Chapter 575: Guiding the Maze

He followed this Lao Tzu and Qingniu all the way west, and he didn't know how much scenery he had seen, and there were many scenery he had never thought of or seen along the way. But what he saw along the way was nothing more surprising to him than what appeared in front of him at this moment, after they had crossed the layers of mountains, a piece of green appeared in front of them.

At first, this patch of greenery was just a few dots and it didn't look obvious, but the next moment it suddenly rose and fell one after another, becoming a large forest. What had been a lifeless barren beach had suddenly become a scene full of life. The most important thing is that the vast sea of clouds below has come to an end at some point, and the front has become a reality.

Although it was a grotesque thing to see this purple qi coming from the east and the old man riding the green ox, Sui Feng was still taken aback by the scene in front of him.

Instead, he looked in the direction he came, and there was nothing but the vast expanse of the long sky. The sky was clear, and even the embellishments of white clouds could not be found, and it seemed that the outline of the barren beach and the Gobi could be faintly seen. "Could it be that this place has already left the land of the Western Regions?" Sui Feng had a doubt in his heart, and looked around, only to feel that the water vapor here was much more abundant than that of Hangu Guanlai before, and even more than the land of smoke and rain in the south of the Yangtze River in his impression.

His heart seemed to think of something, and he moved slightly, "Could it be that in just such a short period of time, I have crossed the entire Western Regions and arrived at Tianzhu, where Master Xuanzang made a pilgrimage? I don't know what will be ...... here?"

Sui Feng whispered in his heart, so many days of hard work. He has been following behind Lao Tzu and following him all the way west. In addition to Yin Xi, the guard of Hangu, he also saw that he Yujian had several other people who came to admire him, and naturally he also listened to Lao Tzu's talk and teaching, although this speech was not directed at him, but in his ears it was like a maxim.

The longer he reminisced, the more he was able to comprehend, and some of them were opinions that he had never heard of, which also gave him a lot of inspiration.

Just as he was carefully sorting out and thinking about it, from the beginning to the present, he realized in his heart what he had just heard. But he was suddenly attracted by the scene in front of him, and raised his eyes and stared at the past.

I saw it on the edge of an unknown river ahead. There is a huge tree. Look at it with the wind. The giant tree was several people tall from head to tail. Large branches were obliquely sprouted above the main trunk in the center, and a number of smaller branches were attached to each oblique branch. I don't know how many layers are set up layer by layer. All you can see is dense green foliage, but I have never seen such dense trees in the wind. The layers of leaves are like stars in the sky. Numerous.

"Is there a person sitting under the tree?" Lao Tzu sat down and the green ox took a few steps forward. He suddenly noticed that there was a figure sitting cross-legged under the unknown dense tree in front of him! Lao Tzu seemed to be attracted by the person under the tree, and he pulled the reins of the green ox and leaned towards the figure. As they approached, the silhouette of the figure became clearer.

Sui Feng had just seen his whole appearance. My heart trembled even more. The earthy yellow complexion of the figure was slightly darker than that of the people in the Central Plains, his eyes were slightly closed, and the strangest thing was that there were only a few strands of hair on his bare head. There was still a little blood on the rest of his bare scalp, and it looked as if his hair had been pulled out by him.

And his earlobes were also different from ordinary people, they were much longer, hanging down on the side of his face, trembling slightly with the shaking of his head.

"Could it be that this person is the legendary Buddha Dharma who enlightened under the Bodhi tree?" Sui Feng's heart was shocked, he couldn't believe what he saw in front of him, and what made him feel even more incredible was that he never thought that this supreme figure of Taoism would meet the legendary Buddha, which sounded a bit fantastical, actually appeared in front of his eyes, how could he not be surprised?

"No, although the person in front of him is not much different from the appearance of the legendary Buddha, the momentum of his whole body is too different. Sui Feng carefully looked at the enlightened person sitting under the Bodhi tree, and then looked at the figure of Lao Tzu riding a green ox in front of him. The former is like an ordinary person with a little spirituality, still not enlightened, and Lao Tzu above the green cow is simply incomparable.

The green ox approached little by little with Lao Tzu, but the people under the tree still seemed to be unaware, but they didn't even move.

"Spring goes to autumn, flowers bloom and fall, and if you don't understand it, you can't attain the Tao even if you sit here until you die. Lao Tzu looked at the person in front of him with great interest, and his deep eyes showed a bit of a color similar to love, but there were also some other looks.

"What, who's talking?" the middle-aged man slowly raised his head when he heard the words, and his eyes were confused. Seeing the green cow in front of him and the old man above the green cow, his out-of-focus eyes condensed a little. After a long time, he seemed to have just come back to his senses, and the voice he had just heard came from the mouth of the old man in front of him.

Thinking of this, I couldn't help but look Lao Tzu up and down carefully. Seeing the dozens of plain clothes on his body and his crane-haired and childish appearance, he was immediately taken aback. He took a breath and said, "Could it be that you are a new saint in the East?"

Lao Tzu still had a faint smile on his face, looking at the surprised middle-aged man in front of him with a kind face, and said with a smile: "It doesn't matter who I am, the key is you." ”

"Me?" Bodhidharma was stunned, and his surprise was even greater, "Why am I ......?"

Before he could spit out the word "yes" from his mouth, he saw the old man riding a green ox in front of him, slowly reaching out and gently plucking a green leaf from the Bodhi tree above his head. With a smile, he said: "Aren't you here to comprehend the way of life and death, how can you transcend reincarnation?"

Hearing Lao Tzu say this, Bodhidharma was even more surprised, and almost rose from the ground. He moved his upper body closer to Lao Tzu, "Sage, how do you know? I have been meditating here for more than ten years, and although I have gained a lot of understanding, I still feel that I am a little short of the true way of death and life to transcend reincarnation, but I don't know how to make up for it." I also ask the saints to give advice. ”

Although Lao Tzu did not admit that he was a saint, in the eyes of Bodhidharma, he had become the embodiment of a saint who traveled here from the East. At this moment, listening to Lao Tzu's words broke through his purpose of meditating here, he was even more convinced of it, and immediately revealed the haze and coil that had been hovering in his heart for a long time.

Lao Tzu smiled, but was speechless. Instead, he slowly handed the Bodhi leaf he was holding in his hand to Dharma's eyes.

"What does this mean, sage?" Bodhidharma carefully took the Bodhi leaf and looked back and forth many times, but he couldn't see through the mystery.

"Actually, death and life are like this Bodhi leaf," said Lao Tzu, pinched the leaf, flipped it slightly, and said with a smile: "If the front of this leaf represents life, then death is the back of this leaf." Where is the essential difference between the two and the other? The so-called detachment from life and death is nothing more than throwing away the leaves. With that, the old man flicked his fingers lightly and flicked the blades in his fingers out.

This Bodhi leaf slowly fell, flipped a few half-times in the air, and landed on the forehead of this Bodhi with great accuracy.

"The front is life, the back is ......death," Bodhidharma muttered twice, reached out from the top of his head and leisurely removed the leaf that Lao Tzu had just thrown, and then the murmur in his mouth came out, "If you want to transcend death and life, you can only abandon it......"

Bodhidharma was stunned on the spot, completely speechless.

"Bodhi has no tree, and the mirror is not a platform. There is nothing in the first place, where to stir up dust. I see, I finally got it!"

I don't know how long it took for Bodhidharma to suddenly realize. When he raised his head, he found that the old man who was still in front of him just now had lost his trace at some point. (To be continued......)
