XXVII. Internet Café Challenge
Since the formation of the team, every day after school, I have gone straight to the Internet café, and I have never returned home with Lele, although I didn't say it, but I understand that Lele has been more or less angry.
In the past month, our team has played more than ten games in a row, and our teammates have finally found a tacit understanding, and everyone is getting better and better, and more and more games are naturally won. At the instigation of Liu Han, I also exchanged my shotgun for a cannon, and spent 200 yuan to buy Microsoft's I02.0 mouse and a 1030 mouse pad worth 50 oceans. With his own equipment, the whole person feels completely different, how to say that at least now it can be regarded as half a CSER.
At noon, as usual, I still didn't go home, and after class, a few of us rushed to an Internet café on South Street under the leadership of Liu Han. Liu Han said that he contacted the team of the Internet café and was going to have a face-to-face offline challenge with them at noon today.
A group of us entered the Internet café in a mighty way, Liu Han recognized the captain of the opposing team at a glance, and he hurriedly stepped forward to greet the other party. The captain warmly put his arm on Liu Han's shoulder as a gesture of friendship, and then led us straight to a small room separated by a glass wall in the depths of the Internet café.
There are 10 computers here, arranged relatively neatly in units of 5, and it is clear that this is a venue dedicated to CS competitions. There were already people sitting in front of our five computers, and when they saw us come in, they all stood up and greeted us.
After a few pleasantries, we sat down across from each other, and the map was Train.
In CS matches, winning or losing the first game is crucial for both sides, as it is directly related to the situation that follows, and the team that wins the first game will be able to maintain an overwhelming advantage in the firearms for the next two games.
We will be bandits first, and the other side will be the police.
Train is actually a very annoying map, it has extremely complex terrain, two bomb sites are hidden on abandoned train tracks, and the police spawn point is in a small house in the middle of the two bomb areas, and the bandits are on the other side.
There were three routes of attack for the bandits: a small attic on the second floor, a skirmish avenue and a small alley with a long distance. Before planting the bomb, it seems that the bandits have the advantage, and the various combinations of passages and the cooperation between the team members, the police have no ability to prevent the bandits from entering the bullet point.
But as soon as the bandits entered the bullet point, the nightmare began. With the numerous camp points around the bullet point and the huge advantage of air strikes, as long as the police have a sharpshooter, they can contain a large number of opponents. Therefore, even if the police do not destroy the enemy, as long as they can stalemate the situation and prevent the bandits from planting bombs, this game will naturally be won.
At the beginning of the first game, Liu Han decided to attack Area A from the attic first. Usually on the opposite side of the staircase, the police will arrange a sniper to guard it, but in the first game, we naturally had no such concerns, and we quickly rushed to Zone A to try to solve the problem quickly.
Area A was quiet, just as Ye Hui and I were protecting Liu Han and began to bury the bullets, the gunshots around suddenly rang out, and the police instantly appeared in all directions like ghosts. Soon, Ye Hui and I were dealt with by each other one after another.
The only bandits are left with Haozi and Lynch, and there are 5 policemen, so it is clear at a glance that there are pros and cons......
The bodies of the five bandits were displayed on the train tracks, and the guns* were scattered all over the ground, a horrific sight. I peeked at Liu Han beside me, his face was still cold as usual, and there was no change.
In the second game, Liu Han asked us to buy * and *, and don't act yet. Unexpectedly, before we could leave the place of birth, the police had already taken the lead in killing, although we resisted stubbornly, but the gap in firearms was too obvious, and we lost three games in a row in just a few minutes.
We can't afford to lose again! It's been a long time since we were abused in our debut. After the start of the fourth game, Liu Han ordered everyone to collectively break through from the trail. Generally speaking, the trail is only guarded by one policeman, and once the breakthrough is successful, the bomb can be quickly planted.
In normal times, the trail is often the place where the battle is most intense, but during the competition, it is surprisingly calm. In order to hide themselves, everyone basically walked silently, and I was at the front, flashing half of my body slightly, and I didn't see the police. Liu Han glanced at the time, and then typed at the bottom of the screen to tell us to wait another 30 seconds to charge.
Time passed slowly, and everyone waited with bated breath. Seeing that the time for the attack had come, without waiting for Liu Han to give an order, everyone had quickly rushed into the dark path like arrows from the string, and then scattered to the pre-arranged position, while Haozi carried the C4 on his back and went straight to the bullet point.
There wasn't a single policeman in the entire B district, and Haozi buried it without much effort*.
But just as Haozi picked up the AK and was about to jump off the trailer, a crisp gunshot suddenly rang out, and Haozi was shot in the head. At the same time, Liu Han also received the enemy there.
As soon as Haozi's death information appeared on the screen, Liu Han knew that the police had started to defuse the bomb, and if the other party had a bomb defusator, it would only take a few seconds to successfully defuse the bomb, which means that there is not much time left for us.
Liu Han made a quick decision, he left behind the policeman who was confronting him, and ran away. The other party immediately guessed Liu Han's thoughts, jumped over, and immediately threw out a *, he didn't want to let Liu Han run away so easily.
At this time, Lynch, Ye Hui and I had already died, but there were still 3 people on the other side. Liu Han rushed back to the bullet point with all his might, and before he had time to make adjustments, he raised his gun and shot straight away, shooting in the head. The policeman was defeated and fell to the ground regretfully.
The police behind him were about to catch up, and the other policeman was nowhere to be found. Don't care about so much, let's solve the enemy in front of you first! Liu Han quickly squatted and hid at the other end of the trailer, and as soon as he squatted, the other party entered Liu Han's shooting range, Liu Han raised his gun again and aimed at the opponent's head. At the moment when Liu Han fired, a long AWP sound was also heard in the distance. While killing the other policeman, Liu Han was also killed by the sniper.
Thankfully, there wasn't enough time left to defuse the bomb, and we won the game without any danger.
At 4:8, at the end of the first half, we struggled to get four points on the Train map, where the police had the advantage.
The second half of the game turned into a complete repetition of the first half, except that the abusive roles of the two sides were reversed. The bandits were almost powerless to fight back when the police were in a good position at the right time, 9:2, and the opponent only won two games in the second half, and it was when we started to slack off when the overall score was 12:8, and they caught up.
Friendship first, competition second, after the game, players from both sides got up and shook hands with each other.
The fierce battle for more than an hour made everyone feel exhausted, and the long sitting position made my knees feel sore. I slowly paced to the windowsill, the cool breeze blowing in my face, until then it occurred to me that we hadn't had time to have lunch since school ended.
