Lithography continues to evolve as chip integration increases. In order to meet the higher requirements for density and integration levels of integrated circuits, photoresists for semiconductors increase the ultimate resolution by continuously shortening the exposure wavelength.

At this time, the world's chip technology level has stepped into the micro-nano level, and the wavelength of photoresist has gradually changed from ultraviolet broad spectrum to G line (436nm) and I line (365nm). At present, the photoresists mainly used in the semiconductor market include two types of photoresists: G line and I line, and the core technology of photoresist is basically monopolized by Yuben and American companies.

Photoresist not only has the characteristics of high purity requirements and complex process, but also needs the corresponding lithography machine to pair and debug with it. Under normal circumstances, a chip needs to undergo 10~50 lithography processes in the manufacturing process, due to different substrates, different resolution requirements, different etching methods, etc., different lithography processes have different specific requirements for photoresist, even if the lithography process is similar, different manufacturers will have different requirements.

There are many varieties of photoresists for different applications, and these differences are mainly achieved by adjusting the formulation of photoresists. Therefore, adjusting the formulation of photoresist to meet differentiated application needs is the core technology of photoresist manufacturers.

This and the subsequent yield rate need to be improved urgently, which needs to be completed in continuous equipment fine-tuning and continuous improvement of the process.

According to the original plan, the first step is to realize the chip production substitution of the current Little Doctor learning machine and the Overlord game machine!

At present, the sales of Xiaobo learning machine and Dabawang game machine are hot, and the number of 8-bit W65C02 processor chips required by Huari Electronics every month is about 200,000.

After the completion of the transformation of the production line of Xiangji, due to the low initial yield of the production line, the monthly chip output in the first two months fluctuated at about 240,000 pieces (8,000 wafers * 100 pieces * 30% yield), and the subsequent core output will increase with the increase of yield.

According to the plan, the yield rate of the production line of Xiangji should be increased to more than 60% within three months, to more than 80% within half a year, and to full production and more than 90% within one year.

When the yield rate is increased to 80%, every improvement in the yield rate requires a lot of investment, so after 90%, for the sake of capital cost performance, it is generally not deliberately increased at a large cost.

And the current situation, the output of the 8-bit version of the W65C02 processor in half a year is enough for Huari Electronics to use for more than 1 year.
