But I'm a Virgo + OCD, and I can't stand it. A chapter is a complete small fragment, so truncated, although the code word is convenient, but for the whole plot coherence, it really has a bad impact. So I'd rather post a chapter at 2500 words than cut it down and put it on the next chapter for the sake of saving trouble. That's why my chapters often have chapters with more than 2400+ words, or even up to 2600+ words. And in this way of writing, each chapter has its own theme, so the end leads to the theme of the next chapter, and it can't be easier to break the chapter.
