Chapter 140: Crook Hill and the New Password

The three of them walked out of the auditorium, and there were absolutely no crazy axemen in the foyer.

Professor Trelawney and Ron had just disappeared around the corner, Professor Trelawney headed in the direction of the basement, and Ron followed the stairs back to the Gryffindor Tower.

"We'd better hurry!" said Aven quickly, noticing that the stairs leading to the second floor were changing.

The three of them hurried forward, but still one step too slow, and by the time they arrived, the position of the stairs had changed, and Ron's footsteps were fading away. They had to take a slightly farther route, which slowed the three of them a full five minutes.

As soon as he entered the Gryffindor Tower, Evan saw a ginger figure pop out of the shadows.

It was Crookshan, with a white piece of paper in its mouth.

Seeing the three of them, Crookhill came over affectionately, purring and snoring strangely.

Hermione picked it up, looked at the piece of paper in its mouth, and said curiously, "Crookshan, where did you get this piece of paper?

Evan and Harry leaned over curiously, and saw a few letters written crookedly on the paper: Dirty mongrel dog!

"I don't understand, what does that mean?" said Harry curiously.

"This sentence seems very rude, maybe it's a prank by some student!" Hermione said with a frown, "Crookshan, don't just pick up some messy things in the future, remember?!"

Crookshank screamed, and it curled up in a ball, lazily lying in Hermione's arms.

Ai Wen didn't speak, looking at this dirty little piece of paper, and there was a strange feeling in his heart. With what he knew about Crookshan, this clever little guy was nothing like an ordinary cat, and it was impossible for him to pick up a useless note for no reason.

Dirty mongrel dog, is this really just a simple prank?

Or is it that someone deliberately wrote this sentence on paper and handed it to Crookshan, hoping that it would deliver some kind of message.

The three of them discussed for a while, and when they reached the hole in the portrait, they found Sir Cadogan drinking with two monks, several former Headmasters of Hogwarts, and his fat pony. He pushed his helmet up and toasted them with a jug of mead.

"Good afternoon, young waiters!" said Sir Cadogan in a daze, "the password?"

"Strange skins!" said Harry to Sir Cadogan.

"Wrong password, not this!" said Sir Cadogan, who immediately came to his senses, drew his outrageous sword from its sheath, brandished it violently, and cried out, "Are you going to break into this room behind me?!

"Shut up!" Harry said confusedly, "how could the password be wrong, it was still this when I left in the morning." ”

"It's just changed, and I've already notified you of the new password!"

"But we don't know! Get out of the way, we have something urgent to get into. ”

"Die hard, I won't let you in without the right password. Sir Cadogan shouted, "Draw your sword, you dogs! meet the wrath of Sir Cadogan, and I will surely overcome you, or I will die a brave death in the charge!"

Harry looked helplessly at Sir Cadogan, completely helpless in the face of this crazy fellow.

"Maybe he told Professor McGonagall the new password, and we should go back," Hermione said uncertainly.

"Wait a minute, the words on that piece of paper!" a flash of inspiration flashed through Aven's mind.

"What?!" Harry said, turning to look at him, surprised.

The phrase on the piece of paper may be the new password. Evan said to Sir Cadogan, "Dirty mongrel!"

"So do you, sir!" Cadorgan shouted, the portrait leaning forward reluctantly and slowly opening.

The common room was deserted, and there was no one there.

"It's stupid, this guy keeps changing those ridiculous passwords!" Harley climbed in first, angrily, "He's telling a cat the new password now, by means of a piece of paper, if it weren't for the fact that we happened to meet Crook Mountain."

"That note can't have been written by Sir Cadogan!" said Hermione, "he's a portrait, how can he write?!"

"If not him, who else would it be?"

"It should be Ron!" Evan squinted his eyes and analyzed, "Sir Cadogan just said it, he told us the password, there are only four people in Gryffindor at the moment, and since none of us know, then it could only be Ron." ”

"But it's so strange why Ron wrote the password on a slip of paper?!"

Hermione looked worried, she looked around, lowered her voice and whispered, "Aven, what is that guy going to do?"

"I don't know!" Evan shook his head, it was too strange indeed.

He didn't understand what Peter Pettigrew was doing this.

Why did he write the new password on a slip of paper and give it to Crookshan?

No matter how you look at it, it doesn't make any sense for Peter Pettigrew to do this, and it's even a very stupid and dangerous thing to do.

In this situation, Sirius Black was looking for him all around Hogwarts, and on Halloween he even broke into the castle to try to enter the common room, but failed because he didn't have a password. Now, Peter had scribbled around with the vital password on a slip of paper, and it was found by Crookhill, or rather, he had deliberately given it to Crookshan.

It's so strange that Peter Pettigrew can't be unaware of the relationship between Crookshank Hill and Sirius Black.

The cat scratched his Animagus form "Mouse Spotted" everywhere in the castle for half a year.

He now gave the password to Crookshank, which meant Sirius Black.

In other words, Peter wants Blake to come to the castle!

Evan suddenly had an ominous premonition, what the hell Peter Pettigrew wanted to do?! Since last night, when Ron accused Professor Lupin, everything has deviated from the original main line and developed in an unknown and unpredictable direction, and all these changes are beyond his grasp.

Evan tried to think of it as Peter Pettigrew had in mind: he had first controlled Ron and eliminated Professor Lupin, and Dumbledore was not in the castle because of Professor Lupin. Then, he took advantage of the opportunity to find a way to bring Blake into the castle.

This is obviously not normal, according to normal thinking, Peter Pettigrew is too late to hide from Blake now, how could he deliberately let Blake in.

Evan suddenly had a feeling of horror, Peter couldn't possibly know about his plan with Sirius Black, who was supposed to be in the castle tonight. By doing this now, he wanted Blake to come to the castle, to the Gryffindor common room.

He's either insane or has a new conspiracy!!
