Chapter 5 Facing the Wall

Chapter 5: Facing the Wall

As soon as Wang Sheng left, he laughed twice when he was in Zen, his eyes flashed and he looked left and right, and suddenly raised his head to look at the white clouds in the sky as if he had found something strange, and blinked his eyes and said, "Oh, senior brother, it's so good to look at this weather!"

Liao Zhen looked at the oil stains on Zen's sleeve and said, "Amitabha, junior brother's fat chicken and grilled fish are very greasy!"

Zen tried to get away with it, so he smiled and said, "It's okay, senior brother, I don't mind." ”

He said angrily: "You don't mind, I mind, look at what you have done? Tell me, where do you still look like a monk?"

Liao Chan pointed to his bald head and said, "There is a monk here......

It really doesn't make sense.

His nose was about to be crooked by Zen Qi, and when he turned on a face, he said angrily: "Senior brother, is this the result of your cultivation here? I think you are going to enter the Demon Dao!"

Zen couldn't help but be embarrassed, he didn't feel that there was anything wrong with what he was doing, the Buddha also ate meat, and the gods and Buddhas all ate meat, and they were all at the top of the food chain. But in the eyes of the truth, it was very inappropriate, as if he had become an evil demon.

The idea of Zen is different from the idea of truth, and it always makes him feel angry. But Elder Zhizhen was not surprised, because the Elder's cultivation was already very high.

In fact, there are some things that the shallower the realm, the more people can't see them, but when they reach the realm, they will naturally see them.

The immortal road is the way, the demon road is the way, the demon road is the way, the Buddha is also the way, the way is different, but the road to the other side of the sea of suffering is different.

What is an immortal, what is a demon, what is a demon, what is a Buddha? The path is different, but the people who have passed through the sea of suffering to reach the other shore are different.

No matter what the Tao is, it's just a way, a process. As long as you keep your heart, you are still yourself, not an immortal, not a demon, not a demon, not a Buddha.

Seeing that the senior brother was really angry, his heart was shaken, and he quickly leaned over and bowed his head, and said, "Senior brother, senior brother knows that he is wrong." At this time, Zen hurriedly softened, sometimes if he didn't fight, maybe it was better than fighting, after all, if he didn't fight, he could still extinguish a real fire and retain the relationship between the two.

When Zhen heard this, his face was slightly better, and his attitude was very good, so Zhen Zhen snorted coldly and said, "Since you know that you are wrong, you are right, this is very good." But the country has national laws, and temples have temple rules, and I still have to punish you!"

Zen said honestly: "Yes." ”

"Since the junior brother has broken the vows, then go to retreat for three days and reflect on it!"

Zen clasped his hands together and said, "Yes, senior brother." After saying that, Zen said: "Senior brother, this Wang Sheng is Wang Cheng under the mountain, Wang Ziming?"

"Exactly, has he seen you?" I see you as if he had seen him. ”

Zen said: "I just saw it today. After that, he told Wang Sheng about asking him about the whereabouts of the beauty.

Hearing this, he couldn't help but wonder: "Oh, there are only deep mountains and dense forests in the mountains behind our Lanruo Temple, and there are no traces, where will there be beauties?" This is to avoid suspicion, if people think that there are beauties hidden in the temple, then the monks in Lanruo Temple are really going to be ruined.

It's just that I really wonder that this Lanruo Temple is already inaccessible, not to mention the back mountain of Lanruo Temple, there are only monk activities here, how can there be a woman entering the back mountain?

Thinking of this, it's really hard to look at it, how can the pure place of Buddhism become such a dirty place?

Seeing that Zhen's face was cloudy, he asked, "Senior brother, what is this Wang Sheng doing with his wife?"

The truth said: "It's here to stop the spirit." ”

In ancient times, people did not practice cremation, but after the death of the deceased, the spirit should be stopped, and the spirit was an unfortunate thing, so it was mostly placed in Taoist temples or temples.

After really explaining the Zen, it became clear that it was Wang Sheng's uncle who died, because his uncle and husband died early, and there were no descendants, so Wang Sheng and his wife Chen came to stop the spirit. Knowing the cause and effect of this, Zen was driven to the wall by Zhenzhen.

On the north side of the temple, there is not only a poplar tree, but also a large hall, because there is a barren mound outside, so there is no one living in the north room. So this was used as a room for the soul, and only one large hall was empty, and Zen went to this wall.

There is a statue of Zhigong in the main hall. On both sides of the wall are beautiful and fantastical murals with lifelike figures. There is a statue of Zhigong in the temple, because although Lanruo Temple was built by Elder Zhizhen, it was originally a temple of Zhigong.

Zhigong Zen Master is the monk Baozhi, a monk in the Qi and Liang periods of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the legend is that he can not burn with fire and water, snakes and tigers can not be feared, everyone contended to ask for good and evil, and all the words were true, so he called him "the monk".

According to the "Baohua Mountain Chronicles": one day, the local woman Zhu "heard the cry of the ancient wood eagle's nest, and the ladder tree got it, and raised it as a son." The face is square, clear as a mirror, and the hands and feet are bird claws. When he was seven years old, Baozhi's parents sent him to Daolin Temple in Nanjing, where he became a monk with Fajian, "practicing meditation and sitting for more than ten years." It can be seen that this is a good monk who follows the rules very well.

Bao Zhi practiced for forty or fifty years, but he was always unknown, and the people of the time were "unknown". At the beginning of the Liu Song Dynasty, he was suddenly like a secluded place, unsettled, eating and drinking, often wearing hair and bare feet, holding a tin staff with knives and rulers and other things, swaggering through the market, and interacting with emperors and nobles. Emperor Wu of Qi was imprisoned for confusing the public, but Prince Wenhui brought food to him. When Emperor Wu of Liang arrived, he was "especially respectful" and let him enter and leave the palace. It is reported that he once washed his eyes for Prince Zhaoming, who repaired the "Anthology", and the east and west Tianmu Mountains in Zhejiang were named after this.

"Dancing with wide sleeves, like a bird coming from the east", this is to describe the wide sleeves stitched by the sea green in Buddhist legal clothes. It is said that the stitching of the wide sleeves is the masterpiece of Zen Master Baoshi. Emperor Wu of Liang believed in Buddhism and piety, but his wife Xi was jealous by nature and did not believe in Buddhism. One day, Xi prepared a lot of meat buns and invited Zen Master Baozhi and his disciples to come and make offerings, thinking, "If the monks eat meat buns, they will break the precepts, and if they refuse not to eat them, they will disobey the decree." "I want to trap the monks in a dilemma. Zen Master Baozhi had already known that Xi had bad intentions, and before leaving, he asked the monks to sew the cuffs of Haiqing's wide sleeves, and the steamed buns were hidden in the sleeves. When entering the palace to make offerings, he put the buns into the empty sleeve with one hand and took out the steamed buns with the other hand to eat, which finally made Xi's trick unable to succeed.

The custom of striking the bell in the temple, which has been passed down for thousands of years, also began in Baozhi. Once, Emperor Wu of Liang asked Bao Zhi how to relieve the pain in hell, and Bao Zhi replied: "Only when you hear the bell, its suffering will rest for a while", so Emperor Wu of Liang issued an edict to ring the bell in the temples of the world. At the beginning of his reign, Emperor Wu of Liang adopted the law of severe punishment to govern the country, and Bao Zhigong used his divine power to let Emperor Wu of Liang personally see the shocking and tragic situation of the first king suffering underground, and finally abolished the punishment of the taper knife.

Therefore, this Zhigong not only has profound mana, but also has immeasurable merits, and is a monk with deep cultivation. Legend has it that he finally attained the right fruit, and the sun soared to the sky, so that many people were willing to worship him.
