At that time, there was a shortage of forests and soil erosion, so only planting trees was the foundation of water, fertilizer and soil. The prospects are promising. Director Jiao went through hardships and pulled back a cart of poplar seedlings from nurseries in other counties, which were slender and long, cut into 7-inch small sections, and could raise more than 200 acres of nurseries.

Watching the seedlings in the nursery gradually grow taller, my heart is full of joy, and I am happy to be happy, and I don't leave the nursery left and right. Watering, fertilizing, plucking, weeding, and loosening the soil are all busy.

In summer, the saplings are more than one meter high, and leaf worms appear on the leaves of the village seedlings, and the leaves are curled into tubes, which seriously affects the growth of poplar.

Under the guidance of technicians, the poplar seedlings were sprayed with drugs, and the development trend of diseases and insects was quickly controlled, and the seedlings thrived.

After autumn, the nursery grows gratifyingly, rustling in the autumn wind, full of life.

In the spring of the second year, because the seedlings were small, the director refused to let them out of the nursery, cut the seedlings from the top of the soil skin, tied them into a bundle of 30, and transported them to other places at a price of 10 yuan per bundle to raise seedlings. That year, 10 acres of poplar trees were sold for more than 3,000 yuan.
