Chapter 9: Fire
When I was looking for dried coconuts, I wanted to take a look at the island again. The two brandy bottles I found last night have always disturbed me. I always felt as if there were unusual people on this island.
We had to hide on this island until help arrived, and I didn't want to sleep until midnight with a black gun on my head.
But the trees on the island were too dense, and I was in a hurry to solve the problem of eating first, so I had to give up for the time being. But I still folded some palm leaves and held them in my hands.
Even if it's sunny now, I put a shed on the fire with palm leaves so that it doesn't rain and extinguish it.
When I came back with dried coconut shells and a large pile of palm leaves, Su Jin and Li Shanshan were anxiously waiting for me in the shade of the trees on the shore of the island.
"We've packed up the fish!" and we've got a distress signal!" Li Shanshan looked at me expectantly.
"Huh?" I looked at her finger and saw that they had drawn a big "SOS" letter on the beach at some point.
"Wipe it off. Do you want to tell the robbers that we're here?" I glared at her.
"You?" Li Shanshan originally wanted to show herself, but when she saw that it was self-defeating, she was scolded by me, her face turned red, and her chest rose and fell with anger.
She wanted to play with the princess's temper, but thinking of the consequences of being caught, she was angry and tried to smooth out the distress signal.
"This little girl has a big temper, see how I slowly adjust you!" But she was working together to find a way to save herself, which made me very satisfied.
I ignored the vicious gaze that Li Shanshan threw at me, squatted in the sun, crushed the dry fibers in the coconut shell, and began to shine into the sun with a "magnifying glass".
"Hmph, I thought it was a good move, I can think of this broken method. Li Shanshan saw that I actually used this method to make a fire, and whispered disdainfully.
I didn't bother with her. There were so many things she could think of. But the key is whether you can do it!
Because the sunlight wasn't very strong, I shone for more than ten minutes, and I was sweating.
"Xiao Cheng, I'll try!" Su Jin saw me staring at the focal length, and also squatted beside me to help me.
"No, I'll just come!" I said solemnly, not daring to be distracted at all, as the sea breeze blew and a burst of chime incense hit my nose, and I turned my head to look at it, and almost hit her in the face.
Su Jin also found that she was attracted by the process of starting a fire, and unconsciously got so close to me, her face turned red all of a sudden, and she stood up shyly and hid to the side.
My heart throbbed! I didn't expect that Mr. Su, who was usually cold, was so shy and cute. But thinking of the current emergency, I couldn't help but scold myself, "Cheng Haidong, when is it now, why are you still fighting Su Jin's idea!" I calmed down and focused more carefully.
After a while, the fibers in the dried coconut shells came out of the smoke, and I blew the fire, and finally a bean-sized flame came out.
"Sea Dragon, it's a success!" Su Jin saw that I had a fire, jumped and clapped his hands and shouted, happy like a child.
Probably too excited, Su Jin actually called me Sea Dragon, which made me a little flattered. Su Jin also realized his gaffe and hurriedly calmed down. Squatted down and watched as I took the fire to the dug stove and blew it with a blowtorch made of leaves.
"Mr. Su, let's grill fish and eat it. Li Shanshan saw that the fire was burning, so she also came over. Apparently she had been salivating over the pile of seafood for a long time.
"The fish is so small that it burns when grilled. I'll take care of it!" I said, and went to the edge of the woods and picked up some large leaves, and then wrapped the palm-long little fish in the leaves, and dug a pit beside the earthen stove, and put the fish in the pit, and set some charcoal fire on it.
"Xiao Cheng, you have a lot of options. I didn't realize you were so talented before. Su Jin saw that I was skilled and confident, and couldn't help but look at me in admiration.
"Hehe, Mr. Su, this is nothing. "I noticed that she had changed her address to me again. But I was embarrassed to hear her praise me from the bottom of my heart, and I didn't dare to look at her, and my face seemed to be red.
Ahem, who told me that I haven't been in a relationship properly!
