Jubao Mountain in the south of Nanjing, there are banyan trees, metasequoia, cedar and so on under the mountain, lush and swaying, dignified and dignified; there are green pines, ginkgo biloba, Xiu bamboo, green cypress, etc. on the mountain, the branches are luxuriant, lush and lush, give people a sense of silence and elegance, stand on the Jubao Mountain, look to the north, the prosperous scene of Nanjing City is in full view, presumably in the Jinling City in the Tang Dynasty, it should be bright and green, there are also wine shops and inns on the outskirts of the city, and on the mountains everywhere, the temples stand in a forest, therefore, the poet Du Mu at that time stood on the Jubao Mountain, climbed high and looked out, and could write the famous " Jiangnan Spring Quatrain": "Thousands of miles of warblers cry green and red, and the water village mountain Guo wine flag wind." There are 480 temples in the Southern Dynasties, and how many buildings are in the smoke and rain. ”

Jing'an Temple is located in a piece of green pine and cypress in Jubao Mountain, night falls, Jubao Mountain is like a light mist, the figure of green pine and cypress begins to blur, the silent Jing'an Temple appears more deep and mysterious, only the ancient temple leads to the road under the mountain, vaguely revealing its winding posture, on the hill next to Jing'an Temple, there is a masked man sitting on the side of the rock towards the ancient temple to observe, he patiently observed for two hours, to the dusk, he walked down the hill softly, quietly sneaked into the Jing'an Temple, there was silence around the ancient temple, only the main hall of the temple came from a very light sound of wooden fish, after a while, the sound of wooden fish also stopped, and the masked man flew over the wall lightlyEntering the large courtyard at the entrance of the ancient temple, he leaned under the Bodhi tree, quietly looked around, only to see that the courtyard was empty, he walked along the wall, there were three doors in front, and he flashed in through the door on the right.

This is the "Heavenly King Palace" in front of the Daxiong Treasure Palace, there is a Maitreya Bodhisattva sitting on the middle stage with a big belly, the masked man likes the smiling Buddha very much, and he also pretends to be a naughty smile, there are two majestic generals on both sides of the front of the Maitreya Buddha, they are on behalf of the earth, water, fire, The four heavenly kings of the wind, behind the Maitreya Buddha, there is a majestic general wearing golden armor, he is the protector warrior Veda Bodhisattva, Maitreya always smiles to welcome guests, but Veda is pressed on the vajra with both hands, looking at the courtyard in front of the Mahavira Hall, the masked man thought: "The front and back doors here are open, obviously there will be no secret objects hidden." ”

The masked man walked out of the back door of the "Heavenly King Palace", walked along the courtyard wall to the inside, he walked into the Arhat Hall on the right, there are nine Arhats here, which shows that there is an Arhat Hall on the left, before the "Eighteen Arhats" are formed, and then the glimmer of incense, the masked man can vaguely see that the Arhats showed a very strange expression to him, and he was a little stunned, thinking to himself: "Don't look at me so weirdly, I'm just here to see, don't do bad things, don't get along with me!"

The masked man came out of the Arhat Hall, looked in from the window next to the door of the Mahavira Hall, there was only the Bodhisattva inside, no one, and he gently sneaked into the main hall.

In the center of the Buddha shrine in the main hall is the statue of Shakyamuni, there is a "backlight" behind the Buddha statue: auspicious clouds float up, and there is a "treasure cover" on the Buddha statue, that is, a round umbrella cover, it is said that its meaning is "the Buddha walks that walks, and the Buddha lives that lives".

In front of the Buddha statue, there is a "banner gate", that is, a square big curtain tent, embroidered with flying heaven, lotus flower or rare birds, etc., in front of the "banner gate" when hanging "everlasting lamp", "everlasting lamp" below, there is a long incense case in front, and there is a square offering platform in the back.

There are "five bodies" on the long incense table, that is, an incense burner, two vases, and two candlesticks, and the square offering table is placed with "six offerings", that is, flowers, incense, water, incense, food, and lamps, which respectively represent the "six degrees" of generosity, precepts, forbearance, diligence, meditation, and wisdom.

In the light of the "Changming Lantern", the Buddha Shakyamuni seemed to be staring at the masked man, the masked man was a little panicked, hurriedly lit three incense, respectfully knelt on the lotus mat, bowed three times with his palms together, and read in his heart: "Amitabha, the Buddha blesses, the disciple just comes to visit, never disturbs the Buddhist temple, and the items related to the Buddha, the disciple will never touch them, please rest assured!" He thought to himself: "If there is really a secret book, and it has nothing to do with the Buddha, it can be moved." ”

Late at night, in the eyes of the masked man, the Shakyamuni in the main hall is not kind, but very majestic, perhaps, the masked man felt a little guilty in his heart, he looked around again, embarrassed to rummage through the animals, and thought: "There are many pilgrims in this hall during the day, and there are treasures that will not be hidden here." ”

The masked man went out of the main hall, went around to the back, only to see that there was a "three temples", the hall enshrined three Bodhisattvas, in the middle is Amitabha Buddha, on both sides are the Great Trend to the Bodhisattva and Guanyin Bodhisattva, here is simpler than the layout of the Daxiong Treasure Hall, he looked at it, and came out.

The masked man walked to the back, it was the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion and the meditation hall, the meditation hall was a place for monks to sit and meditate, he was afraid that there were people inside, he gently walked over and looked through the window, there was no one inside, and there were no tables and cabinets to hide items, etc., he didn't want to go in, so he went back, leaned on the door of the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion and listened carefully, there was no movement inside, he gently pushed the door, the door was hidden, he pushed the door open, flashed in, what made him feel strange was that there was a candle lit on the middle of the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, he was puzzled:" Why is there still candles lit in the middle of the night, isn't the place where the books are stored afraid of fire? Could it be that the library also needs to have a 'constant light'?"

He looked around, only to see a monk sitting on a lotus platform, with his hands together, sitting and meditating, he was startled, and thought: "This time I was planted, I was caught!" He didn't know what to say, he was stunned, stared at the monk, only to see the monk sitting motionless, listening carefully, there was no sound of breathing.

He suddenly realized, it turned out that this was a statue, probably used to encourage monks to read and practice, he walked over, knelt down towards the "statue", bowed, and said in a soft voice: "The senior monk master is above, the disciple is courteous here, just now I bowed to the Buddha three times, I will bow to you, so that it is etiquette, the disciple visits your temple late at night, disturbing your practice, please forgive me! You are in this scripture pavilion every day, you must be very knowledgeable, just bless the disciple can also be erudite, the disciple will be grateful!" This time the disciple came here, it is really by the order of the head of the house, and he has to do it as a last resort, but the disciple assures you that he will never offend your temple and will not touch the objects in the temple, this time he will come, the disciple will browse the collection of books in the pavilion, please raise your noble hand, and give it a convenience!" After the masked man knelt down, he went around looking through the scriptures on the bookcase, there were many scriptures, he had to flip through those well-packaged books and those very old books, he saw that there was a scripture book hidden in a particularly delicate camphor wooden box, so he took it out and looked at it, only to see that the title of the book was "The Theory of Shamen Disrespecting the King" There are five articles in the book, namely, "at home", "monks", "seeking religion without Hue", "the body is extremely incompatible", and "the form is immortal", the article believes that Shamen can not practice worldly rituals and should be detached from the world;
