The monk and the prince
Jin is the prince of the dynasty, but he is just a prince who is not very favored. It is said that his mother is a gentle and gentle woman, very favored by the emperor, but she is weak, but she insists on giving birth to the prince, and finally during childbirth, the fragrance disappears, so the emperor accidentally loves this prince and arranges him to be raised by a childless concubine.
Later, the concubine believed in the Buddha and moved to the temple, bringing Jin with her. Jin stayed in Anyun Monastery for ten years, from eight years old to eighteen years old, there was not a day in between him slacking off, the royal family arranged for special people to teach him, he was also very close to the master, and at the same time he also studied Buddhism with the abbot of the temple, Master Hong'an.
The first time he and the little monk met was when he was twelve years old, the abbot's senior brother, Master Tai'an, went out to look for the continuation of the incense for the temple, and when he came back, he brought back a total of five children, which were arranged under the names of the five masters of the An generation, named Guangling, Guangyun, Guangsong, Guangzhi, and Guangxu. Of the five children, only two were a little older, about eight years old, and the remaining three were basically babbling.
Let's talk about the entanglement between Jin and the little monk Guangxu, Guangxu was selected by the abbot, and everyone knows that if there is no big mistake in the future, he will be the next abbot. But Jin was not very happy, because at the age of fifteen, he was robbed of all his favor by a little monk, at that time he had not yet learned to be pampered and not surprised, in the temple, everyone was praising how smart the little monk was, and even the master began to chant, which made him feel that he had fallen out of favor, and those words were used on him before.
Many times, he went to the abbot to practice, but he didn't see the abbot, and after inquiring, he knew that the abbot was especially fond of the little monk, and personally taught him to read and write, and to learn the Dharma.
Jin was very hurt, but when he saw the legendary little monk, all the resentment was gone, the little monk seemed to be a person in the Buddhist realm, everyone could feel that different feeling, the little monk's smile seemed to be full of natural charm, making people feel like a spring breeze.
Jin fell in love with the little monk, to be precise, she wanted to be close to him, so she ran to the abbot's room every day to learn the simplest Buddhist allusions with the little monk, and time passed quickly.
In the blink of an eye, Jin reached eighteen, and the little monk was already ten years old.
Because the emperor is old, obsessed with Dandao, so he has the idea of abdication, many princes heard the sound and rose, and the court was turbulent for a while, and at this time Jin was still in Anyun Temple, until one day his master told him to let him return to the imperial capital, to assist him on the throne, in fact, Jin knew his mission when he was a child, and he had a premonition from what the master told him.
On that day, the palace's exclusive carriage came at night to bring Jin back to the palace, Jin was actually not so happy, he didn't have time to say goodbye to the little monk.
The palace was cold, and Jin stayed here, so he had to obey the master's arrangement, wait and see what happened, and finally win the favor of his father, and at the same time grasp his father's feelings for his late mother, so that he had greater hope to sit on the throne.
That year, the emperor abdicated and Jin ascended the throne, but he was already twenty-five years old, married the daughter of the prime minister's family, and was able to vigorously support him.
After the enthronement ceremony, the queen was crowned, the world was amnesty, and at the same time, show girls were recruited to rush the harem.
For so many years, Jin never went to Anyun Temple again, but not long after he ascended the throne, the concubine who had raised him died, and he was crowned as the Empress Dowager of Qi. At that funeral, he wore a dragon robe and met a young monk who was just eighteen years old, who recited sutras with the elderly abbot to overtake the soul. He sat on the altar in a good way, reciting Amitabha Buddha in his mouth.
Jin's eyes never left the little monk, but he didn't do anything.
After the funeral, the emperor issued a decree to seal Anyun Temple as the national temple, and the abbot Master Hong'an as the national teacher. The holy decree arrived, Master Hong'an was very old, and he was running around in the funeral of the Empress Dowager Qi, his expression was chaotic, and he looked like he was sitting, for the holy decree, he said that he was old, so he handed over the position of abbot to Guangxu, and the Feng Zhao was also successfully accepted by Guangxu.
More than half a month after the funeral of the Queen Mother, Master Hong'an sat in Anyun Temple, Guangxu officially took over the abbot, and Yingzhao went to the imperial city to meet the current saint.
Jin behaved very calmly, and after some gossip, he retreated left and right, and was alone with the little monk, Jin Yan: Do you still remember me?
The little monk said: The saint has a lot of connections with our temple, and of course the little monk remembers.
Jin Yan: Then I wonder if the mage is related to me?
The little monk didn't know how to answer.
And Jin has already taken refuge, imprisoned the little monk, and said in his ear: I have waited for eight years, just to be able to have you openly today, do you know my mind?
The little monk was silent when he heard this, but he stopped moving the Buddha bead with both hands and hugged Jin tightly.
Here he is Jin, not the emperor, and he is still the little monk.
