Zhou Botong is Wang Chongyang's junior brother and named him the elder of Taishang. At present, he has the most honorable position in the Quanzhen Sect, but he does not receive a real position.
Below the elders, there are deacons who manage other specific affairs, mainly the current three generations of disciples. In the case of insufficient manpower, it will be supplemented by those who can do it among the four generations of disciples.
The following ordinary disciples are also divided into formal disciples and registered disciples, and the formal disciples are those who are officially initiated. In this way, when dealing with the academic affairs of a large region, it will be very cumbersome, and the branches and Taoist temples in various places are not subordinate to each other, and the efficiency of work is not high.
Just like Yin Zhiping's previous transfer of some Quanzhen disciples from the Shandong Diocese to the south to support his southern mission, the branches and Taoist temples in Shandong had to consult and discuss with each other for a long time, and it was very inefficient.
