Those people told me, saying that I was a living immortal, and if I helped them, they were going to kneel and kowtow to me.

Ladies and gentlemen, I didn't like it at the time. I'm here to teach the Fa, in fact, just to get married. This bond is a mutual affair between you and me. We are all equal. I have passed on my word to you, and you have inherited it, and I have gained it. And I'm not an immortal, even if I'm a true immortal, what do you want to kowtow to?"

Or do you want to dress you? If you want me to say, if you want to worship, it is better to worship this God, because God is born to feed people. It is better for you to go and worship the earth, for it gives you room to live, and to produce grain and bread, so that you may live. What are you doing if you don't worship the heavens, you don't worship the earth, you don't worship the gods and Buddhas?"
