"All sentient beings, from beginninglessness, continue to live and die, all by not knowing the abiding true heart. The body is pure and clear, and all kinds of delusions are used, which is not true, so there is reincarnation. If you want to study the supreme bodhi, you should be honest with my heart when you want to study the supreme bodhi, and you should be honest with my questions. If the ten directions come, the same way, out of life and death, all with a straight heart, straight heart, such as the end of the position, there will never be any twists in the middle. ”

The old monk is talking about the "Lengyan Sutra", the full name of the Lengyan Sutra is "The Great Buddha Peak Rulai Miyin Cultivated the Righteous Bodhisattvas and Ten Thousand Lines of the First Lengyan Sutra".

Zen looked at the golden gold, the corners of his mouth smiled, still unmoved, just yellow and white things to him, like dung, full of dirt, is unattractive, how can he be tempted?

Then there was another messenger in golden armor, whose face was as black as lacquer, and carried a mallet around his chains. He came to Zen and threatened, "Where are you from? Go away, there are no outsiders here." ”

Zen stood there like a Buddha statue, unmoved. Suddenly, the golden armor envoy was very angry, staring at Zen like an osprey, but Zen was still indifferent, using might to intimidate, how could he be afraid?

Zen does not fight, ignores him, endures him, avoids him, deals with it calmly, and looks at him again.

Sure enough, the golden-armored messenger was helpless, and when he looked at Zen's eyes and eyes, he was about to hit him with a mallet, when an old man came over and said, "Hurry up and stop, how can you be so rude." ”

When the golden armor envoy saw the old man, he suddenly said respectfully: "Yes, elder." ”

At this time, the old man reprimanded the envoy of the golden armor, and said very eagerly to Zen: "Your honor, forgive me, he is a rough person who does not know how to be polite. After that, the old man said to himself: "The old man has never been such a upright person as you, you have the character of a sage, we are very in awe, we have no emperor here, we are willing to listen to you, we want you to be the emperor here to educate us, we are willing to build the most gorgeous palace for you, offer the most beautiful beauty, serve delicious food, the most exquisite silk, the most mellow wine, please be sure to agree." ”

After saying that, the old man knelt down and said, "Please Your Majesty ascend the throne!"

The golden-armored envoy beside him also knelt down and said, "Please ascend the throne Your Majesty!"

When the other people around saw it, they also knelt down on the ground and said, "Please ascend the throne Your Majesty!"

Unmoved, he raised his head and looked into the distance, only to see that the old monk was still sitting there faintly.

The corners of Zen's mouth smiled, ignoring everyone, how could the enjoyment of rights make him excited?

Money, power, women, and other obstacles are not moved by Zen, since it is a passing cloud, let him all go with the wind.

Should a man subdue his heart?

The Buddha said, "All sentient beings and the like: if they are oviparous, if they are viviparous, if they are wet, if they are incarnated, if they are colored, if they are colorless, if they are not thinking, if they are not thinking, they are all extinguished." If it is the destruction of immeasurable and countless boundless sentient beings, there are no sentient beings who have attained extinction. If a bodhisattva has the appearance of self, the appearance of people, the appearance of sentient beings, and the appearance of a long-lived being, he is not a bodhisattva. ”

He knew that all this was an illusion, and that illusion was born from the heart, and that people with lustful intentions were born in the realm of profanity, and that people with blasphemy were born in a state of fear. The Bodhisattva ignites the ignorance, and a thousand illusions are combined, but all illusions are actually generated by the human heart, and nothing else. The previous masters left a test with a hard mouth, and wanted to be stupid, but now Zen has this opportunity to quietly break the mechanism, how can the master waste a lot of hard work.

The Tao does not preach non-people, and the law does not preach six ears.

The Dharma cannot be passed on to those who are not in the right place or the causes, but only to those who are behind the roots, and the Dharma is only transmitted to those who are destined for it, and even if there are many people present, the true Dharma is only transmitted to the legal person and the recipient, and it is not permissible for a third party to know the Tao at will.

He knew that all this was a test in front of him!

Test people's hearts, test the will to the Tao.

The true Fa is hard to find, and if you want to pass on the true Fa, you always have to go through the test.

He knew that the Tao should listen to the scriptures here, and should not live in the color and heart, and should not live in the sound and fragrance and touch the Dharma and in the heart.

Because all the phases here are the aspects of right and wrong. All sentient beings here, i.e., non-sentient beings.

The Buddha said: "All things are like dreams and bubbles, like dew and electricity, and should be viewed as such." ”
