Some people say that Jin Yong's achievements are higher than Gu Long, and an important reason is that he lived longer than Gu Long, so he had the opportunity to revise his earlier works. Later generations only remember the fine products that have been retouched and processed, and it is easy to throw rough things aside.

Online works are written quickly and lack scrutiny, so most of them are short-lived, and the day they are updated is often a forgotten moment. In order to achieve lasting vitality, it is inseparable from repeated revisions and polishing. Especially for enthusiasts with insufficient skills, revision is an essential process.

Daoyuan Confucian Immortal was the first book I wrote, and when I started writing it, I didn't even have a rough idea, let alone a detailed outline. In addition, his writing skills are not enough, and he doesn't know anything about writing skills, so he conceives the plot with enthusiasm. There are too many shortcomings in what is written in this way, and it has been criticized everywhere, and he was once ridiculed as a flowing water white bone sect immortal master.

The online version of the book was completed in the spring of '05, and the advantages and disadvantages are obvious. With a unique idea and a self-contained system, it was included in the list of the starting point, but I knew that it was just a blank, and it was still far from maturity.

Seeing that another 2 years have passed, Ghost Rain read and read the original manuscript in his spare time, revised it five times before and after, and felt that he had made great progress, so he decided to launch a simplified version and renamed it "Xianyuan".

The reasons for the name change are as follows:

1. The title and content of the article are more appropriate.

"Dao Yuan Confucian Immortals" is to say that the Confucian students who cultivate the Tao and become immortals, the Tao is the means, and the Confucianism is the end. When I started to choose the name, I didn't expect that Buddhism and Demon Gate would be written later, but when I wrote about Confucianism, Taoism, Demons, and Buddhism, the length of the four schools was about the same, so that the words "Daoyuan Confucianism" could not cover all the content. The new title of the book "Immortal Fate" is about the fate of immortals, describing a three-dimensional world, leaving people with room for imagination. Life is like a game, Ye Haotian chose the path of Confucianism, and we can also choose other paths.

2. The new name is easier to understand. Especially for readers who have never read this book, "Xianyuan" is much easier to understand than "Daoyuan Confucian Immortals".

3. The name change is to show the difference of the genuine book.

There are many pirated editions of this book, the text has not been revised, and errors abound. The genuine book has undergone repeated revisions, and has been revised three times by the publishing house, and invited the famous painter Mr. Weng Ziyang to paint, and the layout was formulated by Men Naiting's studio, which was published by the New World Publishing House, which had cultivated Ming Xiaoxi, Jiangnan, Nine Knives, Cangyue, and Xiaolin, from the inside to the outside, the binding is new, the text is elegant, and the production is exquisite, which is very different from piracy.

Now, with the consent of the publisher, Ghost Rain has decided to publish the simplified version of the content online.

It should also be pointed out that the version published here is only a manuscript submitted by Ghost Rain to the publisher, and has not been revised three times by the publisher. Therefore, if you find a typo, it does not mean that there is a typo in the physical book.

This book has a total of 100 chapters and a postscript, about 1.02 million words, divided into 5 volumes, and the ending is a little fuller and more mellow than the traditional version.

In a few months, I will delete all the traditional Chinese editions and keep only the simplified Chinese version of Xianyuan.
