensable.

"Incense" refers to the ninja's ability to judge the other person's fortune and status by the smell of their clothes. But sometimes, in order to disguise their ninja identity, ninjas often use seven identities such as merchants, cultivators, and monks, and spices such as cloves, sandalwood, and cinnamon are used by them to create different body odors and enhance the authenticity of their disguises.

"Medicine" is not simple, ninjas usually must also be proficient in medicine, and need to be good at using various trees and herbs in the mountains and forests to heal injuries and diseases. In order to avoid mosquito bites when lurking for a long time, ninjas carry a large amount of insect repellent medicines, in addition to various medicines such as incense, strong poisons, realgar, and epimedium for different tasks.

"Qi" refers to the ninja's focus on self-cultivation, so that they can concentrate, be decisive and brave in actual combat, and not be surprised by changes, which is strikingly similar to the cultivation methods of many martial arts sects of the Holy Dynasty.

"Body" refers to the ninja's focus on the exercise of muscles and joints, and at the same time cooperate with meditation, breathing, massage, acupuncture and other recovery methods to train themselves, so as to meet the needs of various martial arts.

In addition to the "Five Ninja Paths" mentioned above, good ninjas also need to know the Western Regions firearms, the legendary ninja masters, who can predict the weather by watching the starry sky and concoct their own gunpowder and firearms.

For example, the unique weapon used by the famous ninja "Ape Flying Sun and Moon" in history is a sudden fire* gun with a range of about 50 meters, which is twice the range of the best bird gun in the Ming Dynasty army, which is known for its firearms. It's a pity that Sarutobi Sasuke later strayed into a trap and was killed, and the mysterious weapon Assault Fire * Gun has never been missing.

Spiritual Cultivation: Unlike other martial arts schools that emphasize physical training, Ninjutsu emphasizes spiritual cultivation in particular, and its entire training system is based on spiritual cultivation beyond imagination.

Because most of the ninja perform high-risk missions that never go back, and completing the mission alone in the enemy's lair has to overcome many difficulties such as death, loneliness, darkness, and even hunger, cold, injury, etc., so having strong mental strength is the real reason why ninjutsu is invincible.

As a descendant of a ninja family, once you are born, you must accept the cruel reality of fate - become a ninja or die.

From a very young age, ninjas are instilled with the idea of absolute loyalty to their masters: no one will obey orders except their own, not even His Excellency the Emperor. Ninjas, who have been brainwashed from an early age, are more fanatical and fearless than any religious believer.

However, Ninja is not a zombie-like warrior like a cultist, and it has a practical training method for strong mental strength. This kind of spiritual training technique is the secret of ninjutsu, and it is the spiritual practice of Dongmi.

Eastern Esoteric and China's Tibetan Esoteric and Indian Miscellaneous Esoteric are the same, is a branch of Tantra in Buddhism, and Eastern Esoteric for the development of human mental power, has always had its own unique heritage, in the Esoteric world has been known for its significant speed, ninjas through the practice of Eastern Esoteric Secrets, temper their will, the spirit becomes incomparably pure and tenacious, and the potential in the body will be maximized.

You can completely get rid of the confusion and fear of the mind, and devote yourself to the battle. In addition, Tantra believes that the human body has many mysteries and potentials, and that as long as the tantric method is tirelessly pursued, the practitioner can realize his full potential, so that the body can communicate with the universe to reach the realm of heaven and man, which coincides with the extreme body art pursued by ninjas.

Tantra regards the Great Sun as the Lord of all things, and strongly promotes lineage, mantras, and mantras. We can often see ninjas making many strange gestures in some film and television works or comics, which is to express the "Nine-Character Secret Seal", one of the main practices of the Eastern Secret: "Lin, Bing, Fight, Person, Both, Array, Column, In, Front".

Skills Training: Children of the ninja family, both male and female, must carry on the professional traditions of their ancestors, and are generally trained from the age of five. There are five types of training, namely Balance, Agility, Strength, Endurance and Special Techniques.

Balance training begins with walking on a bamboo pole, when you can walk on a round bamboo pole without slipping down, gradually raise the bamboo pole to a height of thirty or forty feet, and eventually reach the realm of running and jumping like walking on the ground, so that you can climb up and down trees, roofs and walls, and walk like flying.

The same is true for agile training, jumping over the rope with the blade in it, and speeding through the narrow lanes full of sharp blades and spear tips. Endurance and strength training is the most arduous, such as hanging your hands on a tree, supporting your whole body, and putting hidden weapons underneath to prevent you from letting go and jumping down, and using fear to stimulate the potential in your body for long-term support.

Long-distance running is the basic skill of ninjas, requiring them to run 50 kilometers in a row without stopping to rest, and it is common to travel 100 miles a day. As for special skills training, it is even more surprising. In addition to the above, there are hand-to-hand combat, poisoning and detoxification, etc. Masquerade is a specialty of ninjas, who can create human skin and fake faces, and change gender. Let a ninja walk through the crowd, and several people will identify him, and the result will be different for each person, tall, short, fat and thin, and so on, which can really be described as a "man with a thousand faces". There are also stealth techniques, such as the sudden disappearance of a ninja in the smoke, which is a hole dug by the ninja in advance, and then jumping into the hole under the cover of the smoke, causing the pursuer to lose his target, thinking that there is really a "stealth technique".

Physical training: Ninjutsu is also very cruel to the intensity of physical training. What ninjutsu includes, every ninja must be proficient in. And every training is all death knockout, and those who can't bear it are not allowed to survive. In addition to regular training, ninjutsu also includes a variety of "strange power training" through which ninjas further hone their will, endurance, survivability, and more.

This kind of strange training, such as not eating for days on end, killing one's own companions, and fighting fierce beasts, is unimaginable. Through these inhumane practices with extremely high mortality rates, ninjas have achieved a superhuman leap from spirit to **. Gained perseverance, endurance, and combat effectiveness beyond ordinary people.

The ninjas who survived through ninjutsu training are all absolutely reliable full-power fighting machines.

The martial arts of the ninja were fundamentally different from the martial arts of the Japanese samurai at that time, and the ninja usually did not use a sword or spear due to the special tasks they carried out, but used short weapons and hidden weapons that were easy to carry.

Legend has it that there was a hidden weapon called "Octagonal Ling" in the Central Plains Wulin in the Ming Dynasty, which is made of pure steel, sharp as a knife, thin as paper, the size is only two inches, scattered out like a rain of flowers in the sky, and the "Octagonal Ling" is fed with poison, which is very likely to come from the hands of Japanese ninjas. And the ninja's hand-to-hand combat is also a must, ten fingers like steel and iron, piercing the chest and abdomen, tearing the neck and splitting the head, instantly making people to death, although not as profound as the Central Plains martial arts, but the practicality is strong.

The ninja's dwelling is also mysterious, with hidden mechanisms everywhere, in order to protect against the threat of ninjas under the command of other separatist forces. It often looks like an ordinary house, but there is usually a hinge under the floor next to the seat, and when an enemy breaks into the house, it only needs to tap the plank, and the back side is immediately flipped to reveal the weapon, and the sword is used to fight. The planks of the canopy are also often movable, and when pulled down, there are folding stairs to make it easier to hide yourself or escape.

The traditional door of the Toei Fuso is a sliding door, and the front is easy to be blocked, and the sound is loud when entering and exiting, so the door of the ninja's room is a turnstile, so you can attack the opponent by surprise without showing your face. There are secret doors everywhere on the wall panels, or for escape, or for hiding weapons, and there is a Koga-ryu ninja room with seventeen dark holes in the wall, more than thirty different weapons, it is simply an invisible weapon display case.

The theoretical basis of ninjutsu is derived from the art of war of Fuso, which was passed down from the holy dynasty, and then developed and integrated with the Fuso people's own cultivation and the ambush skills of the Fuso mountain people in the mountains.

In the Heian period, due to the rise of the samurai class, the art of war in ambushes in the mountains was developed by the samurai.

In the Genhei era, Minamoto Yoshitsune, who learned to ambush in the mountains, successfully used the techniques of ambushes in the mountains and completed the theory of attack surface warfare.

During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Kusunoki Masanari developed the art of defense and warfare, and at the same time, ninjutsu and martial arts were separated into different systems.

During the Fuso Warring States period, various schools of ninjutsu began to make great progress, as ninjutsu, martial arts, and the art of war were in great demand in this era.

But unlike the art of war and martial arts, ninjutsu has its own uniqueness. There are several areas where ninjutsu is developed, and the school of ninjutsu is named after the following place names: Musashi, Kai, Echigo, Shinano, Iga, Koga, and Kii.

Among them, the ninjutsu of Iga-ryu, Koga-ryu, and Kiir-ryu is the most developed in Japan.

Ninjas are generally divided into three levels: upper ninja, middle ninja, and lower ninja, and there is no such title as upper ninja in Kogaryu.

Iga ninja emphasizes individual combat ability, while Koga ninja emphasizes the ability to fight collectively.

The Koga ninja are loyal only to their lords, while the Iga ninja work for the highest bidder.
