Chapter 295: Attained Enlightenment

Luo Tian stopped outside the Buddhist temple and noticed something unusual.

This strange thing is that the two stone lions outside the Buddhist temple turned out to be alive, to be precise, they are two demon beasts, and their cultivation is not weak, but there is no demonic energy in these two lions, but they are purified with a pure Buddha power, that is, they have taken refuge in Buddhism.

"They are guarding the temple here, guarding one side, and have been blessed by the luck of Buddhism, their minds are empty, there is no karma, and they can get twice the result with half the effort when they cultivate, and Buddhism is really not simple!"

Luo Tian was secretly shocked in his heart, and felt more and more that the water of the Buddha Gate was very deep.

Without showing any abnormalities, Luo Tian left quickly, not wanting to be discovered by the two lions, so as not to cause any misunderstanding.

Soon, Luo Tian left the small city and walked in the wilderness on foot, feeling the tranquility and peace of nature and the mystery of the Buddha.

Luo Tian regarded this as a kind of practice, sharpening his mind, comprehending the Dharma, and condensing his own Buddha power.

Cultivating the Buddha is a kind of understanding, but also a kind of fate, and if you have no relationship with the Buddha, you can't force it, this is a kind of mysterious and mysterious thing.

Luo Tian can be recognized by the relics, and naturally he can be regarded as a person who is related to the Buddha, but what kind of achievement he can achieve depends on himself.

The Buddha said that all living beings in the world have Buddha nature and demon nature, and one thought becomes a Buddha and one thought becomes a demon.

The so-called no demon is no Buddha, light and darkness are born together, everything in the world is born of opposites, if all sentient beings have no suffering, how can they believe in Buddha?

When the opposition of demons is lost, the Buddha is no longer a Buddha, or all sentient beings are Buddhas.

For the practitioner, the stronger the Buddha-nature. Often, the stronger the demonic nature, the stronger the demonic nature, the greater the improvement of one's own Dharma cultivation. For Buddhist practice, it is a calamity again and again, it is inescapable, and it must be faced.

The higher the cultivation level of the Buddha, once he falls into the demonic path, he will be the most terrible demon, and once he awakens. If you get back to your original mind, you will become a stronger Buddha, and all of this is stored in one mind.

In order to be able to keep one's heart. In order to never fall into the path of demons, a Buddha practitioner must have great compassion, great perseverance and great wisdom, all three of which are indispensable, but those who can achieve the great power of Buddhism. None of them are mediocre.

The path of Buddhism goes with the flow. Without greed, without attachment, only by letting go of everything can we become a Buddha immediately.

It's just that all this is easy to say, but it is extremely difficult to do, everyone has seven emotions and six desires, and they all have greed, hatred, and hatred. If you want to let go of all this, you can't do it without Huigen.

The Buddha said to put down the butcher's knife. Becoming a Buddha means that even if a person has done a lot of evil, as long as he can let go of the past, let go of the past, and find his true self, he can become a Buddha.

Those who have had unusual experiences are more likely to understand the true meaning of the Dharma, see the nature of the mind, and become a Buddha.

People in the world have a lot of attachments, reluctant to let go, but do not know what to give, willing to give, there will be gain! Nothing can be obtained casually, there is a balance in this shijie, what you want to get, you must pay the same price!

Luo Tian was walking, thinking at the same time, many realizations came to his heart, taking this opportunity, he thought about a lot of things, his heart was unprecedentedly calm, ethereal, unloaded a lot of burdens, and his body and mind were relaxed.

Unconsciously, Luo Tian walked to the foot of a mountain, and in front of him was a level of quaint stone steps, weathered by wind and frost, with an ancient charm.

As soon as he looked up, Luo Tian saw that there was an ancient temple at the end of the stone steps, which was simple and vicissitudes, with a sense of sacredness and solemnity.

Stopping slightly, Luo Tian stepped on the stone steps and walked step by step.

Luo Tian's speed is very slow, and with every step he takes, he can feel a special Tao rhyme, which cleanses his heart, and he can't help but feel it quietly.

After walking for a long time, Luo Tian walked to the end of the stone steps and stepped on the platform paved with bluestone slabs.

It is said that it is a platform, but it is not flat, and the bluestone slabs underground are uneven, which seems to have been eroded by the years.

Luo Tian quietly looked at the ancient temple in front of him, an old plaque with three words written on it "Sakya Temple", very ordinary three words, just engraved on the plaque, the color is dull, not plated with a layer of gold.

The doors of the ancient temple are open, and some of them can be seen, apparently not blocking others from entering.

However, the location of this ancient temple is too remote, in the deep mountains, there are no believers who come to burn incense and worship the Buddha, and it seems extremely quiet.

But it was this silence that gave Luo Tian an indescribable feeling that he had never felt anywhere else.

Thinking slightly, Luo Tian stepped into the ancient temple, walked through the small garden, and entered the main hall of the ancient temple.

This main hall is extremely quaint, there is nothing brilliant, but it has a solemnity that makes people dare not give birth to blasphemy, and makes people awe from their hearts.

The layout of the hall is very simple, there is a Buddha statue enshrined in the center, it is a Buddha with a compassionate face, it looks extremely ordinary, but Luo Tian feels that the Buddha statue has a faint golden light emanating from it, and it has an immortal Buddha nature, just like a true Buddha.

On both sides, there are nine golden-bodied Arhats, which are lifelike, just like the real ones.

Especially on these eighteen golden-bodied Arhat statues, they all exude a trace of Buddha power and have an immortal Buddha light cover body.

Zuihou, Luo Tian's gaze stayed on the bodies of the several figures sitting cross-legged in the hall.

There are only two people in the hall, an old and a young, each sitting on a futon, the little monk is knocking on the wooden fish, making a low sound, and the old monk is holding a string of prayer beads, reciting the scriptures in a low voice!

For the arrival of Luo Tian, the old and the young did not care, and chanted wholeheartedly.

Luo Tian had already checked it, and it seemed that there were only these two people in this ancient temple, and these two people seemed to be just ordinary people, and there was no real power fluctuation on their bodies.

However, Luo Tian felt that the old monk seemed to be a little unusual, and he felt a special aura, but he couldn't describe it in words.

Soon Luo Tian discovered a strange thing, that is, there were only two people in the ancient temple, but there were three futons in the hall, and the vacant futon was clearly quite new, and it seemed that it had only been placed out for a short time.

"Is it specially prepared for me?" Unconsciously, a strange thought arose in Luo Tian's heart.

couldn't help but step forward, knelt on the futon, and bowed religiously.

When you come to the Buddhist temple, you can't be rude, and Baibai Buddha is understandable.

After worshipping the Buddha, Luo Tian was ready to get up and leave.

"Amitabha, since you are here, why should you be in a hurry to leave?"

At this moment, the old monk who had been sitting quietly spoke, and his voice was extremely old.

"I'm sorry to disturb the master's Qing cultivation!" Luo Tian turned around, a little apologetic, and looked very respectful.

"It's okay, if you're not in a hurry, you might as well sit down!" The old monk didn't move, still maintaining the same appearance as before.

Hearing this, Luo Tian thought slightly, did not refuse, and sat down on the empty futon very naturally, he felt more and more that this old monk was unfathomable, and seemed to really know that he was coming, Luo Tian wanted to know what the old monk wanted!

"What does Xiaoyou think is a Buddha?" As soon as Luo Tian sat down, the old monk asked a very strange question.

Hearing this question, Luo Tian couldn't help but ponder, because he had really never thought about this question, and he didn't understand why the old monk would ask such a question.

What is a Buddha? It would be fine if other people asked this question, but if this question comes from the mouth of an old monk who has practiced Buddhism all his life, then it has no profound meaning.

"The original meaning of a Buddha is a sage, and in my eyes, a Buddha is a person who has great wisdom, is well-versed in affairs, is detached from life and death, and has a noble character. Because of their noble hearts, they downplay gains and losses, and they rarely have troubles. Therefore, seeking Buddha should be the pursuit of a state of mind. ”

After pondering for a moment, Luo Tian said indifferently.

Hearing Luo Tian's answer, the old monk actually opened his eyes, although he looked old, his eyes were extremely clear, and there was a fine light flowing at this moment.

"What is cultivation?" the old monk asked again.

"True practice is to cultivate the mind, to correct oneself, not to correct others, to let go of self-attachment and self-love, and to be compassionate to all sentient beings, which is the true meaning of the Dharma; the perfection of practice does not lie in the change of appearance, not in the form, but mainly in the change of the mind; not attachment, not greed, and knowing that there is something to give. Luo Tian replied calmly, without any hesitation.

The essence in the old monk's eyes was even brighter, and he continued to ask Luo Tian, as if Luo Tiancai was a Buddha cultivator, and he himself was a Buddha seeker.

Gradually, Luo Tian entered the state, communicated with the old monk, and expressed many of his own opinions.

Although Luo Tian's cultivation time was still short, his experience was extremely rich, and he realized many things that others could not comprehend.

Moreover, Luo Tian got the inheritance of the great power of Buddhism, the Buddha nature is extremely high, and the comprehension of the Dharma has also reached a very high level, and the two stimuli of the relics in the Ghost Abyss and the Yellow Spring Swamp have benefited him a lot, and he has realized the breadth and profundity of the Dharma.

At the beginning, the old monk asked Luo Tian, and then it became Luo Tian asked the old monk, and the two expressed their own feelings about many things to each other, almost unreservedly communicated, with their own perceptions, integrated each other's perceptions, and further sublimated their own perceptions.

The little monk listened quietly and did not interject, he was very wise, and he was fascinated by it.

The old monk mainly discussed the practice of the mind with Luo Tian, discussing the meaning of being a human being, but it did not involve cultivation.

Luo Tian forgot everything and was completely immersed in it, the old monk had great wisdom and had a lot of places for him to learn.

Unconsciously, Luo Tian sat opposite the old monk and communicated for three days and three nights, and the things exchanged continued to deepen, so that Luo Tian really had a sense of sudden enlightenment.

Originally, Luo Tian's cultivation of Buddha was only in its form, and he did not understand the profound meaning of it at all, but now he understands what Buddha is, what is the meaning of Buddha cultivation, and so on.

These things may be really profound, but as long as you understand them, then everything will be clear, and there is a feeling of seeing the blue sky through the clouds.

Unconsciously, Luo Tian's body exuded a faint trace of Buddha nature, as if he had attained the Buddha's fruit, and truly opened the door to Buddhism. (To be continued......)
