Chapter 263: The Sweeping Monk Makes His First Appearance

Shaolin Temple, Tibetan Scripture Pavilion.

"Xuzhu, can you read through the meaning of this Lotus Sutra?"

On the long corridor, a thin monk in a green robe held a scripture book and asked with a pleasant face to Xuzhu.

His voice is extremely old, but it gives people an ethereal feeling, as if listening to his voice, even the soul can be sublimated, and the Western Elysium realm unconsciously appears in front of him, a Buddha, full of kindness, the virtual image of all beings, which makes people have the idea of worship from the bottom of their hearts, and they can't wait to repent of themselves, immediately put down the butcher's knife, and take refuge in my Buddha.

I saw a broom suspended in the air behind the thin monk, the broom seemed to have magical power, and I didn't see the monk holding it with his hands, and he was so motionless and kept a distance of one foot from the back of the thin monk, the thin monk went forward, the broom followed forward, the thin monk went back, and the broom itself seemed to have spirituality and followed backwards, and the end was extremely magical.

Looking closer, this monk is quite old, the sparse few long beards have been completely white, slow to move, there is no strength, it does not look like he has martial arts, and he does not know how to control the broom. Then he fled.

Only martial arts realms that have reached the innate martial arts realm can know the Dao, the true qi is released from the body, and the control items are suspended in the air, which is at least the realm of the innate high level, which is ten or a hundred times more powerful than attaching the true qi to the weapon, and hitting any sword and sword.

This is not Xiao Feng's "Dragon Capture Gong", which specializes in grasping and controlling things, but relying on superior spiritual power. Relying on the powerful and incomparable true qi in the body, he manipulates the true qi in the outside world and repeats it. Martial arts cultivation to this realm means that the individual's understanding and cultivation of martial arts have been further recognized by this heaven and earth, and it is not as careful as if he has just entered the innate to find a point of convergence with the rules of heaven and earth, and the realm at this time is only one step away from the shattered void.

And if you want to cultivate to such a height, you must not only reach an extremely profound level of martial arts cultivation, but more importantly, the cultivation of personal spiritual power.

If you want to release your true qi, you must have a strong spiritual power, and this powerful spiritual power is not because those people who are extremely talented and evil can comprehend and cultivate on their own, most of them still have to rely on the corresponding cultivation methods.

But in the world of the Celestial Dragon. There are very few martial artists who can reach the innate realm. The cultivation method of spiritual power is even rarer, and even if some martial artists are promoted to the innate realm, they are still confused, and they don't know how to cultivate next. There are those who have managed to cultivate to the innate mid-stage realm. When I felt that I needed to cultivate my spiritual power to go further. But he suddenly found that he didn't know how to cultivate his spiritual power at all, and he had never heard of the cultivation method. I couldn't help beating my chest and wailing.

I can't find a method of spiritual power cultivation, but it doesn't mean that this kind of exercise does not exist, and among the spiritual power cultivation methods that only a very small number of people know, the best effect is the first to recommend all kinds of Buddhist scriptures in Shaolin Temple, especially the "Bodhicitta Method" and "Dharma Meditation Gong" in the seventy-two stunts.

It's a pity that although these two scriptures can help martial artists cultivate their spiritual power, because the books are full of Buddhist language, and the cultivation conditions must be Buddhist exercises as pre-martial arts, it is difficult for martial arts people in the outside world to learn.

A martial artist who has cultivated to the middle of the innate stage, it is even more difficult for him to give up his martial arts and cultivate from scratch than to kill that person.

Of course, there are also some people who have luck and great perseverance, one is to bring art into Shaolin, and the other is to enter Shaolin to learn martial arts, but unfortunately, whether it is the person in front or the kind of person in the back, few people succeed in cultivation in the end.

Needless to say, the former is inevitable. The latter is because they can't find the law, thinking that as long as they learn Shaolin martial arts, they can delve into spiritual cultivation methods.

How do you know that this kind of thinking is simply contrary to the Shaolin martial arts cultivation, and it will never achieve positive results, among these people, the only one who has learned is the Shaolin sweeping monk.

Forty-five years ago, the sweeping monk brought art into Shaolin, and forty years ago he had an epiphany, scattered a body of exercises, did not practice martial arts, only read Buddhist scriptures, and practiced Zen heart. One cultivation is five years, after five years, began to practice Shaolin martial arts, all the way unimpeded, just one year to promote to the innate realm, after more than 30 years, no one knows what kind of realm its cultivation has reached.

Other well-known spiritual power cultivation methods in the rivers and lakes are either not effective or their whereabouts are unknown. According to the grapevine, some of the exercises were locked into the treasury by the imperial court, and some were treated as treasures by the great families who had survived for hundreds of years and hidden.

It is understandable that the family faction hid the exercises, but why is this court like this? Do you think it is for the purpose of cultivating martial arts masters? Wrong!

"Chivalry is forbidden by martial arts!"

According to the thinking of the court bigwigs, everyone should not know martial arts, only I can, so that I can control you, suppress you, and clean you up casually when I want to clean you up.

Even if my descendants and descendants do not have the talent to learn martial arts, it doesn't matter, as long as there are no people in the world who know martial arts, my untalented descendants can suppress everything just by relying on the imperial army, only in this way can the interests of the powerful people of the dynasty be protected, and the imperial dynasty can be as stable as Mount Tai, and it will be prosperous for thousands of generations.

As for the fact that everyone doesn't know martial arts anymore, their physique is not good, their personality is weak, foreign enemies invade, everyone doesn't even have the confidence to do it, they don't dare to scold when they are scolded, they don't dare to scold people when they are beaten, and they don't dare to come back when they occupy territory. As long as the imperial court suppresses the internal effectively, there will be no internal rebellion, and the emperor's throne is stable.

As for the outside, that's a matter for the generals, and if the generals don't handle it well, it's good to kill him and exterminate him.

In a word, the emperor is always right, he can be weak externally, but he must be cruel internally.

After the thin monk finished speaking, he waited for Xuzhu to answer.

Xuzhu clasped his hands together and said reverently: "That's what I smell." For a time, the Buddha lived in the city of the king's house, in the mountains of Jajari, and there were 12,000 people with the great monks. They are all arhats, all the leaks have been exhausted, there are no more troubles, they have caught their own interests, they have all the knots, and their hearts are at ease. Its names are: Arāṇaṇa, Mahakaya, Śrūrīpin Luogyā, Gayagyāyā, Natikyāyā, Sāriputta, Mahāgārjan, Maharajayan, Āmiṇa, Maharaja, Mahābha, Mahābha, Mahāṇa, Maharaja, Sun......dra, Śrātra, Ābādāṇa, Ābāṇa, Āṣṇa, Āṇaṇa, Āṣṇaṇa, Āṇṣṇa, Āṇṣṇa

With the recitation of the scriptures to the fullest, Xuzhu's expression became more and more pious, and there was even a faint shadow of a Buddha behind him.

It is hard to imagine that a martial artist whose martial arts are only third-rate in the rivers and lakes can inspire a martial arts phantom that only an innate master can have.

The old monk was very satisfied when he saw Xuzhu's performance, and kept smiling and nodding. When he saw the phantom of the Buddha behind the void bamboo, he couldn't help but show a relieved expression.

After reciting the entire Lotus Sutra, Xuzhu bowed to the old monk and said, "Master, Xuzhu is stupid, although he recites the scriptures all day long, the more he recites them, the less he understands the meaning of the scriptures, and I don't know why. As he spoke, Xuzhu's face showed a confused look.

The old monk smiled slightly and said, "The Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra has clouds: 'Color is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from color, color is emptiness, emptiness is color, and it is the same when you want to know it. You are confused now because of the Hinayana of Buddhism. After having more scriptures and books, and having attained a high level of Buddhism, all illusions can be easily solved. ”

The old monk said, and he didn't see any fluctuations in his true qi around him, but as soon as he stretched out his hand, a scripture book flew out from the bookshelf next to him, and it fell into the old monk's hand upright.

Handing the sutra to Xuzhu, the old monk said kindly: "You don't have to read the Lotus Sutra anymore, you can take this Ranga Sutra back and study it carefully, I believe it will help you in your understanding of the Dharma." ”

Xuzhu took the scriptures with both hands, saluted respectfully, and said, "Xuzhu Xie Lu Xie Da......"

Before he finished speaking, he suddenly heard the sound of the bell and the sound of the bore, continuous, which was a signal to convene the monks of the whole temple. Except for the birthday of the Buddha and the birthday of Patriarch Bodhidharma every year, the temple has rarely gathered all the monks. Xuzhu was a little strange, and asked the old monk: "The abbot rings the bell to gather the crowd, does the master want to go to the Daxiong Treasure Hall?"

The old monk sighed lightly, took the broom on his back into his hand, and said, "The old man still has to clean this Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, you can go yourself." ”

After many days of contact, Xuzhu already knew the temper of the old monk, and he didn't say much when he heard it, just chanted the Buddha's name, and then turned around and ran towards the main hall.

The old monk glanced at the back of Xuzhu, and then put his eyes in the direction of the Daxiong Hall in the distance, and muttered: "Alas! The wind wants to be quiet and the trees do not stop, and the rivers and lakes may be another round of bloody wind and rain." At that moment, the whole figure of the old monk seemed to blend into the surrounding air, and he could see the old monk's people with his eyes, but he couldn't feel any of the old monk's breath, as if the old monk was air, and the air was the old monk, which was really weirdly tight.

When Xuzhu walked into the main hall, he saw that more than 200 people had gathered in the hall, and the rest of the monks kept coming in. In a moment, more than 1,000 monks of the whole temple have gathered in the hall, and each branch is lined up, although the number of people is large, but it is silent.

In addition, there are hundreds of martial arts people dressed in various styles of clothes, standing on the other side with solemn expressions, and the few people who know Xuzhu have the major famous and decent masters on the rivers and lakes, and most of the rest Although Xuzhu does not know them, they can't help but feel worried about their posture and the temples that bulge high on both sides, as well as the high-ranking momentum exuded from the body.

Zheng was trembling and frightened, only to hear the bell ring three times, and all the monks announced the Buddha's name: "Nan Wu Shakya Buddha!" Abbot Xuanci and the three senior monks of the Xuanzi generation, accompanied by the heads of several major sects and the patriarchs of major families, walked out of the apse slowly. The monks and martial arts people in the hall bowed and saluted together. Xuan Ci and those people first visited the Buddha statue in the hall, and then after meeting with other martial arts people, they sat down as guests. (To be continued......)
