Chapter VII The Book of Martial Arts, the Book of Taoism.
"It turns out that this group of foxes came to invite me, teaching is still secondary, and the most important thing is to classify the books. It will be convenient to read in the future, but I didn't expect to come to Xishan to read for my mother's grave this time to ask for a clean up, but I encountered such a thing. What is the relationship between the woman of the concubine and the fox when she actually took out the red coins in the palace? This matter is confusing, and I don't know whether it is a blessing or a curse. ”
Sorting a collection is a big job.
Many wealthy families have thousands of books, and they have to ask senior readers to divide them into categories.
Although Hong Yi has read too many fox monster notes, most of them are amorous fox girls and talented and beautiful women. But when I really encountered such a thing, I felt that these foxes were not as simple as just reading books and cultivating.
The idea is not simple, and it comes directly from the red money coins in the palace of the Yuan Concubine.
But these are clueless speculations, and the most important thing at the moment is to read. There are so many books, which really makes Hong Yi, who relies on borrowing books and copying books and then reading them, so excited.
"Sir, rest well, these days, if there is nothing to do, you can live in the valley, and all the tea and food will be served by the old man. Tu Lao saw Hong Yi flipping through the books one after another, but nodded with satisfaction.
"Then I'll start sorting the books tonight. Hong Yi said.
"Okay, Xiaosang, Xiaofei, Xiaoshu, make supper refreshments for Mr. ”
"Chirp, chirp. Several cheerful cries of foxes came from outside.
"The old man wants to meditate and recuperate his homework, and if the gentleman wants anything, he will give him a direct command. The children outside can't speak yet, but they can understand the language. ”
After Tu Lao's advice, he staggered out.
Hong Yi's attention at this time was all on the books in the stone room, and as soon as Tu Lao, the fox, left, he immediately walked around the room, his eyes patrolling the books he was interested in.
"The books in this stone room are really complete, especially about martial arts and boxing, as well as Taoist books on cultivation. ”
About half an hour later, Hong Yi took a cursory walk around the entire stone room, and found that a large part of the books in this stone room were martial arts and boxing, and the rest were Taoist books of cultivation, which was really vast.
"Huh? There are actually two big books, "Wujing" and "Tao Jing", these two big books, I have been favoring them for a long time, and I have wanted to read them for a long time, but I have not been able to find them, and I can't borrow them. ”
Hong Yi was flipping through the bookshelf, and suddenly, he saw two large books in a prominent position on the bookshelf of Zhengzhōngyāng, one of which was the "Book of Martial Arts" and the other was the "Book of Dao".
Both books are a large volume, and each one has dozens of thick volumes.
After Hong Yi saw it, he pounced on it as if he had found a treasure. For these two big books, he has been wanting to read them for a long time.
Both of these books were compiled at the time of the founding of the Great Qian Dynasty.
"The Book of Martial Arts" is a book compiled by the world's martial arts.
"Tao Jing" is a book of cultivation compiled by collecting the world's Taoist books.
Hong Yi has read the notes of many readers, and once described in detail the situation when these two books were compiled: the Daqian Dynasty collected books from all over the world and filled the entire country's library, and at the same time compiled thousands of people, including major martial arts masters, Taoism Taishang Dao, Zhengyi, Fang Xiandao, and some leaders of Buddhism participated in it.
It is a pity that not a few years after the compilation of these two books, the Daqian Dynasty immediately banned the engraving, and at the same time collected the books that had already been published from the people and burned them in one fell swoop.
Subsequently, under the slogan of "upholding people's hearts and abandoning heresies," the Daqian Dynasty repeatedly collected books on folk temples and overhauled classics. But there are no more books such as "Wujing" and "Tao Jing", and all of them are scriptures and meanings such as benevolence, righteousness, etiquette, righteousness and loyalty.
And the Taoist books and martial arts books collected by the people were all burned.
Moreover, the Daqian Dynasty ordered again that it was strictly forbidden for people to practice boxing privately, and strictly controlled the temples and Taoist temples in the world. Twenty years ago, after the army destroyed the Great Chan Temple, the control of the civil armed forces of the Great Qian Dynasty reached a peak period.
However, although the Daqian Dynasty forbade private practice of boxing, it encouraged the royal nobles and clans to practice martial arts and ride shè. At the same time, a "martial arts hall" was opened in the army.
There is a strict hierarchy of martial arts in the "Lecture on Martial Arts", which is even stricter than the imperial examination. It is a way for martial arts practitioners to be promoted.
Hong Yidu has read a little about this series of methods in some reading notes, but he is not clear about the specific things about "speaking martial arts" in the army.
"The means of suppressing military attachés with scholars and doctors, but secretly cultivating military attachés to preserve the country's armed forces, collecting books from all over the world, revising classics, controlling the armed forces in their own hands, prohibiting civilian armed forces, and developing official armed forces, are really turning clouds and rain. ”
Hong Yi looked at the two books and felt a lot of emotion in his heart.
These two are not so easy to see, the Daqian Dynasty has laws, copying, engraving the martial scriptures, the Taoist scriptures, at least the whole family into the army, exiled for 3,000 miles, or the worst is the head.
Hong Yi has been fond of these two books for a long time, but with his identity, it is impossible to see them.
If he collects these two books, in the Hou Mansion, he will be caught by Mrs. Zhao immediately, and it will be troublesome.
"A scholar can't be helpless. Since there is a martial arts scripture here, I have to read it carefully and find one or two self-cultivation techniques. ”
With such thoughts, Hong Yi opened the "Martial Classics".
At the beginning of the martial arts, it is said: The ultimate martial arts is to strengthen the body, transcend life and death, and never kill and be strong. The world is like a sea of suffering, and the flesh is like a raft across the sea. If the body is strong, it can carry people to the other side of the bitter sea.
"Hmm, martial arts is transcendent from life and death, so what is immortal art for?"
Hong Yi thought in his heart and opened the Taoist scripture again.
The Tao Sutra begins with the saying: The world is like a sea of suffering, and the human body is like a raft across the sea, but the sea of suffering is boundless, and the raft will eventually decay, and only if the soul is strong, you can abandon the raft and swim to the other side of the sea of suffering with your own strength.
"So that's the case, two different cultivation principles. But it all makes sense. ”
Hong Yi is a reader, so it is naturally easy to understand what the words of the book mean.
After reading the beginning of martial arts and Taoist scriptures, he finally had a clear understanding of the two cultivation methods of martial arts and immortal arts.
The ultimate goal of both is to transcend life and death.
The world is a vast ocean.
People live in the world, ** are like ships crossing the sea, and the thoughts of the gods are the people in the boat.
Martial arts is about cultivating the physical body, which is strong and can carry people through the sea of suffering safely.
The immortal arts, on the other hand, pay attention to the boundless sea of suffering, and the body of the ship will eventually decay, so it is better to directly cultivate the divine soul, as if it is to let people pass through the water, so that even if the ship is destroyed, people will not drown.
Hong Yi looked at it again, compared the two, and found that the cultivation of martial arts is divided into seven levels: flesh training, tendon training, membrane training, bone training, visceral training, marrow training, and blood exchange.
In the Martial Classics, these seven levels are described in detail.
Meat training: As the foundation of martial arts, the whole body is trained to be strong and full, responsive, and can be besieged by two or three people. The "lecture martial arts" in the army of the Great Qian Dynasty called such a level "Wusheng".
Tendon training: The whole body tendons are strong in expansion and contraction, fierce in explosive power, agile in the body, and can defeat six or seven people, such people are called "martial apprentices" in the army.
Membrane training: The whole body membrane is strong, resists the blow, and with a force, the human skin is as tough as cowhide, and it can be defeated by more than ten people, so it is called "samurai".
Bone training: The bones of the whole body are hard, the penetration force is strong, the body is more agile, the resistance is stronger, and it can defeat dozens of people. Such people are called "martial artists".
Practicing the internal organs: through breathing and breathing, the internal organs are strong, the breathing is continuous and far-reaching, the physical strength is long, and the ability is almost 100 people. Walking fast like a galloping horse, jumping agile like a bird, called "innate martial artist".
Practice: The cultivation of boxing martial arts has penetrated deep into the bone marrow. Such a person is called a great master.
Exchange of blood: After the bone marrow is strong, after entering the cultivation, the blood of the whole body is renewed, the so-called training of the marrow is like frost, and the practice of blood mercury slurry. Reborn, cut the hair and wash the marrow. Such a person can be defeated by hundreds. He is a martial saint.
"Martial arts, martial apprentices, warriors, martial artists, congenital, great grandmasters, martial saints! What a detailed division, I don't know if it is the same as the division of the imperial examination? But it is unknown to the reader. There are even estimates of how many enemies there are. It seems that it has been strictly drilled in the army. However, even if he is a martial saint, he still can't seem to transcend life and death, and he seems to have a feeling of unfinished. Hong Yi couldn't get enough of it. At the same time, an inexplicable fear arose in my heart.
It was the fear of the Great Qian Dynasty's control over human force to a certain extent.
Such a powerful system of force control.
A promotion path that is more rigorous than the imperial examination.
Hong Yi knew that the ten enemies and the hundred enemies inside were not ordinary people, but trained soldiers. After reading the beginning of the "Book of Martial Arts", Hong Yi finally understood how strict the Daqian Dynasty was in controlling the armed forces and how much effort it spent!
"Huh?" Hong Yi read and read, and suddenly found that there were annotations in the sandwich lines of the main text of the Wujing. Apparently it was added by the people who read the books themselves.
"Practicing martial arts is not clear, after all, you can't sanctify the body, and you can't understand the mystery of the body, one of the acupoints of the body, such as the stars in the sky, the gods of heaven and earth live in it, if someone can understand the cultivation of the stars in the sky, then the gestures, the power is endless, the dragon throws the elephant, such as the Taoist Yang God's fusion of the gods of detachment, to achieve the realm of human immortals. Yinyue Zen Master in the 30th year of the founding of the Great Qian Dynasty Mid-Autumn FestivalNote. ”
Obviously, this passage is obviously annotated by a monk named Yinyue Zen Master of the Great Zen Temple.
The meaning of this passage is not profound, it means that the human body, in addition to the flesh, tendons, membranes, bones, internal organs, marrow, blood, there are many acupuncture points, such as the stars in the sky, the gods live in it, after cultivating these acupuncture points, you can move your hands and feet, there is infinite power, the flesh is really immortal, it is a human immortal!
"Human Immortals!"
"The highest level of martial arts is a human immortal?"
Hong Yi looked at this annotation and thought to himself: "When my father Wu Wenhou was young, he once opened nine stones to attack Lian Shi, I don't know what kind of realm it is?"
"It seems that I am going to practice martial arts. It is not a good situation for scholars who have no power to tie the chicken, although the civil officials of our Great Qian Dynasty control the government, but to really be knighted, you have to rely on military exploits. If I learn martial arts, pass the Jinshi examination, and then go to the army, then my status will be high, if I make military achievements and be knighted, then my mother's title is not only a lady, but a king...... The status is far higher than that of Mrs. Zhao......"
After Hong Yi read the beginning of the martial arts, he remembered to practice martial arts again.
In fact, Hong Yi didn't want to practice martial arts, but he really didn't have that condition, and he couldn't afford to hire a martial arts teacher, and he didn't have the money to buy a bow horse to practice riding shè.
Fortunately, now that the imperial examination has been canceled, he would have had no chance to stand out in the best part of his life.
However, he knew that if he practiced martial arts well, passed the Jinshi examination, and was both civil and military, after entering the military system of the Daqian Dynasty, his status would be very high, and if he made military exploits, he would be awarded the title, and if he was lucky, his mother's title would be named "Jun" by the imperial court.
The status of the "feudal monarch" is much higher than that of the "lady". It is the highest title given by the imperial court to the honor of the wealthy family.
In the Wuwen Waiting Mansion, only the dead Mrs. Hong, Hong Xuanji's mother, is the "Ci'an Jun".
"I must fight for the highest status for my mother. However, the cultivation of martial arts is not an overnight thing, and it is not in a hurry, let's take a look at the cultivation of the immortal soul first. I don't know what the difference is?"
Hong Yi opened the Taoist Sutra again.
Sure enough, as the old fox said, the cultivation in the Taoist Sutra is divided into ten levels, for the concentration of the gods, out of the shell, night travel, rì travel, exorcism, manifestation, possession, seizure, thunder, and yang god.
