Therefore, the Holy Land of Bliss is the second layer of protection of the Sumeru Sacred Mountain, and it is easy to enter and difficult to get out, which is also the reason why the true gods dare not rush in. ”

That is to say, the reason why human beings have more troubles than livestock is because they have a stronger sense of self. Self-concept leads to selfish behavior, and anything that contradicts selfish behavior causes trouble. The basic factors that constitute self-concept are first of all our **, and then gradually expand outward, with my property, my reputation, my career, my power, and so on. People struggle to defend these "me" and "my" ideas, and they also incur troubles because of this. In fact, when you feel pain and can't solve it, you might as well change your attitude and try to think about "selflessness". The Buddhist scriptures say: "Everything in the world, including everyone's body and mind, is an illusion caused by karma, and there is no way to find where the concept of 'me' can take root, so it is 'selfless'." ”
Lan'er nodded frequently: "That's a good point! People nowadays are too selfish, they only pretend to be themselves in their hearts, and they don't know anything else except themselves." ”
Ye Haotian was thinking in his heart: "The realm of selflessness is too high, and few people reach it." According to the view of the mean, normal people have a sense of self. As long as it's not too strong, you won't have too many troubles. ”

I felt that I had taken advantage of the monk, and I was very happy, and when I got home, I couldn't wait to tell my sister what had happened.
"Brother, you have been taken advantage of by the monks. After listening to this, my sister reminded me, "The Buddhist scriptures say that if there is a Buddha in the heart, then everything is a Buddha." The monk has a Buddha in his heart, so look at you like a Buddha. Then dare to ask you, big brother, what was in your heart at that time?'"

Then he spoke of 'greed and greed', quoting a 32-character proverb: "Going out of public opinion and entering the chariot is the opportunity of the lotus." On the day of the rain prayer ceremony, the emperor sat in a dragon and phoenix sedan chair, surrounded by the ruling ministers, came to the Great Xiangguo Temple, and was greeted into the main hall by a group of monks kneeling. When the young people saw the main hall saluting, they hugged the clusters, and they never saw it really, so they specially acted as tea waiters and paid their respects nearby.
The emperor took the fragrant tea from the young man's hand, and when he saw that he was born with a huge body, big ears, clear eyebrows, and an extraordinary spirit, he was surprised in his heart, and asked casually: "Waiter, what is your name?
The young man was stunned at first, and then he was in a hurry, and kowtowed: "The minister's surname is Lin Mingfoyin, the word Jue is old, a native of Raozhou, and a newly monk." Today, I am fortunate to have a glimpse of the sky, and I am overjoyed. ”
Seeing that he was clever and clever, the emperor asked, 'Since his name is Buddha Yin, can he know the Dharma?'
Buddha Yin said: 'The minister has been studying since childhood, and the Buddha listens to Zen. Buddhist classics, a little bit of knowledge. ’
The emperor said: "In this case, I gave Qing the name of 'Yuan', a purple robe, a golden bowl, and a sheepskin do, and shaved in front of the palace as a monk." ’
That Buddha Yin was originally a talented person who went to Beijing to take the examination, and he really hoped to be named on the gold list and make meritorious contributions, but it was difficult to disobey the king's order, so how could he dare to say that I was a pretended attendant? For a while, he had to fake the show, kowtow and thank him, and become a handsome monk from a promising man. It's a pity that the mistake of the Buddha's thought is self-defeating, and it is too late to regret it. ”
The old man listened to him quietly, his face did not change at all, and he smiled slightly: "I have also heard of this story, but the ending is a little different from what you said. After the Buddha Yin became a monk, he successively became a monk in Chengtian Temple in Jiangzhou, Kaixian Temple in Lushan, and Jiaoshan Temple in Runzhou, and later presided over the world-famous Jinshan Temple. Now the Dongpo monks are also the bodhisattvas of the eight places. Ye Haotian rarely saw a martial arts master in the Buddha Kingdom, so he naturally refused to let it go easily, and said respectfully at the moment: "The disciple is still short when he cultivates Buddhism, and the most interesting thing is naturally to practice martial arts to strengthen his body, the master is a well-known cultivation master of Buddhism, please bring me a lot." ”
Bodhidharma said with a smile: "It's good to say, the poor monk is responsible for this level, and the main lecture is Buddhist martial arts." Come, come, let's sit on the floor and chat. You only have an hour, don't waste it. So saying, he found a protruding lapis lazuli and sat down.

Bodhidharma glanced at them and said loudly: "There are many contents of Buddhist martial arts, and if you talk about it carefully, you won't be able to finish it in a year and a half." The poor monk is lazy and never prepares a speech, usually asked by others, and I will answer. Therefore, some people gain more, and some people do not, the key depends on the level of everyone's questions. If you want to know something, just ask. ”
Ye Haotian looked at Lan'er, who was full of reverence, and said in a low voice: "You have practiced Buddhist martial arts, but is there any problem? ”
Lan'er shook her head lightly, and said with a smile: "I have too many questions, but unfortunately none of them are the key, and it is a waste of time." Childe is subtle, has unique insights, and can hit the nail on the head, so you should come. ”
Ye Haotian nodded, then looked at Bodhidharma and said, "Master just said that you are only slightly higher in the external appearance, and your Dharma cultivation is not too high. The disciples wanted to know: What is the relationship between Buddhism and martial arts? If we want to practice Buddhism and martial arts, should we concentrate on practicing Buddhism?"
Bodhidharma glanced at him in surprise, shook his head and sighed: "I have been ordered to guard the pass for more than a hundred years, and there are not 1,000 people but 800 people I have seen, and among so many people, only the little benefactor asked about this!"
Then he stood up, circled around a crystal clear lapis lazuli not far from him, and said slowly: "The relationship between Buddhism and martial arts is like this stone. You see, this lapis lazuli has four sides, the front is like a horse, the back is like a cow, the left is like an old man, and the right is a horse Pingchuan. But whatever it looks like, it's what it is, it's just a stone. The essence of Buddhism is the mind of the Buddha, and the essence of martial arts is the Divine Pill, and the mind of the Buddha and the Divine Pill have their own characteristics, and at the same time, they are also interrelated. One of the interrelated aspects is that the Buddha's mind can be transformed into a divine pill, and there are many ways to do so, such as my Pulp Washing Sutra. ”
Speaking of this, the divine light in his eyes flashed across the faces of the two of them, and he said excitedly: "Everyone in the world knows the two meridians of Yi Jin and the two meridians of washing the marrow, but they don't know that the Yi Jin Sutra is a kind of exercise for directly cultivating the divine pill, and the washing of the marrow is the way to transform the Buddha's heart into the divine pill. If you want to learn, I can tell you more about it. ”
Ye Haotian felt that an hour was too short, so he didn't rush to agree to learn the exercises, but continued to ask, "Thank you, Master, for your kindness." The disciple wants to know, in addition to the Pulp Washing Sutra, what other methods are there to transform the Buddha's mind into a divine pill?"
Bodhidharma was surprised to see that he refused to learn the Pulp Cleansing Sutra, and his eyes widened to glare at him, and then he laughed and said: "Why? I can't even look down on my Purifying the Pulp Sutra! You must know that using the Purifying Pulp Sutra to transform the Buddha's mind, although the speed is a little slower, is the easiest and safest method, and as long as you practice diligently, you can cultivate to a high and profound realm! All other exercises require meditation and meditation, and you need to have a relatively high wisdom root, and not everyone can practice it. Even those who have long-cherished wisdom roots must devote themselves to cultivation and reach a certain level of precepts, concentration, and wisdom before they can find the method of transformation!"
Ye Haotian was embarrassed by what he said, and hurriedly found a question to cover it up: "Teacher, some monks have cultivated the precepts, concentration, and wisdom for many years, and their cultivation of Buddhism is not profound, but they still don't have a little martial arts; ”
Bodhidharma stared at him for a long time, until he saw that he was covered in hair, and then reprimanded with a straight face: "These are all common senses of Buddhism, every Buddha cultivator knows, why do you still have doubts? It must be that you are not sincere in chanting the scriptures, or you don't seek to explain everything, to be honest, have you ever practiced Buddhism? How did you get into the Sumeru Sacred Mountain?"
Ye Haotian didn't know what was wrong, thinking about the scriptures he had read, it was true that each book talked about the benefits of cultivating Buddhism, but they were not detailed enough, so that people could guess and guess, and it was difficult to grasp clearly.
He was open-minded and told the truth at the moment: "The disciple is a layman who practices at home, and he knows some Buddhist principles, but he has not practiced seriously, so he is very confused in some places, and he also asks the master for more guidance." ”
Bodhidharma just wanted to see his reaction in the face of criticism, and when he saw his calm appearance at this moment, he felt very satisfied, and a smile appeared on his face again, and said, "It's no wonder you." The Buddhist scriptures are not very thorough, and many people can't understand them after reading them all their lives. In order to understand these problems, one must practice them and truly practice the three methods of precepts, concentration, and wisdom, and the requirements for enlightenment are very high. At this point he paused for a moment, and stopped talking again.
Ye Haotian knew that the following was the key, and he couldn't help but feel itchy, and said, "Ask the master for guidance." ”
Bodhidharma looked at him with a smile, and said slowly almost word by word: "There are many ways to subdue the dragon and subdue the tiger, which can be subdued by force, or attacked by heart. The number of immortal gods is relatively high, the strength is relatively strong, and they like to use swords, but what about our Buddhists? Our main weapon is the Buddha's heart! We can control each other's minds through the Buddha's heart! Many people think that the Buddha's heart is the moral mind, but in fact they are very wrong! What is even more ridiculous is that everyone looks down on the Buddha's heart, and the exchange between the Buddha's heart coin and the Shendan coin has reached the point of 10 to 1, which is simply unreasonable!" After speaking, he shook his head again and again.
Ye Haotian was taken aback when he heard this, and quickly asked, "So the Buddha's heart can also subdue the dragon and subdue the tiger, and it doesn't need to be transformed into a divine pill at all, right?"
Bodhidharma nodded: "People have hearts, and beasts have hearts." The tiger first has the intention of hurting people, and then it can be turned into action. Buddhism's subjugation of the dragon and the tiger starts by changing its heart and surname. Ordinary monks who have cultivated the Dharma in a profound way can directly take the tiger for their own use and make it bow down to their orders; ordinary monks who have insufficient Dharma cultivation can only appropriately restrain the tiger's animal mind, making it slow to move and restrain its hands and feet. The mind of a beast does not only belong to wild beasts, but also to wicked people and devils, and therefore is also subject to the mind of a Buddha. The use of the Buddha's mind can only be performed by us Buddhists, and it is difficult for others to do it. ”
Lan'er felt both novel and excited: "So, as long as the Dharma cultivation is profound, there is no need to cultivate anything else at all? Even martial arts can be dispensed without, right?"
Bodhidharma replied with great certainty: "Yes! The Dharma power of the Buddhas is boundless, and the Bodhisattva saves the suffering and the suffering, relying on a Buddha's heart! Only an Arhat like me, who is not high or low, will practice Buddhism and martial arts on the one hand, and even dig out his mind to create such a small skill of carving insects as the Washing the Pulp Sutra." Speaking of this, he smiled self-deprecatingly, and then said: "However, the power of the Buddha's heart can only be brought into full play when it reaches the state of the Bodhisattva, as a little monk who has just entered the Buddhist sect, it is better to practice some martial arts if you want to save your life! Besides, practicing martial arts and cultivating Buddha are not contradictory, if you are talented and intelligent, it is not impossible for both to cultivate to a very high level at the same time." ”
Lan'er glanced at Ye Haotian and asked for him: "Master, is there anyone who is a Buddha and a Taoist?" That is to say, the Divine Dan Buddha heart goes hand in hand, and the two are not delayed, okay?"
Bodhidharma said with a smile: "It is theoretically feasible, but it is difficult to succeed in two ways." You must know that there are hundreds of millions of people in the world who devote themselves to Buddhahood, and only a few thousand people can eventually become bodhisattvas, which shows that it is difficult to cultivate Buddha. If you use it for two things, I'm afraid it will be even more difficult. ”
Ye Haotian was silent, his heart had already flown to the cultivation of Confucianism.
"Buddhists can use the Buddha's heart to subdue the dragon and subdue the tiger, can Confucianism subdue the evil spirits by virtue of the mighty righteousness? What does the 'sacrosanct and inviolability' mean when people often say that? Does it mean that when the saints possess the righteousness of the Buddha, they have the effect of deterring the demons? So far, the Confucian exercises are not perfect enough, can we develop them from this angle?"
The more he thought about it, the more excited he became, and he listened to Lan'er continue to ask: "Master, you just said that the Buddha's mind is different from the moral mind, and you said that the cultivation of the Buddha's mind is related to the practice of precepts, concentration, and wisdom, I didn't understand these things, could you please elaborate on them again?"
Bodhidharma said: "The Buddha's mind consists of two parts: the eternal compassion of the Buddha practitioner and the spontaneous gratitude of the beneficiary. Ordinary people only know the latter, but they don't know the former. Only those who practice Buddhism have enduring compassion, and compassion is acquired through the practice of precepts, concentration, and wisdom. Monks start with taking vows, and holding precepts for one day will give them more Buddha's heart. When it comes to meditation, the growth of the Buddha's mind in a day can be ten times greater than that of simply taking vows. If you reach the point of 'setting up wisdom', the Buddha's mind accumulated in one day can be accelerated by a hundredfold. At the same time, the Buddha's heart also includes the gratitude of the beneficiary, that is, if the monk cultivates the Buddha while reciting sutras to transcend the dead, or does more good deeds, and receives the incense of the people's sincere dedication, their Buddha's heart will increase faster. ”
Ye Haotian understood when he heard it, and couldn't help but praise it repeatedly: "No wonder there are so many masters of Buddhism, they can go hand in hand with the immortal family, it turns out that the Buddha's heart can be transformed into a divine pill, and it can also directly restrict the beast's heart, so as to achieve the purpose of subduing demons and eliminating demons! Wow! This is the true value of the Buddha's heart! This is the meaning of cultivating Buddha! In fact, cultivating Buddha is the same as cultivating Confucianism, and the precepts, concentration, and wisdom of one's own practice are equivalent to the category of 'inner saint', and using the Buddha's heart to eliminate demons and subdue demons, so as to get the incense of the people, it belongs to the 'outer king' of the Buddhist family!"
Bodhidharma made him confused, and he muttered "Inner Sage and Outer King" twice in his heart, but he didn't know what it was.
Ye Haotian was so excited that he couldn't hold his mouth: "There are thousands of Buddhas, and it seems that they are inseparable from the words 'precepts, concentration, and wisdom'. If you don't keep the precepts, you can't get the determination, and wisdom can't be born. All three are part of the Buddha's mind, with precepts as the foundation, branches and wisdom as flowers and fruits. Once you cultivate wisdom, you can greatly play the role of the Buddha's heart, subjugating dragons and tigers, catching demons and catching demons, and even incarnating into tens of millions, thousands of hands and thousands of eyes, saving suffering and relieving the ......"
Bodhidharma just looked at him with a smile before interrupting him after a long time: "Okay, you have comprehended the mysteries of Buddhism's martial arts, and you can pass the test." You've emptied all the things I've pressed here, and there's nothing to teach!"
Ye Haotian said with a smile: "Master, don't let us go!" The disciple is suddenly interested in washing the marrow and the Yijin Sutra, please pass it on to us!"
Bodhidharma shouted: "Go! Such a good qualification is enough to comprehend the method of meditation, what else do you want me to do with the Purifying Sutra? Hurry up, I want to practice, don't delay my good deeds!"
Ye Haotian was refreshed, and said goodbye with a smile.

Ye Haotian was taken aback, and hurriedly stepped forward and saluted: "The disciple is just a small second-level arhat, how could the Buddha know about my arrival?"
The Bodhisattva smiled and said, "When it comes to the practice of Buddhism, you really have some shortcomings. But as a second-grade immortal, you are deeply appreciated by the five old emperors, and even Nuwa Niangniang is full of praise for you, obviously not an ordinary person. The Buddha told us to keep an eye on your whereabouts, and he was even more happy to learn that you had arrived at Mount Sumeru. ”
Ye Haotian's heart moved: "Obviously, the Buddha also knows that he has the Nine Treasures of Open Heaven and is a disciple of Tianzun, otherwise he would not treat himself so well!"
Thinking of this, he couldn't help but smile and said: "The disciple is working hard to cultivate the Buddha, and he originally wanted to cultivate to the Bodhisattva realm with his own strength, but now he has suddenly been appreciated by the Buddha, which is really a step to the sky." ”

Come, take the bay leaf, this is the necessary magic weapon to pass through the sacred mountain of Sumeru. ”
Ye Haotian handed a bay leaf to Lan'er, and then returned the remaining piece to the Bodhisattva, saying that he already had the bay leaf given by the Yellow Emperor in his hand.
They walked along the Sumeru Buddha Trail all the way, passing through countless beautiful and soft hills, crystal clear lakes, green meadows, and witnessed the gorgeous and colorful Buddha Elysium, strange-shaped temples and pavilions, countless rare birds and beasts, strange flowers and trees, and arhats who were practicing in various postures, and finally came to the east gate of the last pass on the Sumeru Buddha Trail guarded by the Heavenly King.
When he heard that Manjushri had arrived, the king of the kingdom, dressed in white armor and holding a pipa, opened the door to greet him and asked with a smile: "Bodhisattva, I haven't seen you down the mountain for a long time, why are you free today? Are these two disciples? Why are they so young?"
Ye Haotian glanced at the Heavenly King of the Holding Kingdom, and found that he was two feet tall, with broad shoulders and a thick back, and a tiger's back and a bear's waist.
I heard Manjushri laugh and say, "How can I be such a high disciple? These two are rare heroes in the world, especially this young man next to me, don't look at him young, but he is your boss!"
Ye Haotian didn't understand the meaning of the Bodhisattva's words for a while, but he just smiled and stepped forward to salute, and said very humbly: "In the lower Shenzhouzi, little people, please take care of the Heavenly King." ”
But he saw that the Heavenly King of the Holding Kingdom looked him up and down in surprise, and then bowed deeply and said, "Xiaguan pays a visit to Emperor Haotian!"
Ye Haotian was stunned for a moment when he heard this, and said in his heart: "You are in the Buddha country, do you have the status of a clergy?"
Manjushri seemed to understand what he was thinking, and said with a smile: "The Four Heavenly Kings were originally the patron saints of the Buddha Kingdom, and once they happened to see the Jade Emperor, they slapped people's ass indiscriminately, which made the Jade Emperor happy, and sealed them with the official position of the Four Rank Immortals, and also gave everyone a nasty Taoist name, which were the Southern Growth Heavenly King Demon Liqing, the Career Style; the Western Heavenly Wide-eyed King Demon Lihong, the Career Tune; the Northern Duowen Heavenly King Demon Lishou, the Vocational Rain; and the Eastern Heavenly King Demon Lihai, the Career Shun. ”

Ye Haotian echoed loudly: "That's right. Buddhism and Taoism do not distinguish between each other, and the Heavenly King is the pioneer of the fusion of the two families, which is worth learning from!"
The Heavenly King of the Holding Kingdom was brightened by what he said, and his whole person became fluttery.
Lan'er just pursed her lips and smiled, and at the same time looked up and down at the very tall figure of the Heavenly King, feeling very surprised.
In the midst of laughter, Manjushri led them to the top of Mount Sumeru.
As far as the eye can see, there is an endless green space, in the middle of which there is a huge platform paved with white jade, and in the middle of the platform stands an extremely gorgeous palace held up by gold, silver, glass and crystal. The palace was tall and large, and it seemed to hang in mid-air above the colorful glass and dazzling crystals.
In addition, there are many small palaces on top of the green space, which are probably the places where the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in addition to the Buddha practiced. Each palace is surrounded by all kinds of flowers, such as Tianyu mandala flowers, manshusha flowers, golden flowers, honeysuckle flowers, glazed flowers, treasure flowers, and seven treasure lotuses.
Lan'er was stunned, unable to move her steps.
Ye Haotian stretched out his hand and pulled her, and followed Manjushri Bodhisattva to continue walking.
The two of them were speculating whether they would see the beautiful scenery of the Buddha gathering on the top of the Buddha hall, when they suddenly saw Manjushri stepping over the gold, silver, and glass steps, and walking straight towards a small side hall next to the main hall. When he arrived at the gate of the side hall, he leaned in and looked inside, and at the same time reported in a low voice: "Master, according to your orders, I have brought the Haotian Emperor here." ”
But I heard an incomparably deep voice from the hall: "Please let him in, you stay by the door, don't let the idlers wait within a hundred steps." ”
Manjushri promised a "yes", and then beckoned Ye Haotian and Lan'er to enter, while he honestly guarded the door.
Ye Haotian's heart was a little nervous, and Lan'er was even more heartbroken, almost out of breath.
They mustered up the courage to enter the door, and saw at a glance that the furnishings in the house were extremely simple, and the elders with big ears were sitting cross-legged on a thick futon, dressed in simple clothes, wearing a robe obliquely, favoring the right shoulder, revealing their hearts, raising their right hand slightly, making a ring between the index finger and the big finger, and the remaining three fingers were slightly extended, and his expression was upright and gentle, as if he was ready to speak.
Lan'er was anxious to kneel down on her knees and come forward to worship, but she couldn't kneel.
Ye Haotian just bowed and saluted: "Disciple to meet the Buddha!"
The Buddha smiled and motioned for them to sit down on the futon not far in front of him, glanced at Ye Haotian, and said, "I finally know why Tianzun handed over the responsibility of managing the world, and he has been gone for hundreds of thousands of years. This burden is too heavy, and the Jade Emperor and I have been picking it up for so many years, but we only feel tired and haggard. Knowing that you were coming, the Jade Emperor preemptively let go and secretly ran out for alchemy. What about me, I want to take it easy, too!"
Ye Haotian was dumbfounded when he heard this, he didn't know if the Buddha was joking or serious, and said in panic at the moment: "The disciple is young and shallow, how can he take on such a heavy responsibility?"
The Buddha smiled and said, "Even my nine-rank lotus platform has been taken, and you still want to evade responsibility? Don't fool me! The lotus platform left in the same place is obviously one size smaller, when I can't see it?"
Ye Haotian has been worried about this matter in his heart, and he doesn't know how to deal with it, but when he heard the Buddha say this, he had no choice but to take out the Jiupin Lotus Table, hold it with both hands and present it, and at the same time think of Xi Shi in the lotus platform, and feel that this move is very inappropriate......
The Buddha didn't reach out to take it, but just glanced at the Jiupin Lotus Platform, then shook his head and said, "This ...... I don't want it! Good boy, I actually used the world's best beauty in the past and present to test my cultivation! Even though I have reached the realm of great nirvana, I don't want to ask for trouble. So, the heavy responsibility of managing the six reincarnations of the world is up to you!"
Ye Haotian was so anxious that he was at a loss, and he didn't choose what to say: "What kind of thing can I do? How can so many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the world listen to my constraints? Don't say that I can't do this work, and I can't take it when I do it! Your four elders are empty, and those who can work hard; I still have to marry a wife and have children to enjoy the joy of the world! Miss Xi Shi will not stay in the lotus platform for a lifetime, after a year and a half, she will come out, and I will return the Jiupin Lotus Platform to you at that time!"
When listening to Ye Haotian talk about marrying a wife and having children, Lan'er suddenly had a sweet feeling in her heart. Like Ye Haotian, she often stands in the position of Confucianism when thinking about problems, and always feels that it is occasionally okay to learn Buddhism and transcend the Tao, and it is a bit too much to abandon everything and immerse yourself in it every day. Confucianism is the study of joining the WTO, which is inseparable from husband and wife, self-cultivation, and family.
The Buddha didn't seem to have heard this kind of thing for a long time, stared at Ye Haotian and looked at the boss for a while, and suddenly made up his mind: "Okay, as long as you can do one thing, let alone a year and a half, it is not impossible for this nine-rank lotus platform to be handed over to you forever." I'm not like the Jade Emperor, and I'm like having no soul without the Imperial Seal of the Prison Heaven. In recent years, the management of the Buddha country has gradually improved, and it is not a big problem without the Jiupin Lotus Platform, not to mention that although the lotus platform on the bottom of the sea is slightly weaker, it is more than enough to be responsible for statistical management. ”
Ye Haotian perked up, thinking that this would be good, I wouldn't have to worry about the separation of the nine treasures. Then he suddenly thought of the crux of the problem, and immediately said with a sad face: "Your old mana is boundless, and your disciples are like the sand of the Ganges, what else can't be solved? If there is, I'm afraid it won't be something I can do." ”
The Buddha smiled and said, "Not necessarily. For example, it is difficult for me to deal with the catastrophe in front of me. Especially that true god, the magic power is still above my great Nirvana Buddha Gong, if you go out of the Sumeru Divine Mountain, even I am not his opponent. If you can help me to lure him to Mount Sumeru, or if I can cut his power in half in some way, I can control his demonic mind with the Great Nirvana and capture him in one fell swoop. ”
Ye Haotian's heart was relieved, and he immediately told the preparations of the five old emperors, together with the Queen Mother's Yunjin Trapped Demon Array, and the Jade Emperor's royal road reincarnation jade burning, and finally asked: "You have so many bodhisattvas under your command, why don't you send a few out to attract the true gods?"
The Buddha's face was as usual, but his voice was slightly lower: "In order to lead him, the Buddha Kingdom has lost more than 20 Bodhisattvas. I know most of what you're talking about, but I'm afraid it may not work out with that. If you want to destroy the true god, unless you can find the world's number one artifact, the Heavenly God Axe, it's up to you!" Speaking of this, he raised his voice again, and said with a smile: "I heard that the Cowherd was half angry with me back then, why can't he see it? When he said this, he looked at Ye Haotian and Lan'er with both eyes, which means that you don't want to be so ridiculous! Give me a good cultivation, how good it is to break off the female sex!
Lan'er was originally very upset about the Cowherd and Weaver Girl, and almost fainted when she heard this, but she didn't dare to reprimand the Buddha directly, so she had to say angrily: "My son-in-law has the whereabouts of the Kaitian God Axe, and he can take it at any time." At that time, under the joint efforts of all immortals and the impact of multiple artifacts in turn, even if he can't kill the true god, he can always reduce most of his skills. At that time, it will be up to you to see the great nirvana of 'color is emptiness, emptiness is color'. At the end of the day, her tone involuntarily became a little heavier.
Ye Haotian's heart moved, and then he asked: "What is Nirvana? The disciple is stupid, and he still asks the Buddha to explain it slightly." ”
The Buddha looked at Lan'er's puffing appearance, smiled slightly, and then replied: "Nirvana refers to 'Nirvana silence', which is just the opposite of 'suffering when there is a leak'. Nirvana is the absence of leakage, the elimination of the causes of suffering. All the causes of impure pollution are extinguished, and only the truth of reality that is seen by pure wisdom remains, and this is nirvana. Nirvana is also the fulfillment of death, which means the most blissful state of eternal silence that has attained the attainment of wisdom and merit. This state of being 'known only to the sages' cannot be measured by the concepts of empirically existing, non-existent, coming, and going, and is an inconceivable state of liberation. ”
These words were said extremely thoroughly, and unconsciously, the injustice in Lan'er's heart gradually disappeared, and she couldn't help asking: "I see! I always thought that Nirvana and Yuan Death refer to death!"
The Buddha continued, "Nirvana, which originally means 'to be blown away,' refers to the Buddha's arrival in the Elysium where there is no birth and death, or the ability to reach Elysium at any time. Nirvana is not the same as death. Many monks die and die and have not attained nirvana, while there are those who have attained nirvana even though they are alive. For example, when I was only 30 years old when I had an epiphany, I reached the state of surplus nirvana, and it was not until I was 80 years old that I reached the state of infinite nirvana, which is the state of great nirvana. ”
Lan'er listened fascinated, and asked again, "Has your old cultivation reached the ultimate level of Buddhism?"
The Buddha shook his head and said, "The cultivation of the Dharma is endless, although they are all great nirvana, my current mana is more than a thousand times stronger than back then." ”
Ye Haotian's mind was racing, and then he asked, "You just mentioned that you used the supreme Dharma of Great Nirvana to control the true god. The disciple wants to know where the mana of Nirvana comes from, and what does it have to do with the cultivation of precepts, concentration, and wisdom?"
The Buddha stared at him with discerning eyes, and said with a slight smile: "You already know, what else do you ask? Nirvana is the continuation of precepts, concentration, and wisdom, and is the ultimate of wisdom." Without the practice of precepts, concentration, and wisdom, there can be no nirvana! The mana of nirvana is far above the three realms of precepts, concentration, and wisdom, and if the mana of the precepts is one, the mana of the set is ten, the mana of wisdom is one hundred, the mana of nirvana is one thousand, and the mana of nirvana in general is ten thousand, or even billion!"
Ye Haotian finally understood the words that Baye Ye said: "A flower and a thought are immeasurable, and the great thousand are all at one end, I will enter the mustard seed and realize the four noble truths to prove nirvana." I couldn't help but sigh with emotion, and praised: "The Dharma of Buddhism is indeed very perfect, and the disciples have been taught! In two days, the Buddhist exchange conference is about to begin, and the gathering of Buddhas must be very spectacular, and the disciples want to stay here for a few days, and then go down the mountain when the conference is over." ”
The Buddha nodded, and then instructed Manjushri who was waiting outside the door: "Give them a set of the Great Nirvana Sutra, and take them down to settle down by the way." ”
Manjushri Bodhisattva whispered, Ye Haotian and Lan'er got up with great emotion and said goodbye.
They walked down the steps paved with gold, silver, glass, and crystal, and came to a palace inscribed "Sumeru Scripture Pavilion" not far away.
Manjushri walked straight over and said to the two people standing by the door, "Ah Da, Ka Ye, is there still a great nirvana sutra? ”
One of the tall and thin men replied: "It's really unfortunate that Medicine Buddha has just taken away two sets, and now only one set is left in the pavilion, what can I do? The forty volumes of the Great Nirvana Sutra will take ten days and a half months to engrave the Sutra overnight." ”
Manjushri looked at Ye Haotian apologetically, spread his hands and said, "Look, this ......"
Ye Haotian was originally a book lover, how could he let go of this rare opportunity, so he said: "When you enter Baoshan, you can't go back empty-handed, can you allow your disciples to go in and have a look?"
But I heard another short and fat man laugh and say: "It's good to say, the books in the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion are meant for everyone to read at will, even if you go inside to read them, day and night, you can read them for as long as you want! ”
Ye Haotian was overjoyed when he heard this, thinking that the time he stayed in Sumeru Divine Mountain was only two or three days, so he turned his head to Manjushri and said, "Disciple wants to enter the Vipassana book, Bodhisattva, you are busy with you, so you won't delay your time." In the end, he didn't forget to ask about the time and place of the Buddhist assembly.
Manjushri understood one by one, and then turned and left.
Ye Haotian walked quickly into the Scripture Pavilion and was overjoyed when he looked at the collection of books.
Lan'er smiled bitterly and shook her head, followed slowly inside, and found a simple book to read.
Today's Ye Haotian is even faster than reading books, and it is no longer at the level of ten lines at a glance or a thousand lines at a glance. He didn't have a book in his hand, he didn't even open his eyes, he just sat cross-legged in the bookshelf, thinking about the appearance of the book, and his divine consciousness automatically scanned it, pouring the contents of the scriptures into his brain one after another. Since he was explained by the Bodhisattvas on his way up the mountain, he was now able to grasp the main points of a book very easily, so he went through all the sutras in just a few hours.
They spent a whole day in the Scripture Pavilion, not purely for reading, but more for speculation.
Necessary thinking is the basis for further learning.
The next day, Ye Haotian saw that Lan'er couldn't stay up, so he took her out for a stroll.
Because the Buddhist conference is about to be held, there are more and more bodhisattvas on the mountain, and from time to time you can see world-famous figures, provoking Lan'er to follow and look at it from a distance, just like a little girl in the countryside suddenly entered the city, there is a feeling of dazzle.
