Originally, Zhao Xuan hadn't thought about this problem, he had always thought that this was a fictional world, although there was a strong sense of substitution, it was difficult to treat this place as real. But after the battle, he actually had a "sense of belonging" here, and it was this sense of belonging that put him in a dilemma.

If you choose to "conform to the destiny of heaven", do nothing, and let events develop, it means that you have to watch a tragedy happen.

But if you want to choose "change your life against the sky", you can do whatever you want. Not to mention that after the plot changes, his identity as a "prophet" will never return, even the consequences of "going against the sky" are not something he can bear!

The devil knows if the Heavenly Dao of this world will do something to him!

Wu Wei, or Leisure, these two arguments, which originally coexisted in Taoism, were polarized at this time, leaving Zhao Xuan at no idea where to go.

Is it to cater to Lao Tzu's advocacy of "quiet and inaction, the Tao is natural", or is it Zhuangzi's advocacy of "attaining self-forgetfulness and being at ease"?

Suddenly, another school of Taoism, the Yang Zhu school, had such theories as "noble oneself," "for me," and "rebirth of light things" surged into his heart.

"Mencius Teng Wengong" chapter cloud: "The words of Yang Zhu and Mo Zhai are all over the world, and the words of the world are not attributed to Yang, that is, to Mo." ”

Yang Zi takes "for me", plucks a hair and benefits the world, not for it; Mozi also loves, puts his heel on the top, and benefits the world for it.

In fact, Yang Zhu's "plucking a hair and benefiting the world is not for nothing" is not simply selfish, but has its own era.

In the late Spring and Autumn Period and the early and middle Warring States periods, "Confucius advocated" that "the whole world was advocated"; while the princes quarreled, invaded each other, and suffered for the sake of profit, and the king's life led to the light death of his subjects. Yang Zhu cynically advocated the saying of "noble self": "The ancients did not benefit the world at the slightest loss, and they did not take it. No one loses a single bit, everyone is not good for the world, and the world is governed. Among them, it starts from "honoring oneself" and "being born again". The so-called "on life and death, light on wealth", and rebirth is light on profit. Only when everyone governs the country and values themselves and does not infringe on each other, everyone respects and loves himself and does not "take life and death lightly"; and is indifferent to fame and fortune, and "does not get along with the world" and "does not take the world," can everyone be in peace with each other and bring the world to justice.

Confucianism says that "if you are poor, you will be good to yourself, and if you are good, you will help the world", and Yang Zhu's "noble self" is a higher level.

As long as everyone is "good to themselves", self-esteem and self-love, who needs anyone to "help the world"?

Zhao Xuan suddenly thought of the words in the "Tao Te Ching": "The great road is wasted, there is benevolence and righteousness, wisdom comes out, there is great hypocrisy, there is discord between the six relatives, there is filial piety, the country is chaotic, there are loyal ministers." Isn't it the indirectness that proves this?

Only when morality is abolished can there be a need to promote benevolence and righteousness; when the phenomenon of wisdom and ingenuity appears, can hypocrisy prevail for a while; when there is a dispute in the family, can filial piety and kindness be displayed; and when the country is in chaos, can loyal ministers be seen.

Therefore, what the society lacks will be promoted, and what the society lacks can be highlighted.

In today's society, the emphasis on law and the promotion of benevolence and righteousness have actually proved that this society is morally degraded and lacks humanity.

That's why there is a saying that "the saint abandons wisdom, the people benefit a hundredfold, the benevolence abandons righteousness, the people restore filial piety, and the ingenuity abandons profit, and there are no thieves".

Only if we do not advertise any "saints" and "help the world", people will not compare. In terms of filial piety, the crow feeds back, and there is no need to show filial piety, but to give back to his own duty. However, if the maintenance for the purpose of focusing on filial piety makes people compare and become a trend, eventually some people will not be able to meet the so-called filial piety, so they will give up maintenance. This is the distinction between filial piety and unfilial piety.

Precisely:

If the saint dies, the thief cannot afford it, and the world is peaceful for no reason.

If the saint does not die, the thief will not stop!
