Chapter 14: They Love You, My Girl
Sether took the lead, the first to rush into the warehouse where he was sleeping, followed by Remassa.
The wooden door of the barn was bolted from the inside, and a soldier dragged a huge bloodstained axe with a cracked blade and slashed at the door with all his might. Saiser couldn't stand it any longer, and cursed as he snatched the man's great axe, and with a wave of his arm, the door was cut into a jagged gap with a deafening crash and crack.
Sether kicked the door open and burst in.
I didn't expect that such a man who was more beautiful than a woman would have such a big arm strength, Remassa thought with jealousy, God really likes to joke around.
The rest of the soldiers and several courtiers also came to the room.
The bed was a mess, the sheets were torn to the floor, the window pages seemed to have been violently pulled by some irresistible brute force, muddy and dirty footprints covered the floor from the side of the bed to the windowsill, the shelves and a small dusty wardrobe were thrown to the ground, a large row of ceramic utensils was smashed to pieces, and sharp shards were scattered everywhere.
"You're going to let Xinmei sleep here?" Remassa roared.
"She slept in my bed when I first brought her back," Sether glared at the unknown boy fiercely, "so you want her to sleep in my bed all the time, do you?"
Remassa froze, his face pale, and it looked like he wanted to continue roaring something, but he held back.
Sesher came to the window, his long fingers twisting a piece of blood-stained linen that hung from the sharp corners of the broken wooden window frame. "It was from here that she broke through the window, and it was from here that she was restrained from going out. A few of you," Sether instructed the soldiers who had come in with him, "send someone to tell Luvand, and let him take two teams with him, one for the whereabouts of the Hidden Eyebrows, and one for the suspicious places near the Valley Castle." The rest of the people, chase it now!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
Remassa himself went out to chase after him with the group of Morris cavalry that followed.
Sether looked at the young man's excited and nervous face in disgust, and wanted to draw his sword and give him an arrow from behind to pierce his heart. Foolish Gundlers, don't you try to find the Hidden Eyebrows before the Viaphers. Ah, I'm stupid! What can I do if I find her? Isn't she making a wedding dress for this hairy child? No, no, no, he's not a hairy child, he'll sleep with a hidden brow, and let her give birth to a litter of wild cubs with Morris blood flowing through them! Phew! Possession of her is what should be my right. I should have slaughtered this Maurice man like a horseβmaybe I'd just killed her, her had ruined my world, and Hidden Brow was the culprit of my pain.
Half of the forces in the valley were searched for the Morris, and only one of the Morris was left, Count Gwen. Sether had a good impression of this polite middle-aged man, but since Gwen was the one who followed Remassa, the emperor didn't bother to deal with him at all.
An afternoon of sand passed like fingertips, and Sether stood on the highest watchtower on the wall, silently looking into the distance. It was already early spring, but the ground was still desolate, and he looked down with fascination as a soldier rubbed a flint and a knife to make a fire, and a faint wisp of fire flickered in the cold, and after a long struggle finally spread on the scraped bark and dry dead grass. The flames burst out of a person too high, living like the image of a woman.
Sether remembered the night of the Nightmare's Trial, and the hidden eyebrows also walked out of the blue flames, as if she were a woman from another world, she was naked, her eyes were full of enthusiasm, and she walked towards him with open arms. He remembered every detail of her body, and no one was as familiar with her body as he was, both visual and tactile.
Sether seemed to be daydreaming, a daydream that had been going on for some long, lonely night of his loneliness.
It was a beautiful garden, so beautiful that it was not like the rest of the world, and in the middle of it sat a lovely cottage of red bricks and white tiles, he was no longer the emperor of Wissingkai, and the hidden eyebrows were no longer the slaves of the hidden lotus. He couldn't remember who he was in the dream, and he couldn't remember her. I only remember that he and Yin Xinmei snuggled up to each other on the not wide balcony, he wrapped his arms around her thin waist, and she rested her head on her shoulder, and he was the only one in her lovely light gray eyes.
They would kiss for a long time, from day to sunset, and then sit back on their tall beds, doing nothing, soaking up the rich aroma of the south wind blowing through the garden, caressing each other with everything. Happiness can be transmitted, through her skin, her body, her breath, her smile, her sweet words, all of which are his miracles. And she seems to have found a miracle in his eyes and chest that was specially tailored for her.
Hidden eyebrows sang for Sether, and it was specially sung for him alone, and no one but him could understand it. Beside me appeared a girl as charming as the moonlight, the starlight shimmered on her white and delicate skin, the bright moon illuminated her hair, she was more immaculate than sterling silver, her kisses were hotter than hot springs. Her eyes looked at me and immediately took away my heart. Her love is so good, her intoxicating love is far better than spirits, and the fragrance of her anointing oil is better than all incense.
"I love you, Sethy. In the middle of the night, the beauty beside him put her arms around his neck, and her coral-like rosy lips poured out a gentle whisper, "I love your eyes, I love your lips, I love your face, I love all the things you say to me, I love every hug you have, I love every kiss you kiss, I love the way you look at me, I love you, I love everything about you." β
"Everything, everything?"
"Yes, I want to be with you forever, I want you to possess me forever, to have me, and not to let anyone take me away from you. I still love your hands, I love the way they caress me. β
"They love you, my girl. β
"I love to say your name. Sether, Sether, Sether, the name seems to have been given specifically to me calling you. Your name belongs to me, Sethy. My Sether, my lover, my eternal lion king, my eternal possessor, the man to whom I am willing to surrender with all my heart. Embrace me, Sether, I can't survive a day without you. β
But all these are lies, and these dreams are one lie after another. She doesn't want to be possessed by him, she doesn't want to be exclusive to him, she is going to marry another man. What made Seser even more angry and annoyed was that he hadn't possessed her until now, which was incredible.
Sether has never been able to forget every part of her body since she was in the Mirror Lake Palace. It is ridiculous to say that the emperor showed all his tenderness to a woman like never before, and yet this woman slipped out of his hands, and so completely.
Who would have thought of this? Who would have expected this? I'm afraid that the gossip and rumor-mongering editor-in-chief of "Give You a Pair of Eyes" would not dare to press such a ridiculous story on him.
The world is truly psychedelic.
When Sether first discovered his desire for the Hidden Eyebrow, he tore her shirt, put her in a black cell, and then pronounced the sentence of her death, and now, when he rescued her in spite of the danger, and shamelessly demanded that she return to Wilphkai, she simply declared her unwavering loyalty to Remassa in his bed.
As he was immersed in boundless thoughts, Count Gwen quietly walked up to Sether's side, "Shy maiden, passionate bride," said the calm-looking middle-aged man, softly, "the beauty of the flames." The charm of enthusiasm is truly amazing. β
He's not like the kind of man who talks about beauty and love in front of people. When Sether investigated Remassa before, he knew that Count Gwen had never married and had dedicated his life to the Morris family. Has he ever loved a girl in his life? Has he ever spent a spring dinner with a woman he will never forget? Has he ever been betrayed by someone he loves?
Sether, of course, would not ask these questions, he just silently glanced sideways at the uninvited Earl Gwen, and said nothing, waiting for the latter to continue speaking.
"Crown Prince Morris is too young, and many times he doesn't know how to control his temper," Gwen's voice was respectful, "Thank you, Your Majesty, for your kindness to him." β
Sether nodded in reply.
"I have the courage to make a request to Your Majesty," continued Earl Gwen, "and I beg you not to snatch Miss Hidden Eyebrows from the hands of the Crown Prince. β
"Who told you I'm going to snatch her?" Sether was surprised.
"Nobody has said that, but I can see it. After all," Ge Wen's originally solemn face showed a subtle smile, "After all, I was also young, and I also loved." β
"Have you loved?"
"Who in this world can say that he has not loved?" said the Earl smiled wryly, "but I have removed love from my life. I wish the Crown Prince a happy love, and I beseech you, my Majesty, that the Crown Prince regards Miss Yin as the only one in his life, almost so to speak, that he fell in love with her before he even knew her. It's an incredible story. β
Sether's eyes were raised in surprise, and Count Gwen's words sounded ridiculous, but he believed them, for the latter would never joke about such matters. Sether was about to open his mouth to ask him what was going on, but he was startled by a terrible wail that resounded through the valley.
Then a long, low hunting horn echoed through the valley, and Sether heard the hounds barking wildly.
"They found her!" cried the Emperor, and at once ran down the castle. Count Gwen followed.
