Chapter 80: A Bloody Omen

Harry and Ron then rushed to the Transfiguration class, while Evan went to the Charms class.

In just a few dozen minutes, the news of what happened in the divination class had spread throughout Hogwarts, and Evan immediately paid the price for his bad jokes.

In second-year Charms class, no one except Colin and Ginny wanted to come near him.

Professor Flitwick was on the podium explaining the Levitation Charm, while the young wizards in the audience were absent-minded, and from time to time someone threw a sneaky look at Aven, who had all heard Professor Trelawney's prophecy.

Of course, the ominous Harry in the teacup is clearly dead, and if bad luck is contagious, the next one must be Evan who also sees the ominous omen.

But then what?

All the young wizards took a breath of cold air and shrank back as much as they could.

Evan had never known that wizards were so superstitious, they had great power, but they were afraid of a black stray dog.

Ginny explained the ominous meaning to Evan and Colin, saying that her uncle Billiers had seen one and that he had died twenty-four hours later.

Judging by her expression, it seemed as if she was worried that Harry would fall down at any moment.

By the time they arrived at the Great Hall for lunch, Evan saw Harry and Ron, who were also grimacing, and Hermione was disdainful.

"Ron, rejoice, you're scaring Colin and Ginny!" Hermione pushed a plate of spice over to him, turning her head and explaining, "McGonagall just told us in class that anticipating death signs is Professor Trelawney's favorite way of welcoming new students, and she predicts the death of a student every year, but with zero accuracy. ”

"You don't understand, Hermione!" Ron muttered, scooping a spoonful of spice into his plate and said slowly, "Harry and Evan have seen the ominous, it's really, really bad!"

"I don't see anything bad about it, if those people see it ominous, then they are scared to death. Then ominous is not a bad omen, but the cause of death!" Hermione said with a sense of superiority, "Think of Trelawney's other prophecies, she actually warned Evan to be careful of spiders?!"

Ron wrinkled his nose uneasily, the thing he feared the most was spiders.

"She's right, we really should be careful with spiders. I mean, the ominousness in Harry's teacup was clear. Ron said fiercely, "Accept it, Hermione! Professor Trelawney says your aura isn't right, you just don't like what you can't do." ”

As soon as he finished speaking, Hermione slammed the arithmetic book she had on the table with such a heavy movement that minced meat and carrots flew everywhere.

"If doing well in divination meant that I had to pretend to see a spider or a sign of death in a cloud of tea leaves, then I might not have stopped taking this course!

Under the gaze of the others, she grabbed her bag and left the auditorium.

"What is she talking about?" Ron smiled uneasily, "her arithmetic divination class hasn't started yet." ”

"Hermione was just worried about me and Harry, and you don't want us to see a dog and just die, right?" said Aven, shoving the pie into his mouth.

"Of course not, but it's really, really bad!" Ron replied with a sad face.

His prophecy seems to have been verified, or rather, it was the second bad omen.

At about four o'clock in the afternoon, as soon as he came out of the history of magic classroom, Evan saw Hagrid running in front of him with Malfoy in his arms, and Malfoy had a deep, long gash on his arm, and blood flowed down his arm into the hallway, with many Slytherin students following behind.

The second-graders who had just come out of the classroom were all stunned, covering their mouths in surprise, not knowing what was happening.

It was Harry who was the harbinger of death, so why was Malfoy the one who was injured?

Word soon spreads that Malfoy is in Hagrid's class when he is attacked by a hippogriff named Buckbeak.

If you're wondering why Hippogriffs are in class, it's because it was Hagrid's first lesson in protecting magical creatures, and in order to impress everyone, he brought twelve Hippogriffs to class.

Not surprisingly, the lesson ended up being a complete failure. Although the Gryffindor students can attest that Malfoy's attack on Barcobeak was entirely self-inflicted, it still casts a bloody shadow over the already heavy atmosphere in the school.

Evan ran after them into the hospital hospital, where he saw that Madam Pomfrey had cured Malfoy in just a minute, but he was still pale, saying that his arm was hurting, and that he was screaming to tell his dad about it, and to expel Hagrid.

If it weren't for the fact that there were too many people around, Evan would definitely give him a "deadtongue throat" spell.

About five minutes later, Snape hurried over, glared at Aven fiercely, and Aven hurriedly retreated from the school hospital.

After a while, Hagrid also walked out of it with a decadent face.

"I'm afraid that's a new record, Aven!" he said dejectedly, "I don't think they've ever seen a teacher for a day." I messed everything up, and Professor Snape said I shouldn't have put Hippogriffs on the field in a single class, and he said he'd report it back to Dumbledore and the school board. ”

"It's not your fault, I just heard about it, it's all Malfoy!"

"No, I'm too aggressive. I should have finished the Flober Caterpillar or something later, and then I would take out the Hippogriff, I thought I could get the first lesson right, and it's all my fault," Hagrid pulled out a large handkerchief and wiped his eyes.

"Either way, I'm rooting for you, Hagrid!" Evan gasped, not knowing how to comfort him, "If there's any trouble, just come to me for help." ”

"Thank you, I'm feeling better!" Hagrid pulled Evan over, wrapping his arms around him so that his bones almost broke.

Then he staggered out of the castle, wiping tears from his eyes as Evan looked at his back worriedly.

He went to the Great Hall for dinner and went back to the common room, never seeing Harry, Ron, and Hermione, who didn't know what they were doing. He sat absentmindedly in front of the fire, discussing today's Charms homework with Colin.

When it was completely dark, the three of them hurried back.

They had gone to see Hagrid, and after saying goodbye to Aven, Hagrid had gone back to his cabin and drank a lot of wine, and by the time they arrived, he was lying on the floor drunk, his cheeks still covered with tears.

This wasn't the worst of all, but even worse was the fact that Hagrid received a letter from the school board stating that Lucius Malfoy had formally complained to the school board and the Ministry of Magic about the matter, and it seemed that he had made up his mind to get Hagrid expelled.
