So he went down to Kunlun Mountain and traveled by himself to see if he could receive satisfactory disciples. Along the way, he also met people with outstanding qualifications, but he didn't have a master-apprentice relationship with him, so he didn't accept them as apprentices.

By chance, he saw a young man of the human race, who worshipped the mountains and looked for a famous teacher, but in the end he was always disappointed. Lao Tzu became interested, and sensed that this son had a fate with him, so he turned into an ordinary old man, sitting on the mountain road that young people must pass, and tried one or two.

The young man came down from a mountain again disappointed, ready to make persistent efforts to go elsewhere to apprentice, but when he saw an old man with a white beard blocking his way, he bowed to the old man and said:

"Old man, can you avoid one or two and let the boy go down the mountain. ”

The old man incarnated by Lao Tzu was not moved, but closed his eyes. Seeing this, the young man was a little puzzled, thinking that the old man was deaf and blind, and he sympathized with him, so he prepared to quietly bypass and not disturb the old man's rest.

Just as he moved, the old man's voice came.

"Young man, where are you going?"

When the young man saw that the old man was not as he thought, he could not see or hear, and his heart was happy, so he replied with a smile:

"Old man, I'm going to go to the mountain in front of me to learn from the teacher. ”

"Oh, I saw that you visited a lot of mountains, but they were all rejected, why don't you give up and continue to insist on apprenticeship?"

"It turns out that the old people have seen it, hehe. The young man laughed and then continued:

"I was originally a human race on the Hope Plain of the East China Sea, and I had been practicing martial arts before, but my progress has been slow, and with my qualifications, I am afraid that I will not be able to practice to the advanced realm until I die.

Originally, I had already accepted my fate on this matter, but not long ago, the Supreme Sage came to my human race to preach, and the Dharma he preached was unfathomable, but my cultivation was very easy.

However, there is not much content that the sage preaches about, and the follow-up cultivation method is not mentioned, so I want to go out to find the traces of the sage, and by the way, learn from teachers along the way, and increase my knowledge. ”

"I see, you can be regarded as a firm Dao heart. Then I would like to worship in the name of the old man, hehe" the old man said with a smile.

"The master is above, and he is bowed by the disciple. The young man didn't say a word, but bowed down, and Lao Tzu was stunned by this, so he asked:

"You young man is interesting, the old man said a joke, you should really worship me as a teacher, the old man is about to enter the earth, what can he teach you. ”

"Is the master going to continue to test me? Although I was stupid, I really didn't see the difference between the master at first, but gradually I came back to my senses and found that the master should be a master.

First of all, the temperament of the master is indifferent and free, and it is impossible for ordinary people to have it; So with these two points, the master must be a master. After the young man finished speaking, he looked at Lao Tzu with a look of hope.

"Hehe, you kid, you're not stupid, what's your name?" said Lao Tzu with a smile.

"Master Yu, the disciple's name is Xuandu. ”

"Xuandu, a good name. Since you have fallen under the old man's name, the old man will tell you who you are worshipping as a teacher. Lao Tzu said, the appearance of the figure began to change, and the momentum of his body was slowly released.

Where did Xuandu bear the pressure of the saint, and he had already been pressed to his knees, but fortunately, Lao Tzu retracted his momentum in time, and said:

"As a teacher, he is the first disciple of Hongjun Dao Ancestor, Taiqing Moral Tianzun. Since you have entered my door, you must not fall into the doorway, otherwise, the teacher will not spare you. ”

Xuandu was already stunned at this time, he never thought that he actually worshipped the saint as a teacher, or the most powerful saint, he was so excited in his heart that he hurriedly re-performed the apprenticeship ceremony, and then replied:

"Master Xie accepted me as an apprentice, and Xuandu will definitely not insult me too clean. ”

"Okay, get up, go back to Kunlun Mountain with your teacher, meet your two uncles, and then practice in the mountains. Lao Tzu said, then rolled up Xuandu and flashed back to Kunlun Mountain.

When he returned to the mountain, the matter of primordial and Tongtian apprentices was not over, and after Lao Tzu took Xuandu to meet the two of them, he passed on his Taiqing exercises and asked him to retreat and practice first.

He believed that only those with good backgrounds could pass on Dafa, and they would also be morally true in the future.

Therefore, he arranged a set of formations on the mountain, so that he could discern the temperament and qualifications of the monks who wanted to worship him.

After a breakthrough, there were more than a dozen people who successfully passed the level, they were Burning Lamp Daoren, Guangchengzi, Red Sperm, Yuding Zhenren, Taiyi Zhenren, Huanglong Zhenren, Manjushri Guangfa Tianzun, Fuxian Zhenren, Cihang Daoren, Lingbao Grand Master, Fear Liusun, Daoxing Tianzun, Qingxu Dao Zhenjun, Antarctic Immortal Weng and Yun Zhongzi.

After the original checked the qualifications of these people, he was very satisfied, and they were all included in the door, and the person of the Burning Lamp Dao, as a guest in the Zixiao Palace, did not accept him as an apprentice, but made him the deputy sect leader of the teaching, but he was in name only, and his status was more embarrassing.

The master of Tongtian Sect accepts disciples at will, and he also arranges a formation, but his standard for accepting disciples is very relaxed, and it also depends on fate, as long as he can come out of the formation, he will accept him as a disciple, he thinks that there is no class in teaching, and everyone has the qualification to explore the avenue.

So in the end, he also received the most disciples, and he was more outstanding Duobao Dao people, Our Lady of Golden Spirit, Our Lady of Wudang, Our Lady of Turtle Spirit, Wuyun Immortal, Golden Light Immortal, Spirit Tooth Immortal, Qishou Immortal, Feather Wing Immortal, Long-eared Dingguang Immortal, Golden Hoop Immortal, Kong Xuan and so on.

Among them, Kong Xuan, as the son of the phoenix, gathers the power of the five elements, has outstanding qualifications, and Tongtian values him very much.

After the three Qings received their respective disciples, they preached and preached the Dharma together on Kunlun Mountain, and passed down the Taoism of their respective cultivation, and then let them practice with peace of mind.

Compared with the lively scene here in Sanqing, Mount Meru in the west is a little deserted, after all, it is not as good as the east. Receiving and Zhun Ti also knew that they couldn't be in a hurry, so they accepted all the monks who came to apprentice, and those with good qualifications were accepted as disciples, and those with poor qualifications were accepted as registered disciples, which also made the deserted Mount Meru have a lot of popularity for a while.

Among the disciples they accepted, the more famous ones were Maitreya, Dashi Zhi, Medicine Master, Daylight Daoren, Moonlight Daoren, Golden Cicada, and so on.

The five saints all had their own gains, and accepted monks who met their own conditions as disciples, imparted the mantle, and through continuous teaching of them, let them accept more disciples after they had completed their studies, spread out their branches, and strengthen the Taoist system, so as to achieve the goal of educating sentient beings.

Therefore, I am ready to wait for the human race to completely gain a foothold in the flood wilderness, and after the disciples have quasi-saint cultivation, they will go to Chaos.

So, during this period of staying, he should relax his mind, so he took Hu Duoer to travel together.
