Chapter 137: Zen Machine
At the foot of Mt. Fuji.
A quiet Zen temple in the boundless forest.
This temple is not very famous, and it is rarely visited by tourists due to its distance in the sea of trees, but it has existed for a long time, and it is clearly a Japanese Zen temple, but it is clearly influenced by the Chinese garden style.
In the temple, several young monks are wrapping the bottom of the trunk of a thick cypress tree in the courtyard with a straw mat, and the straw mat is filled with withered grass between the trunk, because winter is coming, and there is occasionally deep snow here in winter, so it is necessary to protect the roots of the tree, so that these cypress trees, which are older than the temple itself, can live longer.
In the deepest part of the temple, there is an empty Zen room, in the style of pure Japanese, the interior is unusually simple, with only a low table and two Japanese-style chairs.
There was no one in the meditation room, but there was a steaming cup of tea on the low table.
The tea was left untouched.
Laugh at.
A Japanese-style sliding door was pulled open.
A young monk who was only a teenager helped an old monk who couldn't see his age to come out.
The old monk has kind eyebrows and kind eyes, his demeanor is peaceful, and his eyes contain the wisdom of seeing through life and world affairs, even if he has grown messy gray hair because he has not shaved his head for a long time, he still can't hide his indifferent temperament.
"Master, how are you doing?"
Suddenly, the voice of a young woman rang out in the empty room.
Immediately afterwards, a person appeared on the Japanese-style chair next to the teacup, presumably a woman in size, wearing a leather coat and leather pants, and her face and head were also wrapped in a leather mask, revealing only her eyes.
Her eyes were as sharp as a knife.
Neither the old monk nor the young monk showed any surprise, because she had been reporting here every day since a long time ago, and she had never stopped.
She was waiting for the old monk to come out, and today she finally waited.
"Thanks to the blessing of the sect master, I can't be reborn in bliss for the time being. The old monk smiled.
His body was weakened by the long meditative period, and he could not stand or move on his own, but he was in good spirits, and his brow was filled with a look of joy at solving a difficult problem.
The little monk helped the old monk to sit down opposite her, then left the room, went out and brought a cup of hot tea in front of the old monk, and stood aside.
"The Sect Master has been waiting for a long time, and the hospitality of the Temple is not considerate...... Change a cup of hot tea for the Sect Master. The old monk caught a glimpse of the cup of tea in front of her that was no longer steaming, and commanded the little monk.
The little monk was about to serve the cup of semi-cold tea, but she reached out and pressed the mouth of the teacup.
"No, I like herbal tea too. She said.
The old monk smiled slightly and waved his hand to the little monk, "You go down first, it's none of your business here." ”
The little monk nodded respectfully and retired.
The old monk's gaze fell on her chest, where there was a statue of the Celestial Maiden, and both he and she knew what this statue meant.
The old monk retracted his gaze and took a sip of the hot tea in front of him.
She also picked up the half-cold tea and put it to her mouth, but because she didn't take off the mask, the tea couldn't be delivered to her mouth, so she just made a symbolic appearance, put down the teacup and asked impatiently: "Master, do you have eyebrows for what I ask for?"
The old monk put down the teacup, pondered for a moment, and said: "Don't hide it from the sect master, the poor monk has been facing the wall for three years, and he has already realized the Zen machine, and the Mori Zhitian Bodhisattva should have been reincarnated as a human, and at this time he will live in the world without knowing it. ”
Her heart rolled up with monstrous waves, and she involuntarily pressed the statue of the Heavenly Maiden secretly embroidered on her chest.
This statue of the goddess is solemn, sitting on a lotus, wearing a tower on her head, bathing in the light of the Buddha, holding a swastika treasure fan in her left hand, and a pig standing behind her, but from another point of view, due to the light, the appearance of the goddess has undergone a peculiar change, and the statue of the goddess turns into an angry phase, with six arms on three sides, one of which is a pig face, and each of the six arms holds a bow, an arrow, a worry-free tree, a vajra axe, a vajra and a kiso thread.
Those who are not familiar with Buddhism and ninja allusions may not recognize this Buddha statue as the patron saint and symbol of ninjas, the Morichi Bodhisattva.
This Bodhisattva is not famous, and ordinary people in most parts of China only know Guanyin Bodhisattva, but they are very unfamiliar with this Bodhisattva, but in Tibet and Dongying, this Bodhisattva is famous.
Mori Zhi Tian Bodhisattva originated from ancient India, the word "Mori Zhi" is light, and is also known as the "Bright Heavenly Mother" in Tibet, Taoism absorbed the belief of the Mori Zhi Tian Bodhisattva, and enshrined it as "Dou Mu Yuanjun", but whether it is Mori Zhitian, Bright Heavenly Mother or Dou Mu Yuanjun, all refer to the same deity.
In Toei, both bushido and ninja people revere the Morichi Bodhisattva very much, especially the latter, who worships the Morichi Bodhisattva as a guardian deity.
The Bodhisattva of Mori Zhi Tian is known for his great supernatural powers of invisibility and freedom, and there is a scripture that says: "There is a heavenly name of Mori Zhi, and there is a great supernatural power of the law." Before the day, the sun does not see the other, but he can see the sun. No one can see, no one can know, no one can harm, no one can deceive, no one can bind, no one can debt his property, no one can punish him, no one is afraid of resentment, and he can get what he wants. ”
Generally speaking, the Morichi Bodhisattva can be invisible, even the gods of the heavenly realm can not see her, she uses the invisible form to eliminate disasters and misfortunes for all beings, for those who are protected by her, when all disasters come and evil things appear, they will have the virtue of stealth like the void, and all disasters will be dispersed.
The Buddha said to himself: This day is always before the sun and the moon, and the sun and the moon cannot be seen. Because I know this name, I am spared all troubles.
It is said that when Shakyamuni Buddha practiced the Bodhisattva Path, it was because of the practice of the Morichi Bodhisattva Dharma that he could stay away from all obstacles and disasters, so the history of this Bodhisattva may be even older than that of Shakyamuni.
After the legend of the Mori Chi Bodhisattva was introduced to Dongying, it was respected by many ninjas in the name of the god of war, and it was worshiped as a guardian god.
However, the ninjas' Five Elements Escape Technique has to use external forces to achieve visual invisibility with the help of sound, light, smoke and other props, which is inevitably inferior, and there is no comparison with the unreasonable stealth magic of the Mori Zhitian Bodhisattva.
When the sect master heard that the Mori Zhitian Bodhisattva had been reincarnated, he was so excited that his heart was surging, and the old monk still had unfinished words, silently thinking about the revelation in the Zen machine, and the two of them were relatively speechless.
After a while, she spoke, "Thank you, Master, can you please show the place of reincarnation of the Bodhisattva?"
Due to the leather mask, her voice was slightly more urn-like.
She pulled a paper map out of her leather jacket and spread it out on the table, flattening it.
The old monk recited the Buddha's name, his eyes fell on the map, carefully identified the direction, and then raised a finger to swipe over.
The suzerain expected his finger to fall on the territory of Dongying, but unfortunately it backfired, and his finger ended up in the country of the neighboring country to the west, drawing a circle.
