What will be the result?
John said that he had lost the glory of God.
What is the glory of God?
Shi Zixuan's understanding is that it is the ultimate Dao fruit you seek.
What is Dao Guo? Many classics, biographies, and even dramas in the world all say Dao Guo and Dao Guo. But very few people really understand what the Tao fruit is.
The Dao Fruit refers to the seed that you planted from the beginning of your vow and practice, and in the following days, you will not change your original intention, take the precepts as the body, take the deeds as the food, and use the merits as the water, and finally the fruit of the flowers.
For example, if a Buddhist disciple vows to practice Buddhism, his initial wish must be, "I vow to become a Buddha!"
Yes, vow to become a Buddha, not to vow to become a bodhisattva, vow to become an arhat!
It seems too big, too empty, too far away to reach. But that's the fruit of the path, and you have to have that wish. Cultivating Buddha, cultivating Buddha, without this vow, dare not make this vow, what Buddha do you still cultivate?
The same is true for those who cultivate the Tao, they don't even have the belief to swear to transcendence and become immortals, so what kind of Tao do they cultivate? Sooner or later, they will be a ghoul who only seeks immortality.
What you have said is only the most superficial part of the Dao Fruit, at most it is only an original intention, just a seed. How can the fruit be formed?
As mentioned above, take the precepts as the body, the deeds as the food, and the merits as the water. From the moment the seed is planted, follow this way. Go to the line, and finally the flowers will bloom and see the fruit, which is the true Dao fruit.
This sentence is translated back into John's words, that is, when Shaliyah first practiced, he saw the great insight of the gods he believed in, an incredible ability. He vowed to become a god-like being, with such great knowledge, with such incredible abilities.
That is, to share in the glory of God.
But what happened to Shariah now? He disobeyed the guidance of the gods! It was not that he disobeyed the orders of the gods, but that he had shaken his knowledge of the gods. What the gods do, what the gods want, and what they are willing to do.
Without such an original intention, he lost the qiē practice he had been practicing under the guidance of the gods since he started his faith. Whether it is the realm of knowledge, supernatural powers, or Taoism, they will all disappear. Of course, this disappearance will not be lost all at once. It's gradual, but eventually it's all lost.
Some people will be strange, know this thing, see it. If you know it, will it disappear?
Ladies and gentlemen, the answer is yes, know this thing. is the most important thing in cultivation, and it will change.
We say, why should we practice the Dharma? And not expecting to be out of the way?
Here's why, what is the Fa-rectification? It is the true path of light, correct knowledge and correct view. Walking in this way, seeing life in the universe in this way, the void and mysteries are all wonderful, it is right, and it will never be wrong.
Without amending the law, what is it that should be seen?
Evil knowledge and wrong opinions.
What does evil mean?
Not evil. It's a deviation. This is not simply a question of good and bad, but a question of direction, a question of perfection and flaws.
The Dharma is perfect, and the path is bright. There is a defect in wrong knowledge and wrong views, and the road is tortuous.
Understand this problem, and it will be clear as soon as you understand it.
That's why, whether it's the teachings of the Buddha or the Tao or other sects, the most important thing in the beginning is that you have faith and have true faith, and with this right faith, you can start to practice.
(As an aside, there are many dramas and novels in which the protagonist himself claims to be an atheist, but because he got the "cheats" of a certain god and a certain immortal, he began to kill all the way, and the so-called cultivation, and finally killed the immortals and destroyed the Buddha all the way, and achieved the so-called "Great Dao".)
Ladies and gentlemen, after understanding John's words, isn't it ridiculous that the so-called protagonist above is not even known? He can achieve it without even having the right faith, the right knowledge, the right view, and even the heart to seek it?
Such a person is nothing more than a fool who indulges in delusion, who rolls in the mud of the world and enjoys himself, and shouts for refreshment when he falls into evil pleasure when he is troubled.
What should I do with you and me, the real protagonists, who are also in this world?
It's very simple, first start with the right faith, in order to hold the right determination, and understand the right knowledge.
Righteous belief is the premise of a qiē. What is faith?
One should be successful!
Those who have this perfect insight are gods, immortals, and Buddhas, all of them are your true beliefs. That's faith.
Don't say things like "I don't believe in anything, I only believe in myself", you don't even know your own nature, you don't know the wisdom of the universe, what do you believe in yourself? Ignorance and ignorance?
Don't think it's hard to establish faith, think it's hard to accept, many modern people seem to think that worshipping Buddha and worshiping God seems to be humble, feeling aggrieved, unconvinced, not free, and unequal. Think about it in another way, the immortal Buddha is the person who came over, not him, not her, not it, but yourself in the future. It is the future of you and me who will be fully enlightened and fully realized.
You are an immortal! You are a Buddha! You are a god! Kowtow to yourself, even if you throw your five bodies to the ground, are you still aggrieved?
Is it still difficult to understand this? It's not difficult at all. )
Shaliyah lost his original faith, and in the process of seeking it, he wavered from his faith, and he went astray on the right path, farther and farther away from his original goal.
It's like a person who was walking on the avenue, but when he was halfway there, he turned a corner, went to a fork in the road, and finally got lost.
That's what John said, that Shariah had lost the glory of God.
Finally, John says that without the glory of God, he is no longer himself.
What does this last sentence mean?
Shi Zixuan's understanding is:
There is no ignorance, and there is ignorance on its own. If there is no entry, there is no way to go.
How to explain this sentence specifically, I will talk about it later, in short, John's sentence, let Shi Zixuan translate, it is four words:
People walk in evil ways.
