Chapter 598: The Treasure of the Town Country - Stone Drum!
Well, just look at the bottle, it's really not beautiful, Xiao Hongli, if you're not convinced, let's talk about it from an artistic point of view?
After watching the performance in the small theater, the fans were overjoyed,
"Haha, I'm sorry, I really don't think it's beautiful, it's useless for you to be arrogant!"
"Poof, the taste difference between Qianlong and his father Yongzheng is too far, and it feels like he is not biological. ”
"Yongzheng is crying and fainting in the toilet, this aesthetic thing really can't be inherited!
"The Qing Dynasty can probably still see Yongzheng's taste. ”
"Stamped Crazy Demon Qianxiaosi!"
"China's earliest barrage gentleman!"
......
But in any case, all kinds of glazed vases do show off the style of Qianlong's prosperous era, as the lines in the small theater say,
"This is the demeanor and mentality that Shengshi should have!"
Self-confidence needs strength to support, willfulness also needs capital, wanton recklessness is the exclusive right of the strong, Qianlong, who has been smooth all his life, has climbed to the subversion of power early, and dares to risk the world to make such a bottle out, itself is a declaration of strength.
It's a pity that Qianlong's mouth "the heyday of the dynasty should embrace all rivers" is more of a formal slogan, so you see who the sky bypassed, after the prosperity of Kangqian, the Qing Dynasty began to decline, until the final extinction......
And as far as we look at it now, Qianlong's prosperity is nothing more than that, and the prosperity of the Han and Tang dynasties, even if it is compared with the 18th century, when Qianlong was at a great turning point in human history, if you make a detailed comparison with the West at that time, you will find that it is indeed Qianlong's "mystery self-confidence", or excessive conceit, a bit of self-deception.
However, we spurn the "feudal autocracy" that we now spurn, the so-called "unprecedented political stability in the prosperous era of Qianlong" are all based on the cage that put the people in a cage of stricter autocratic rule, so it is not worth mentioning and so on......
Don't use narrow ethnology to criticize how the Manchus are, in fact, the sea ban began in the Ming Dynasty, right, but the Qing Dynasty did a better job, most of the time people decide their heads, history is a dark fairy tale, it always repeats and continues the same sad story.
As a descendant, how to learn experience and lessons from history is another topic, in the face of this "porcelain mother" that most people laugh at and say that they can't accept its aesthetic style, you can also think about it, the Forbidden City has so many national treasures, why push this "farmhouse" aesthetic style "porcelain mother" out?
Not only because its craftsmanship is the pinnacle, integrating the essence of porcelain in the past dynasties, but also the birth of this "porcelain mother" also reflects a kind of cultural self-confidence of people during the prosperity of the Qing Dynasty, and what we lack in contemporary times is this kind of cultural self-confidence.
We're in the midst of a prosperous time now, there's no denying it, right?
Although it is not the pinnacle of the world, it is not far behind, the gap is narrowing every day, when the Western countries have thrown out the "*****", when China has become the world's second largest economy and continues to attack the first largest economy, then can we have the courage of Qianlong,
"Lao Tzu is dazzling, how to drop?"
Perhaps behind the "self-confidence" of Qianlong's various glazed vases, it is precisely the spirit that our contemporaries lack the most?
This has to be left to the audience to think slowly for themselves.
After the "Porcelain Mother", the program ushered in the heaviest national treasure in the first episode of the program, which was known as the stone drum of "China's First Antiquity" and "China's Nine Great Towns and National Treasures".
There are ten stone drums altogether, two feet high, more than one foot in diameter, the image drum is thin on the top and the bottom is slightly round, the stone drum of ten granite materials weighs about one ton each, on each stone drum is engraved with "stone drum text", because the inscription says a lot about fishing and hunting, so it is also called "hunting".
The stone drum inscription recounts the unknown history of Qin Shi Huang before the unification, and is the earliest stone inscription poem in China, and is the ancestor of seal script. Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, a word is worth 10,000 gold, creating a miracle in the history of Chinese cultural relics.
Each artifact has its own legend behind it, and the story behind the stone drum is even more legendary, and its life is upside down.
In 627, in Beihan, Chencang Mountain, Fengxiang Prefecture, Shaanxi Province (now Shigu Mountain, Baoji City), an old shepherd man discovered 10 strange granite boulders. These huge stone bodies are shaped like drums, round and square, narrow at the top and large at the bottom, about 3 feet high, slightly convex in the middle, and have a peculiar appearance. What is puzzling is that when the soil on a large rock is removed, a large number of mysterious characters are revealed, and the penmanship is so strange that no one can read it. As a result, rumors spread and strange theories abounded. More villagers came when they heard the wind, burned incense and knelt down, shocking as a god-given artifact.
Since then, Chen Cang has suddenly become very lively. Literati and writers came to see what was going on, and to expand the words on the stone, looking for famous scholars to study. There are also large households with large sums of money to solve puzzles. But the mystery of the text has not only not been revealed, but has become miraculous through folk rumors.
More than 100 years later, the "Anshi Rebellion" broke out, and the Tang Dynasty was in turmoil in the war. Tang Suzong, who was hiding from the disaster of war in Yongcheng, heard the rumors of the stone drum, and was curious, and ordered the state officials to transport 10 strange stones down Chencang Mountain and move them to the south of Yongcheng City, which was later the south of Fengxiang County, and played with the civil and military officials stationed here.
Just a few months after Shigu was moved to Yongcheng, it suffered with the advent of war. When the rebels approached Fengxiang, the Manchu civil and military officials fled, and in order to avoid the scourge of war, the stone drum was hastily moved to the wilderness and buried, and declared "destroyed" to the outside world.
Two years after the stone drum was buried, the "Anshi Rebellion" was pacified, and the world was peaceful. The fate of Chen Cang Shigu also ushered in a turning point. In 806 A.D., the local officials visited the burial place of the stone drum and asked the famous master of the court to preside over the excavation, but the stone drum was reborn, it was already eroded, and the handwriting on the stone drum was incomplete, which attracted countless famous scholars to sigh. What's even more regrettable is that because it has been abandoned in the wilderness, one of the stone drums was inexplicably lost. This is the original stone drum that once caused a sensation in the world and often caused academic disputes in the past dynasties.
Han Yu composed "Stone Drum Song" for him: "Zhang Sheng held the stone drum text and persuaded me to try to make a stone drum song...... The old man joined the army in the right auxiliary, and measured the mortars for me. The crown bathes and tells the sacrificial wine, so much treasure. The felt wrap can be erect, and the ten drums only carry camels...... The shepherd boy knocked the horns of the fiery ox, and whoever regained his hand for the rubbing. The sun and the moon will be buried, and the west will look into the sky for six years...... The song of the stone drum stops here, and I want to stumble. It can be seen that Han Yu hopes to carry the stone drum back to the capital Chang'an with a few camels, so as to protect the precious cultural relics and facilitate research.
Han Yu did exactly that, and at that time he wrote to the imperial court for this, requesting that the stone drum be moved to the Taixue Mansion in the capital to be properly kept and re-established. But Han Yu's request was not taken seriously by the imperial court, and he could only watch the stone drum grow moss in the weeds, and let the "shepherd boy knock on the horns of the fire ox".
It was backlogged in the court for 8 years, until 814 AD, Zheng Yuqing was appointed Fengxiang Yin, a part-time national priest wine, in charge of national academic education and cultural undertakings. He happened to see the long-sealed Han Yu Concert and was deeply moved. Therefore, he re-invited the imperial court, hoping to keep the Chencang stone drum properly. As a result, the stone drum exposed to the wilderness was transferred to the local Confucian Temple, however, in the war of the five dynasties, the nine-sided stone drum was once again scattered among the people......
When the Northern Song Dynasty dominated the world and gradually exterminated the princes of one side, the country's economy and culture were restored in just a few decades and developed by leaps and bounds.
Song Renzong is a famous king of calligraphy and painting in Chinese history, and he did not hesitate to make high-ranking officials and generous promises, so that talented and virtuous people in the world searched everywhere to find the whereabouts of Chen Cang Shigu. (Does it once again confirm the law that the pursuit of cultural spirituality is always after a full meal?)
When Sima Chi, the father of Sima Guang, who was the prefect of Fengxiang at the time, heard the news, he tried his best to find the legendary 10 boulders and tried to vote for the king's favor.
After several twists and turns, Sima Chi finally brought the Chencang stone drum that had disappeared for a hundred years back to the light of day. It's a pity that there are only 9 stone drums found, and there is still no trace of the original stone drums that have been lost as early as the end of the Tang Dynasty.
The anxious Sima Chi used a clumsy trick to add to the snake, and privately sent craftsmen to collect similar stones overnight to make forgeries. Soon, he imitated a fake "original stone drum" with reference to the rubbing. This trick really made him get the praise of Renzong for his miraculous skills.
However, the well-educated Song Renzong and the famous scholars who came by order quickly identified the forged stone drum. Sima Chi was rewarded for his miraculous achievements, but he was convicted of falsehood and deception.
This is the little story of Sima Chi, Sima Guang and his son and Shi Gu performed in the small theater in the show.
The nine-sided stone drum appeared in the world, and experienced the counterfeiting turmoil, so the missing "original stone drum" immediately moved the world, and the folk believed that its value could be one enemy nine, which immediately triggered the trend of the heroes and the powerful to spend thousands of dollars to find "the original stone drum".
In 1052, after the master Xiang Chuanshi, who was born as a collector of gold and stones, arrived in Fengxiang, he found the "original stone drum" that had become a whetstone in a butcher's house, and the broken history of the stone drum was turned around, and the ten stone drums were reunited again.
But don't think that this is the end, their fate of displacement continues, and Song Huizong, who claims to be the "first bachelor in the world", is another emperor of calligraphy and painting in the Northern Song Dynasty. On the issue of treating the stone drum, he not only inherited the obsession of the former king Song Renzong, but also doted on him. In 1110 A.D., after the "original stone drum" was transported to the capital, the 10 stone drums were officially transferred to Taixue for preservation. Subsequently, he moved into the Baohe Hall to accompany him day and night.
Later, Song Huizong actually had a whim, and ordered to fill in gold between the text grooves on the 10 stone drums, and installed a gold body for it, and buried the root of the next bane.
During the Jingkang Revolution, the Jin soldiers invaded Bianliang, captured the Hui and Qin emperors, and escorted them to the Northeast Wasteland to be imprisoned. The 10-sided stone drum was regarded as a treasure by the Jin soldiers because of the gold that was filled with the drum body, and followed the plundered Huiqin Emperor to move north.
After the stone drums were transported to Yanjing, the gold people who did not know much about the culture of the Central Plains did not find their value, but simply removed the gold filled with the stone drums and discarded them in the wilderness. So far, the stone drum has been lost for the third time due to the scourge of war.
In 1234 A.D., the combined forces of the Southern Song Dynasty and the Mongols destroyed Jin, and when they broke through Yanjing, Wang Wei, the imperial historian who came with the army, found 10 stone drums hidden in the ruins by chance. Wang Wei was born in Fengxiang Yu County, and has the same root as the stone drum, which he kept in the Confucian Temple and asked someone to take care of it. In the following Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, Shigu never left Beijing.
However, the stable days of the stone drum only lasted until the 30s of the last century, after the outbreak of the Japanese war of aggression against China, the 10 stone drums continued to migrate with the national treasure of the Forbidden City, and were transported to Chongqing after a short stay in Nanjing.
After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, these stone drums were transported back to Nanjing from Chongqing. The transportation was full of dangers, and the car carrying the stone drum experienced two rollover accidents, and the 10 stone drums were almost killed again.
After the outbreak of the Liberation War, Chiang saw that the general trend had gone, and hurriedly prepared to retreat, transferring a large number of national treasures and cultural relics to Taiwan. At this time, the Chencang stone drum, which had been returned to the Forbidden City in Beijing for safekeeping, was also hastily transported to the airport. However, when it was about to take off, the pilot reported that the plane was severely overloaded and could not guarantee flight safety. After repeated discussions with the group, these 10 stone drums had to be left behind, and they were finally preserved.
It seems that there is no need to talk about the mysterious "stone drum text" on it, when you understand the history of the displacement behind the stone drum, how can you see it without crying?
The fate of the stone drum has been closely related to the suffering experienced by the Chinese nation, and the broken history it carries, as well as the unsolved mysteries shrouded in the body, make it more unique and precious in the ups and downs of history, one of the national treasures of the nine towns, worthy of its name!
Compared with the legendary small theater of the stone drum in the previous life, what moved the audience more was its story in this life, the program team invited the Liang family who escorted the stone drum when the cultural relics moved south when the Japanese army invaded China, and told the story of the three generations of the Liang family guarding the stone drum.
The origin of the names of the five brothers and sisters of the Liang family is the road map of Shigu in the process of moving south.
When he arrived at Emei, the eldest brother was born, so he was called Liang Esheng.
When I arrived in Leshan, my sister was born, and Leshan was called Jiazhou in ancient times, so it was called Liang Jiasheng.
When he arrived in Nanjing, he and his sister were born one after another, Liang Jinsheng and Liang Ningsheng.
When he finally returned to Beijing, his younger brother was born, Liang Yansheng.
In 1949, he was separated from his grandfather and brother, and only reconnected when exchanges resumed in the 80s......
What else can we say when we are lucky enough to see the stone drum again?
Sigh the legend of the stone drum in the past and present life, or are you glad that the Chinese cultural context has not been broken after hardships?
There is no need for it, when words can't describe it, we just need to come from the heart,
Rise!
Applaud!
Salute!
