Chapter 81: A Harbinger of Despair

It wasn't until Wednesday morning that Malfoy reappeared at the Slytherin table. He walked into the Great Hall to the cheers of the Slytherin students, his right arm wrapped in a bandage and hanging from his neck with a sling, like a hero who had survived some terrible battle.

Harry and Ron looked disdainful of him, but Malfoy himself was smug and made a defiant grimace at the two of them.

Harry turned his head to the side, trying to restrain himself as if he hadn't seen Malfoy's provocation, and he noticed that everyone around him was looking down at today's Daily Prophet.

"What are you looking at?" asked Harry curiously.

"It's Sirius Black's latest news!" Hermione whispered, shoving him a newspaper.

Harry saw that it read: Blake was seen by a Muggle somewhere not far from Hogwarts, and by the time the Ministry of Magic arrived, he had already left and was currently on the hunt.

Presumably, Sirius Black is trying to get into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Harry swallowed, Sirius Black entered Hogwarts for what, is it really the same as Mr. Weasley said, he wants to kill himself?!

The thought of being targeted by such a madman suddenly gave Harry no appetite, and what made him even more disgusting was that he had to rely on the Dementors outside the castle to protect himself.

"Oh, he's somewhere not far from here!" Ron said worriedly, "this Blake, how the hell did he escape the Dementors?"

"Maybe it's the Patronus Charm?!"

"It can't be, he doesn't have a wand, and there are two hundred Dementors out there. Hermione said quickly, "Do you know what that means?"

Seeing that Harry, Ron, and Hermione were muttering quietly, Evan did not participate in their discussion, and he now needed to think about how to control Peter Pettigrew and get in touch with Sirius Black.

These two things are easy to say, but difficult to do.

The easiest way to do this is undoubtedly to go to Dumbledore and tell him that Ron's rat spots were changed by Peter Pettigrew, and that with Dumbledore's old calculations, as long as he gets this information, he will definitely be able to understand the whole incident.

The problem is, it's the same as Tom Riddle's diary last year, and Evan doesn't know how to explain to the other party how he knew that Blob was changed by Peter Pettigrew.

It's a bad feeling to know everything, but you can't do anything.

Evan sighed, it seems that everything is still on his own, Sirius Black is not in a hurry, let's find a way to control Peter Pettigrew first, he remembers that there is a very useful potion in "Powerful Potion".

As Evan pondered, Malfoy suddenly walked over the long table, standing behind Harry, his eyes glint with malice.

"Have you seen your buddy Hagrid lately?"

No one paid any attention to him, and Harry and Ron clenched their fists in an effort to restrain themselves.

"It's pitiful, I'm afraid he won't be able to be a teacher anymore. Malfoy feigned sadness and said, "My dad is upset that I'm hurt!"

"Get out of the way before I beat you flat, Malfoy. Ron snarled.

"If I were you, I wouldn't be so impulsive, it wouldn't do you and your good buddy Hagrid any good, you'll know in a moment," Malfoy's gaze fell on the newspaper in Harry's hand and continued, "Well, Potter, do you want to single-handedly try to catch Black?"

"What does this have to do with you?"

"Of course, if I were you," Malfoy's thin lips curled into a mean smile, "I'm not going to stay in school and be a good kid, I'll look for him everywhere." ”

"What are you talking about, Malfoy?" Ron said roughly.

"Don't you know, Potter?" Malfoy's pale eyes narrowed, and he let out a low sneer, "If it were you, I would choose revenge, and I would find him myself." ”

"What the hell are you trying to say?" said Harry, exasperated.

"I'm disappointed, you might not risk your life and want those Dementors to deal with him, aren't you?"

"Malfoy, if you have anything to say, either say it or get out of the way. Ron pulled out his wand.

"Gryffindor deducts five points!" Snape said silently as he walked over and sneered, "Weasley, put away your wand, I don't want to see you spitting those disgusting slugs everywhere." ”

Ron's face flushed, and Malfoy smirked and followed Snape away.

Harry kept looking at his back, not knowing what he was thinking.

"Damn, why did Snape deduct points, it was Malfoy who came to provoke him first, saying something incomprehensible. Ron said angrily.

"You shouldn't have given him a chance, Snape had been staring at us just now, and he was waiting for you to show his flaws. Hermione whispered.

"If he wants to deduct points, he can make any excuse. Ron picked up his bag, "There are two full Potions classes this morning, I hope it doesn't get too hard." ”

In fact, third-year Potions class was almost a disaster, with Harry and Ron cutting Malfoy's potion materials for an entire lesson, and Snape threatening Neville to poison his pet unless he could craft the antidote himself.

Eventually, with Hermione's help, Neville's antidote was successful, but Snape still deducted five points from Gryffindor on the grounds that Neville's toad hadn't died.

All the Gryffindor wizards thought they were putting up with Snape to the limit, but that was clearly not the limit of what Snape could do.

Soon, everyone experienced for themselves what despair is, and this may be the third omen.

It happened in the Defence Against the Dark Arts class on the afternoon of the third year, and Professor Lupin brought everyone a boggart, a shapeshifting dark creature that would see through a person's heart and become what you fear the most.

Evan didn't know what everyone else was afraid of, but Neville's biggest fear was clearly Snape.

With Lupin's encouragement, Neville casts a spell to transform "Snape" into a comical figure: he wears a long, lace-embroidered gown, a top hat with an old carved specimen that has been moth-eaten, and a large scarlet handbag dangling in his hand.

The story spread quickly across campus.

The Gryffindor students laughed all night, and soon stopped laughing at Snape's ensuing stormy retaliation.

Snape's eyes now sparkle with menace at the mention of Professor Lupin's name, and he bullied Neville even more than ever, and Ginny secretly told Evan in Potions class the next day that she had seen Neville secretly wiping tears from his tears at noon today.

Evan was sympathetic to Neville's plight, but they were now in a state of self-preservation.

In second-year Potions class, Snape walked around, looking at every Gryffindor student eerily, looking for all sorts of reasons to deduct points.

In less than an hour, he deducted more than 50 points from everyone, and successfully made the three girls cry.

In this lesson, no one except Evan successfully completed their potion.

Snape glared at Aven, ignoring him. He sarcastically sneered at the others, and assigned so much homework that it was almost impossible to complete.

As for the poor Boggart, I heard that Snape used a spell to blow it into thousands of wisps of green smoke and completely disappeared.

Evan felt sorry for this, and he wanted to see what he feared the most.
