Chapter 932: Timely Rain!
Prior to this, the world's two largest hydraulic forging presses were in the Soviet Union, which is one of the important reasons why the Soviet Union was able to build the An-124 or even the An-225, the world's largest transport aircraft.
To manufacture large aircraft, it is inseparable from this large-tonnage forging press, especially the load-bearing members of the fuselage girder and landing gear are required for this forging press.
The fuselage girder is a major load-bearing member in the aircraft fuselage that extends from the nose to the tail, and its role and importance are similar to those of a human backbone. The processing quality and structural strength of the fuselage girder determine the carrying weight, service life and flight safety of large aircraft, which is a difficult point in the development of large aircraft.
In the last century, when the rabbit developed the Yunshi project, there was no 50,000-ton forging press necessary for processing large-scale fuselage girders in China, and only 30,000-ton forging presses could be built at that time, which could not meet the overall processing of the same level girder as the F150 aircraft.
At that time, it was impossible to use the integral forging of the girder to ensure the quality, so the 30,000-ton forging press could only be forged and assembled in sections.
Although this simplistic approach barely made the fuselage girder, it could not meet the quality standards required by the design.
The reason why the Y-10 stayed on the ground after a total of 170 hours of test flight was that the frame girder was bent and deformed due to poor quality, and the bending deformation to a certain extent would cause the plane to disintegrate in the air due to the girders being broken.
The giant die forging hydraulic press is a national treasure-level strategic equipment that symbolizes the strength of heavy industry, and there are only a handful of countries in the world that can develop it.
At present, the only countries in the world with more than 40,000 tons of die forging presses are Rabbit, Eagle Sauce, Da Mao and France.
Eagle sauce was the first to play this, in the last century around 1955 built two of the world's largest 45,000 tons of die forging hydraulic presses, has been used until now, five years ago, Eagle sauce built a 40,000 tons of die forging presses.
The Soviet Union built two 75,000-ton giant die forging hydraulic presses around 1961, and these two national treasure-level equipment later fell into the hands of Da Mao, and they are now the world's largest forging presses.
France purchased a 65,000-ton die forging hydraulic press from the Soviet Union in 1976, which is also why the headquarters of the Airbus group of companies will be located in France, and why the French Ariane rocket is the only high-thrust rocket within the European Union, with a carrying capacity of more than 10 tons, and almost all the transportation tasks of the European Space Agency's International Space Station.
When Airbus developed the A380 super large passenger aircraft, it designed two 6-wheel three-axle trolley main landing gear with a load bearing capacity of more than 590 tons, requiring a life of 60,000 landing flights, and using titanium alloy forging, with a length of 4.255 meters and a weight of 3,210 kilograms, which is currently the world's heaviest aviation titanium alloy die forging.
However, due to limited processing capacity, the titanium alloy components of the landing gear used by Airbus in Europe to manufacture the A380 large passenger aircraft still need to be sent to Damao's 75,000-ton die forging machine for processing.
Da Mao will not be soft on Airbus, and naturally he is asking for a sky-high price, which makes Airbus miserable.
A few years ago, Erzhong Group Company contacted Huaxing Group Company when developing an 80,000-ton forging press, and hoped to provide processing services for Airbus Group Company at that time.
Especially after this forging press was sent to Zhonghua Fokker Company, the Airbus Group Company came over several times to ask about the progress of this equipment.
Only when the 80,000-ton forging press of China Fokker is put into production as soon as possible, will Airbus get rid of the fate of "hanging" from a tree.
The forging press in front of you has a total height of 42 meters, the above ground part is 27 meters high, the underground part reaches 15 meters, and the total weight of the equipment reaches 20,000 tons.
In order to place this set of equipment, China Fokker Company specially drilled dozens of meters deep steel pile foundation in the ground when excavating the foundation, and these steel piles dived deep into the underground rock layer, and at the same time laid a very thick layer of reinforced concrete, in order to prevent the equipment from sinking due to excessive weight and cause the foundation to sink.
When the Machine Tool Research Institute developed this forging press in Erzhong Group, it also specially provided high-performance hydraulic cylinder sleeve alloy steel and huge high-precision CNC boring and milling machines and other equipment, which greatly accelerated the development progress of this forging press.
This equipment is also Erzhong Group Corporation, Huaxing Group Co., Ltd. joint Central South University, Yanshan University, Xi'an Heavy Machinery Research Institute and other units design and manufacture, the total investment of the project is 1.517 billion yuan, Guanghua Bank provides most of the low-interest loans, the state is also allocated more than 200 million, it took more than three years to finally develop it.
The first forging press has already completed various tests in the Erzhong Group Company, fully met the design indicators, passed the national acceptance, and broke the world record held by the former Soviet Union for more than 40 years in one fell swoop.
Subsequently, the company also stepped up production and delivered such a machine to Zhonghua Fokker Company.
Of course, the design and manufacture of this forging press is the domestic technology accumulation of decades, especially after the machine tool research institute has mastered the processing and preparation technology of ultra-high precision machine tools and high-performance alloy materials, it has accelerated the development progress of this forging press.
Because Zhonghua Fokker Company still has to design and manufacture a larger passenger aircraft, and now it is even more necessary to design and manufacture the Yun-30 transport aircraft, and now the H-20 has begun to enter the production stage of the prototype, the emergence of this forging press is simply too timely.
Eagle sauce was the first to play this in China, when Mesta Company manufactured two 45,000-ton die forging hydraulic presses for the domestic aluminum company's Cleveland plant and Lauwe's company's Grafton Forge Factory.
These two machines are the national treasure equipment of the Eagle Sauce Aviation Industry and have been used until now, but the enterprises that built these two giant machines have all closed down and gone bankrupt, and the three major heavy machinery factories in Eagle Sauce have long been wiped out.
At present, Eagle Sauce's domestic military group companies are still using the components on the two old antique forging fighters in the Cleveland factory and the Grafton Forge Factory, although Eagle Sauce has no plans to build a larger tonnage forging press, but these two forging presses can fight for decades through maintenance and updating.
Boeing's large forgings are basically handed over to the upper Salda titanium factory in Damao for processing, because of the decline of heavy industries such as aviation industry and shipbuilding industry in Damao, this factory is mainly for Boeing to do miscellaneous work, processing and exporting titanium alloy parts.
Boeing and Airbus are both rivals, and if you think about it, you know what kind of treatment Airbus will receive if it sends large forgings to this factory for processing.
After Yang Jie entered the aerospace field, he naturally attached great importance to these large-tonnage forging presses, and contributed money and equipment to help Erzhong Group Company get this set of national treasure-level forging presses.
That is to say, now the Huaxing Group Company has the equipment to manufacture all the large planes and rockets, and what the Soviet Union was able to build in the past can also be manufactured in the future.
