Chapter 85: A Long Journey

Previous Chapter

In the ninth peak of the core of the Lingxiao Sect, the disciples in the Xuanguan realm were basically cultivating all day long.

Except for cultivating wholeheartedly in an attempt to break through, there is nothing else, and I dare not divide other minds.

No matter how many people you know here, no matter how good the relationship is, if you can't break through for a long time, and then people enter the eighth peak of the core, and you drag on for a long time to break through, and as a result, you go to the non-core and even the outer peak to cultivate.

And then years, decades, and so on, we don't see each other.

In the future, even if there is still a chance to meet again, you are a low-level minor monk, and you are already a middle- and high-level great monk.

What did we talk about?

Up?

There are so many old good stories.

Even if there is, if you talk about it once, it's almost the same story, right?

And then what.

Then you continue to be your little monk, and the people continue to be the middle and high level monks of the people, and the well water does not interfere with the river water.

You can't do it if you want to.

Not all disciples understand this truth, but most of them do, and that small part, in such a big environment, either slowly understands, or even if they don't understand, they can't find anyone to play.

Therefore, the disciples of the Ninth Peak of the Core Peak, no matter how old they are, no matter how long they have been in the mountain, what they do every day is to cultivate and cultivate.

The vast majority of people actually have similar behavior patterns to Ye Xiaoye.

This is similar to how children and teenagers on Earth study all day long.

- What do you want to do if you don't study?

From the entrance realm to the opening realm, from the ninth peak of the core to the eighth peak of the core, the situation began to change.

The main reason is that the time span of the enlightenment realm is too long, and it is not uncommon to start in ten years, and then take a hundred years, or even more years.

For such a long period of time, no one can still practice wholeheartedly like in the realm of the entrance hall, and the cultivator will also go through many stages of life in the process, such as from childhood to adolescence to middle age to old age, and so on.

Here is a word about longevity.

In this world, pure ordinary people, the lifespan is about one hundred and twenty to one hundred and fifty years old.

If you are less than 100 years old, you will die.

And if you have the slightest relationship with the cultivation world, you can get some elixirs and other things to eat from time to time, and it is possible to live past two hundred years old.

That's a birthday.

That is to say, the life expectancy of ordinary people can be roughly divided into three grades, below 100, premature death, 120-150, normal, and 180-220, longevity.

And for cultivators, as long as Ning Yuan is complete, he can "live his best life".

It's about three hundred years old.

But simply Ning Yuan Dacheng, there is no way to always maintain Ning Yuan Dacheng, in his later years, as he gradually approaches his age, his cultivation will gradually decline.

If you really want to "condense the Yuan Dacheng" all the time, you have to enter the entrance realm.

A monk in the realm of the entrance, even if he can't break through further in his life, there is still no problem in keeping his body's qi and blood in the state of condensing the essence.

Therefore, excluding unexpected reasons, the lifespan of the monks in the Entrance Realm is basically 300+.

But it's only a little over three hundred, basically less than three hundred and five.

And when it comes to the enlightenment realm, it's different.

The moment you step into the opening from the entrance, no matter what kind of opening is opened, the life span of the cultivator has reached more than five hundred.

From this scale, a hundred years of cultivation is actually not too long.

But the real key problem is that when you enter the state of enlightenment, you can no longer just bury your head in meditation and practice diligently.

Over a long period of time, the body and mind of the cultivator have been constantly changing, and the changes in consciousness have been even greater, which makes the cultivator need to have a time and space to adjust in addition to concentrating on cultivation in general.

Ordinary sects or cultivators and the like may not have enough understanding of this.

Even if there is sufficient awareness, there may not be appropriate arrangements.

Then either they are too lax, and they are too lax, and they are too lax, and they are too tense, and they are tense and tense, and then they are "dead" of themselves, so that the practice loses the possibility of continuing to move forward.

Or they keep swinging between the two, or they are too loose or too tight, and they can't always find the right degree.

And then by and large, it's still half-scrapped.

This makes the timeline of the enlightenment realm even more long, and then there may be all kinds of mundane things added to the middle of the way......

Stacked together in a mess, and then the life of a cultivator is probably like this.

This is the general ecology of the middle and lower class cultivation circles.

Therefore, the enlightenment realm often has many names among those monks who are not major sects, or in word of mouth, or in book records.

For example, "Yellow Sand Realm", which means a long stretch of yellow sand, is like a desert, and you can't see the edge, and you can't walk the edge.

For example, "prosperity and withering realm" means that you have just entered the enlightenment, or you are still middle-aged, and you are already old before you get out of the enlightenment.

For example, the "realm of true delusion" means that in this realm, the practitioner's understanding of the various aspects of life through cultivation will go through complex changes, and he will always wander between the true and the false, and only then can he cross the boundary line of the true and the false, and then he can move towards the true one.

And so on and so forth.

And behind each title is the understanding and summary of the enlightenment realm by generations of cultivators.

For a sect like Lingxiao Sect, starting from the Ning Yuan Realm and going all the way to the Earth Immortal Realm, there is a rich and perfect inheritance system, which means that as long as your level is between the Ning Yuan Realm and the Earth Immortal Realm, then all the questions about cultivation can be answered in the sect.

What's more, you don't need to find answers, the sect has already prepared for you in many, many questions!

In addition to concentrating on cultivation in general, we need a certain amount of time and space to adjust our body and mind.

Therefore, in the eighth peak of the core, the arrangement of the Ling Xiao Sect is:

『Scripture Pavilion』

In it, you can borrow all kinds of books, and most of these books are related to the enlightenment realm.

There is a formal explanation of the exercises;

There is a less formal sense of practice;

There are travelogues, practices and life experiences of disciples of the Enlightenment Realm descending the mountain;

And all that.

Seminar

It is not held between three or five friends, but the sect organizes a certain number of disciples to gather together regularly or irregularly, and each person has to bring up a topic about the practice, and the person first expresses his opinion, and then everyone joins in the discussion.

『Mountain tour or banquet』

This is held between friends and acquaintances, from two or three people to a dozen or dozens of people.

The form is not informal, as you like.

......

After a cold year, Vientiane is renewed.

Ye Xiaoye's monotonous cultivation that had been buried in the eighth peak of the core for many months was finally broken.

At breakfast on this day, he received another message from the sect, "Within three days, go to the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion and read a book." ”

Well, this is a direct mission.

Ye Xiaoye smiled slightly, and didn't care about anything within three days, after dinner, he went straight to the Scripture Pavilion.

The distance is not close, and the path is not familiar, but the approximate location, Ye Xiaoye knows, out of the small courtyard, he strolled all the way, and soon saw a sign at the bend of the road, showing that the upper left is the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, and the upper right is the viewing platform.

Ye Xiaoye is naturally selected on the upper left.

On this left, there was no need to instruct, Ye Xiaoye just walked along the avenue in the mountains, bent all the way, and only walked about ten miles or so, and then entered the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion.

It's not much different from the libraries on Earth.

If you want to say the difference, it is that this scripture pavilion is very small, just a single-family three-story building, a stone building.

When Ye Xiaoye walked towards Xiaolou, a young man came out of it, holding a book in his arms, the two looked at each other, and after being slightly stunned, they both nodded to each other, and then they didn't talk or anything, so they staggered.

When you enter the door, you will find the front desk, let's call it a librarian.

Before Ye Xiaoye could speak, the middle-aged man said, "How many tricks have you opened?"

"Uh, one. Ye Xiaoye touched his head and said.

The middle-aged man smiled, without any contempt, but rather gentle, but he didn't say anything, just turned around and took out ten books from the back shelf and lined them up on the table.

"Oh, ten copies, pick one at random, and you can come back and change it after reading it. ”

Ye Xiaoye can stand in front of this table, and he didn't need time for tea to finish reading these ten books.

But he didn't.

His eyes wandered over these ten books of varying thicknesses, and after a while, Ye Xiaoye chose a copy of "The Long Way to Open the Road".

"Why did you choose this one?" the middle-aged man asked.

"Why do you ask this?" Ye Xiaoye wondered.

"Because there are very few people who choose this one. The middle-aged man said, "A disciple like you who has only opened a knack for a knack, out of a hundred, there are probably only two or three people who will choose this book for the first time." ”

After saying this, the middle-aged man looked at Ye Xiaoye.

That means I answered your question, and now it's your turn to answer me.

"I chose this one because, uh, I feel like it's very difficult to open the knot, it's been a few months, and I haven't been able to open the second knot. Ye Xiaoye touched his head again.

"A few months, hehe, a few months is not a long time. The middle-aged man smiled meaninglessly and said, "Okay, you can take it back, and when you will finish reading it, you will come back and return it." ”

"What if I watch it for a month?" Ye Xiaoye said.

"It's okay for a year. The middle-aged man said, then turned around, and quickly pulled out a book from behind the shelf on the left.

"Huh. Ye Xiaoye smiled a little stupidly, and touched his head with his hand for the third time, "Senior, goodbye! I'll go back." ”

"Welcome back. The middle-aged man said it interestingly.

Holding the book, Ye Xiaoye slowly returned like the young man he met when he came over just now.

The mountain road is wide and clean, there are about ten meters wide huge bluestone spread out one by one, the junction of the bluestone, there are some small flowers and grasses growing sporadically, just make this piece cold and hard, spread out into a background that sets off the vitality.

The little boy walked on this huge mountain road, and from a distance, it was also a piece of agility, dotted in this eternal silence.
