Chapter 124: Tip Transformation Guide (First Update, Supplement)

The pressure of studying in the third year is much heavier than in the first two years.

After all, there are several new courses, and the original courses and their content are also much more advanced and complex.

Many third-graders complained about this...... They complain about the excessive amount of classes and homework they have to spend on Quidditch and other extracurricular activities......

Jon didn't feel much pressure on that, but the heavy workload did affect the amount of time he spent in the Room of Requirement.

It wasn't until Thursday afternoon, after the first session of the ancient rune, that he hurried to the eighth floor of the castle for the first time of the semester.

When he came to the eighth floor near the Room of Requirement, he suddenly saw a group of Gryffindor students chirping on his right.

Jon quickly shifted his gaze to the painting of the troll battering Silly Barnabas across from the Room of Requirement, pretending to admire it.

Barnabas the Barmy is a "famous" wizard who made a foolish attempt to teach a troll to dance ballet, and then was smashed in the head by a tutu-clad troll in the process...... This oil painting is a restoration of that scene.

"Whew!" the troll on the painting apparently noticed Jon's presence as well, and he turned around and let out a growl at Jon.

Apparently, the troll's roar also caught the attention of others.

"Jon?" a crisp voice rang out from the group of Gryffindor students.

A short little girl ran out of the crowd of Gryffindors and ran to Jon's side.

"Go back first!" the little girl waved her hand to her classmates, "I'll wait a while!"

The corners of Jon's mouth twitched slightly, but he had to turn around and greet, "Good afternoon, Natalie!"

......

"Are you used to living at school these days?" Jon asked with a slight stammer, trying to make his tone as caring as he could.

"That's great!" Natalie said with her hands clasped to her chest and a grin, "I've never been able to eat so much delicious food or sleep in such a big bed like I've been in the past few days, and Professor McGonagall cares about me a lot......"

"Yes......" Jon suddenly remembered that the little girl in front of him was from the slums of East London.

Perhaps for her, life at Hogwarts was like heaven compared to the harsh conditions of the past.

"Are you looking at this painting?" Natalie's gaze shifted to the oil painting in front of her.

The troll in the tutu on the painting looked at another spectator - grinning and roaring at her.

The little girl, who couldn't reach it, fell back two steps in fright.

Luckily, Jon reached out in time to help her.

"Thank you!" Natalie wiped the sweat from her face, "The school portraits, stairs, and statues are so strange...... It often pops up to scare me!"

"Just get used to it!" Jon said casually, "Natalie, do you want me to take you back to the Gryffindor common room?"

"No......" The little girl quickly shook her head, and she changed the topic: "Where are you going now...... I heard that the Hufflepuff common room is in the crypt?"

Jon feigned an inadvertent glance at the wall behind him, where the entrance to the Room of Requirement was, and said slowly, "That's right, just below the castle...... I'm here to go to Professor Flitwick and ask him something......"

He made up a random reason.

"Professor Flitwick?" Natalie winked thoughtfully, "Shall I go with you...... I also have a question I want to ask him!"

Jon only felt a little big, as if he had an extra tail that he couldn't shake off......

Walking towards Professor Flitwick's office, near Sita, Natalie's mouth chattered and talked.

"Ginny Weasley told me that you've been at the top of your grade since you first entered the school!" Natalie asked, curious, "Is that so?"

"Like...... yes......" Jon mumbled.

"That's amazing...... Natalie exclaimed, "How did you do that...... I always felt like I was a little worse than those kids from wizarding families!"

"This ...... Probably because I'm more diligent......"

"Professor Sprout thinks so highly of you in her herb class!" Natalie exclaimed, "She said you were the most gifted student in herbal medicine she had ever met...... So is Professor Snape, and he's complimented you, but I can't remember when......"

is touted and praised like this, especially when the other party is a cute little girl...... Seems quite emotional?

However, Jon was not distraught by this, and still kept some sanity......

Walking just over ten yards from Professor Flitwick's office, Jon suddenly slapped his head:

"I'm sorry, Natalie......" he said with a straight face, "I suddenly remembered that I forgot my Magic Word Alphabet in the magic classroom...... I'm so sorry I missed it!"

After saying that, he hurriedly walked along the way back.

Natalie Pavlova pouted unhappily as she looked at the hurried back of the figure, and after a few moments, she also turned around and walked disappointed towards the Gryffindor common room.

......

Finally getting rid of her, Jon hurried back to the painting of the troll battering the stupid Barnabas.

Taking advantage of the fact that there was no one around, he entered the Room of Request through the wall behind him.

Familiar cottages come into view......

Jon sat down on a cushion and opened his backpack and emptied all the books inside.

One of them, somewhat shabby and unfamiliar, was thrown in a conspicuous place in front of Jon.

Jon couldn't help but frown, this was the book Zacharis Smith asked him to help return to the library, the Cutting-Edge Morphing Guide.

Curious, he picked up the book from the forbidden area and opened it gently.

I flipped to a bookmark with the letters ZS written in rough pen and ink.

And the opening position is the chapter that introduces Animagus.

Jon moved his gaze to the beginning of the chapter:

"Warning! To become an Animagus, one must possess sufficient talent in Transfiguration and Potions...... Animagus is a very dangerous form of magic, and many steps of this magic can cause serious physical or psychological problems if it fails, so be sure to try it again after filing it with the Ministry of Magic and under the guidance of the Transfiguration teacher......"

Jon gently put down the Tip Transformation Guide, seemingly lost in thought.
