The abstinence can be purified, like cool water, to remove heat and irritability.

The precepts are the most solemn and the most beautiful incense, and if you take the precepts, you will be happy and special.

When the Guru teaches the Dharma, it is usually because of the Dharma you are cultivating, and you should take the precepts first. That is, first of all, you should not indulge your heart, and shape the good roots early, so that you can smell the wonderful law.

Some people will ask, "Isn't keeping the vows binding my true mind?" My original mind cannot be liberated, so what path do I seek, what kind of freedom do I pursue?

This is a kind of judgment.

What is the original mind? It is the original mind of the self. It is not the desire to live and the desire to take.

Indulging one's heart and pursuing all desires is delusional and desired, not one's own mind.

Cultivating supernatural powers, but not abiding by the precepts, indulging in the heart, wanting to seek unrestrained people, even if you let him crisscross the universe void, he will feel restrained, why is this void universe still on top of my head? It should be trampled under my feet!

Those who hold the precepts can be ranked in the immortal class and become a Buddha and become an immortal. Those who hold the precepts can live forever. Those who hold the precepts can leave suffering early and avoid early injuries.

This vow is not something you can take if you want to, but you need to reach that point in the realm of Taoism before you can take it. And once you have received the vows, you can't break them, otherwise you will greatly damage the Tao and lose all the good laws.

The higher the attainment of the great master, the more precepts he receives, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Great Luo Golden Immortals, who are now in the Dharma body, are all solemn and special, and their words and deeds must strictly abide by the precepts.
