Chapter 765: What is Emptiness?

The huge Buddha's hand, pressing the lifeless Zhen Buddha, sank into the depths of the sea of molten fire.

"The two black balls drawn out by this lifeless Zhen Buddha in the Demon Punishment Temple are hidden in his eyes. Before, I had some doubts, thinking that gods and Buddhas like the Buddha of Wusheng Zhen only needed to perform the Liuhe Gathering Technique to gather their physical bodies, even if they were hundreds of millions of miles away, they could summon their eyeballs, but now it seems that this matter is by no means so simple. ”

Liu Yi stood in the air, staring at the smoke clouds rising from the ground, and thought in his heart: "Su Bodhi can't destroy the lifeless Zhen Buddha, he can only suppress it, it is definitely not that Su Bodhi does not have the strength to kill the lifeless Zhen Buddha, just because the two are one and the same." If the lifeless Zhen Buddha dies, Su Bodhi will have no way to live. And the Wusheng Zhen Buddha did not perform the Liuhe Gathering Trick to summon the eyeballs, but came to the Zhumo Temple in person, also because he and Su Bodhi are one and the same, Su Bodhi is the body, and the Wusheng Zhen Buddha is the inner demon. Once the Liuhe Gathering Technique is performed, the two will definitely become one, and if the Buddha does this, won't he seek his own death? In the Buddha's door, Su Bodhi is one of the ten disciples of the Buddha's throne, known as the first to solve emptiness, and to untie emptiness...... What does it mean to be empty?"

The empty word is one of the most important core teachings of Buddhism.

When Buddhism discusses the Dharma in the texts, it advocates that all Dharma is empty.

Buddhism pays attention to cause and effect, and advocates that everything in heaven and earth is born and united by fate. And the word fate is unpredictable and unpredictable, so everything is empty.

Subodhi asked the Buddha about emptiness, and the Buddha said, "Sariputta is the emptiness of all dharmas, which is neither born nor destroyed, neither impurified nor impure, neither increased nor decreased. It is emptiness, not past, not future, not present. ”

The three characters of Sariputta in these words are the name of the third disciple of the Buddha's throne, called Sariputta, who is the first in the wisdom of Buddhism.

As for the relics recorded in the Prajna Heart Sutra, which is now circulating among all walks of life, there are two meanings.

The first meaning is the honorific title of Sariputta, which is called "son."

The second meaning is that the body is incarnated after death.

In answering Subodhi's words, the Buddha first uttered the word Sariputta, which already shows that Subodhi's wisdom is not as good as Sariputta.

After listening to the Buddha**, Subodhi immediately retreated to comprehend the Dharma, and finally completed his merits.

This story is recorded in many Buddhist scriptures.

Liu Yi is familiar with Buddhist classics, so he naturally knows about Su Bodhi's inquiry about the Buddha. When Liu Yi read this paragraph, he thought that Su Bodhi had realized the true meaning of the emptiness of all laws in Buddhism, so he was praised by the Buddha as the first to solve emptiness. Now, Liu Yi's view is different from the original.

"Subodhi is known as the first to solve emptiness, and he has emptiness for all things in the world, but he can't empty himself. Su Bodhi can't even do anything about his own inner demons, and he can't turn them into degrees, how can he be regarded as the four major emptiness, how can he be regarded as the first to solve emptiness? Now, the lifeless Zhen Buddha has reappeared, and Su Bodhi's palm has also appeared underground, but Su Bodhi can still only suppress the lifeless Zhen Buddha.

As soon as he thought of this, Liu Yi couldn't help but sigh.

It seems that even the disciples of the Buddha are extremely difficult on the way to practice. Even Subodhi, who is the first to solve emptiness, has troubles.

If you can't do it but you are troubled, how can you be considered empty of the four majors?

The lifeless Zhen Buddha flew all the way from the Subodhi Dojo to the Demon Temple, and on the way, he didn't know how many ordinary people he had killed and how many living beings he had destroyed. This heinous murder has nothing to do with Subodhi.

The ground melted, rolling up waves of flames.

When the giant Buddha's hand sank deep underground, the molten slurry slowly calmed down.

In this early spring, the weather was already cold, and the molten slurry exposed to the surface was affected by the cold air, emitting bursts of black smoke, which was extremely choking.

If it weren't for the people present, they would all be cultivators, but they would have been smoked to death by the smoke containing toxins in the magma.

"Amitabha, Liu Daoyou is polite!"

Master Wufeng strode in the air, bowed to Liu Yi, and said: "The poor monk doesn't know about the birth of a Buddha. Liu Daoyou has endless good karma for my Buddhism Demon Temple, but my Demon Temple almost harmed Liu Daoyou, and I have nothing to repay in this matter, and it is all up to Liu Daoyou to deal with. ”

Su Bo asked the Buddha about emptiness, and the Buddha said, "It is emptiness, not the past, not the present, not the future." Therefore, the monks of your Demon Sect Temple think that the three scriptures of the past, the present, and the future must have been created by Subodhi Buddha?"

Liu Yi's expression was a little indifferent, and he said: "You are speculating that among these three scriptures, there is a great opportunity left by Su Bodhi, but I almost died. Now I came to the Demon Temple, but the great monk said that it was all up to me to deal with, if I said that I would destroy your Demon Temple, and the chickens and dogs would not be left, would you agree?"

A sword blade, three feet of frost, was held in Liu Yi's hand.

The blade of the sword went straight forward, pointing at Master Bladeless's forehead.

"If I don't go to hell, who will?"

Master Wufeng bowed to Liu Yi, sat down cross-legged, aimed his neck at Jian Feng, and said: "The poor monk is willing to apologize with death, but as for the lives of the monks in my temple, the poor monk can't be the master." ”

In the Demon Temple, there are thousands of monks.

Previously, Wusheng Zhen Buddha invaded the Zhumo Temple, and nearly half of the monks and nuns worshiped at the feet of Wusheng Zhen Buddha, and now Wusheng Zhen Buddha was suppressed by the Buddha's hand, and those monks and nuns who had worshiped the evil Buddha actually emitted bursts of black smoke in their bodies, and their bodies turned into skeletons, and their souls were scattered.

The deaths of these monks and nuns were not caused by the hands of the Buddha. But the lifeless Zhen Buddha had already left a golden black Buddha light in their bodies, and now that the Buddha light is gone, the lives of these people will also disappear, and no one can save them.

and thou shalt not live.

The monks who survived, but they were all determined and resolute, actually flew into the air together, bowed down behind Master Wufeng, and were willing to die under Liu Yi's sword with Master Wufeng.

Many monks and nuns, but none of them flinched and feared.

To kill, or not to kill?

The coldness on Liu Yi's face became more and more intense, and suddenly the sword edge skyrocketed, and the edge suddenly leaked out.

Hiss!

The blade of the sword tore through the air and went straight down from a height of thousands of meters, without hurting the Bladeless Master in the slightest, but slashed straight into the cooling molten slurry, tearing the ground open an abyss-like crack.

The billowing sword qi was like a river, and it went down the molten rift to the depths of the ground tens of thousands of meters below.

"Subodhi, how should this cause and effect end?"

Liu Yi drank coldly and conveyed his voice to the ground.

The matter of the Buddha without life, although it was caused by the Demon Temple, but the crime was not to death, and it was impossible for Liu Yi to kill Master Wufeng and others to vent his anger. First, Master Wufeng is also unintentional, and second, Liu Yi is by no means indiscriminate killing innocent people.

As for the four words of apologizing for the crime with death, Liu Yi didn't even think about it, he just wanted to ask for an explanation.

Unexpectedly, Master Wufeng's personality was extremely strong, and he asked for death without saying a word.

Since he can't talk to Master Wufeng, he can only let Su Bodhi talk about it himself.

Su Bodhi is a Buddha, high above, with Liu Yi's cultivation at the level of true immortals, he is not qualified to negotiate conditions with the gods and Buddhas.

But Liu Yi called Su Bodhi by his name!

Suddenly, a beam of Buddha light burst out from the crack in the ground cut by the sword blade.

In the light of the Buddha, the golden body of the Buddha statue of Su Bodhi was revealed, standing in front of Liu Yi.
