Chapter Seventy-Seven: The Deer

This is a true patron saint.

It was much larger than its sluggish, lazy young iron-eater, and was much more agile and graceful in its movements.

The image of the patron saint is that of an adult deer.

However, it does not have the sharp and huge antlers of the stag, and instead of the antlers, there are two triangular ears.

So to be more precise, it's a silver deer.

The Dementor, who had just approached Astoria, fled as fast as a sheep sees a wolf...... In just a few seconds, it exited the car door and floated back into the air.

Not just this one Dementor, almost all of them were affected by this silver deer, and they all started to leave the train. In the sky, you can see countless black shadows flying away.

Jon quickly put away his wand and flashlight, and then held Astoria.

She was completely unconscious and unconscious.

Jon helped her up, and the silver deer was gone.

Then, Severus Snape, clad in black robes, barged in.

He just glanced inside the cubicle, and then said coldly, "Take her and come with me!"

Jon hurriedly carried Astoria on her back, her weight was too light to carry it on her back, and they followed Snape's steps and walked down the aisle.

The aisles were littered with suitcases of all kinds, all of which had just been caused by the dementors' forced stops.

Professor Snape waved his wand lightly, and the suitcases returned to the compartments, making way for them.

After crossing the distance of a dozen compartments towards the front of the locomotive, the train restarted.

Unable to stand still, Jon almost fell to the ground with Astoria, but an invisible force seemed to lift them up in time.

"Be careful!" Professor Snape shouted sternly, and without looking back, he continued on his way.

......

A few minutes later, they came to a compartment in the front of the car.

This compartment is almost twice the size of the others.

Like Snape's office, it's filled with all sorts of jars and bottles.

Snape waved his wand, and a hammock appeared in the open space of the cell.

Jon quickly carried Astoria over and placed her on top of the hammock.

Then, a silver flame suddenly appeared beside them. Very soft flames, without a hint of burning, only a faint hint of warmth, Jon noticed that Astoria's eyelids began to tremble slightly.

"Hart, come and help me!" Snape commanded crudely, "help me get the roots of valerian root, peppermint, and daisy." ”

Then, a cauldron appeared in front of Snape, and he had added half a bottle of glycerin to it.

Snape's herb rack looked cluttered, but the herbs were arranged in a regular manner according to their type and initials, so it didn't take Jon much time to find them.

"Grind valerian root into powder and daisy root into pieces!" Snape commanded as he raced in his hands.

Out of the corner of Jon's eye, he watched Snape's movements.

This was almost the first time Jon had seen Professor Snape make potions, and he had almost never demonstrated it in Potions class before.

And Jon now understood why Severus Snape was a well-known Potions Master throughout Europe.

He is extremely skilful and does every step of the way...... The herb peppermint, which is known for its instability, has become extremely well-behaved in his crucible.

Originally, Jon thought that he had some talent in potions and was a little complacent, but seeing it today made him realize that there was still a qualitative gap between him and the real Potions master.

Several medicinal herbs were added to the crucible one after another......

After only a quarter of an hour, Snape's potion was ready, though Jon didn't know what it was.

Astoria also gradually woke up, her face unusually pale.

"Let her drink it!" The pale cyan potion was contained in a glass bottle and floated into Jon's hand.

Jon hurriedly ran to the side of the hammock, walked through the silver flames, and then held Astoria.

"Drink!" he whispered.

Astoria nodded obediently, then frowned and drank the potion from the bottle little by little.

I only heard a violent cough -

Her pale face became rosy again.

"Professor Snape......" she whispered.

"Mrs. Greengrass wrote to inform me. Severus Snape said coldly, "Said there might be a Dementor stopping the car to check today, so she asked me to take care of you!"

Snape paused, and continued, "But I didn't expect you to be in a cubicle with your sister, Miss Greengrass!"

"I'm sorry, Professor Snape......" Astoria looked down.

"As for you, Hart!" Snape ignored her, instead turning his sharp gaze to Jon, "Dumbledore told me more than a month ago that I would have time to teach you how to use the Patronus Charm......"

"But obviously you should have learned...... I don't know who taught you, but I promise you'll be disgraced by the crappy and crippled 'Patronus' you've summoned!" said Snape sarcastically.

Jon had to bow his head obediently, too.

"Listen, Hart!" Snape shouted, "The Headmaster wants me to teach you the Patronus Charm, so you can come to my office this Saturday afternoon, understand?"

"I see, Professor!"

"So now, you guys get me out!"

Astoria had already walked out of the compartment.

Jon was about to leave, when he suddenly had an idea and turned around: "Professor, it should have been your Patronus who saved us before; it seems to be a ......"

"That's a goat!" Snape roared, "Get out!"

Then, he violently pushed Jon out of the cubicle, then slammed the door shut.
