Chapter 743: The Adventures of Pinocchio in the Robot Edition
Zhang Chu hadn't read this at all, but he was much more impressed by the movie "Artificial Intelligence".
Robots like little boys, teddy bears, and dancing boys are no different from humans in many ways.
This is a unique science fiction movie, the more you see the end, the more sad it becomes, and even the end of the transformation into a robot boy, with that never-ending dream of going home.
Spielberg's films are mostly for all ages, and "Artificial Intelligence," although a Kubrick screenplay, has evolved under his hand into a sci-fi masterpiece that is more sad than warm, and desperate than hopeful.
After many years, Zhang Chu can still remember the scene where the little robot boy wants to become a real human, and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is a classic in film history!
Now that he has decided to write this article, Zhang Chu plans to review the movie and the original book in the savior system.
The background of the story is simple, in the middle of the 21st century, science and technology have made great progress, and robotics and artificial intelligence technology have developed rapidly.
However, giving robots human emotions is the most controversial.
But there are many parents who have lost their children, and the needs of the times have given a broad sales market for robots with feelings.
So a tech company set out to solve this problem and built the first robot with feelings.
His name was David, and as the first machine to be programmed emotionally, David was a test subject for Henry, an employee of the company, and his wife.
The couple adopted David, but their own child was eventually frozen due to illness, hoping that one day there would be a cure.
David's mission to survive is to love her, and in the initial period of time, Monica went from not accepting a robot boy to loving it, pouring her love for a child into a robot.
But the good times didn't last long, and Monica and Henry's son Martin managed to recover with the help of science and technology!
The love that his parents put on the robot boy David was all sucked away, and Martin didn't want to share his parents, so he played a prank on David.
He told David that as long as he cut off his mother's hair, his mother would love him forever.
And when David appeared at Monica's bedside with scissors, it seemed that something was wrong!
Henry wanted to take David back to the company to be destroyed, but Monica couldn't bear to leave David and the teddy bear on the side of the road on the way, allowing them to escape on their own.
Abandoned by his family, the robot boy has to embark on a wandering journey, which has gone through many hardships and encountered many crises.
After escaping the robot slaughterhouse, David meets a dancing robot named Joe, who begs Joe to take him to find the blue fairy on the phone and become a real child.
But the blue fairy actually doesn't exist at all, along the way David found the robot company that produced himself, but found that there were countless of himself in the production workshop!
In a fit of rage, he smashed the robots that had not yet been activated, and he was disappointed when he fell into the sea.
And in the middle of this water, there is an abandoned amusement park, and there is a statue of the Blue Fairy not far from David.
So the little robot boy has been silently praying in front of the Blue Fairy, year after year, until the people who rule the earth are extinct.
Eventually, the aliens discovered David at the bottom of the sea and learned of his long-held wishes.
It just so happens that the teddy bear robot has a trace of Monica's hair in its belly, so she can be cloned and conjured up a family for David that he thinks about day and night, so that he can enjoy maternal love in the fantasy, even if it is only for one day!
Watching the movie again, it is still full of shock.
Spielberg frames the film with the story of a little robot coming home on a vulgar artificial intelligence theme.
Looking at this movie from different angles will have different gains, rich science fiction, deep thinking and humanistic spirit are perfectly combined here.
Of course, this is also a particularly cruel movie, full of absurdity.
The hunt for inferior robots by humans seems to be particularly cruel, and has even evolved into the same treatment as the Colosseum.
When human tyranny reaches its peak, perhaps the robots that once shivered in the Colosseum will also start a war and revolution.
People are not like people, robots are like people!
After withdrawing from the system space, Zhang Chu felt that his whole person was a little bad, this is a bloody fairy tale of human beings dancing until death with the shackles of wisdom.
"It seems that it is indeed right to choose the content of this movie to write, I don't know how the original book is. ”
After Zhang Chu stood up and moved his body briefly, he entered the system space again to check the original book of the movie.
Compared to a 130-minute movie, this is much shorter, and people who read it faster may be able to finish it in five minutes.
"Super Toys All Summer Last Year" is supposed to be just a creative framework, and it is very far from the movie script, and Kubrick fills in quite a bit of content.
In the middle, Monica and Henry do not have the child named Martin, but after adopting the robot boy David, they find that the couple has obtained the government's birth permit and can have real children.
The story ends abruptly here, and there is no plot for the rest of the movie, which means that from the beginning of David's abandonment in the woods, it is all the screenwriter who plays a role.
In other words, the plot in is just the beginning of the movie, and the real story takes place after David is abandoned!
In Zhang Chu's view, this seems to be a robotic version of Pinocchio's adventures, but the miracle still didn't happen after all.
In the fairy tale, the puppeteer eventually becomes a human child, but the robot child can only be a robot.
Brian Aldis's short story is of course wonderful, but because the plot involved is not particularly complete, Zhang Chu decided to use the plot of the movie after thinking about it.
But the original book is also very useful, and this innovative literary technique, moving plot and irresistible inner spirit of the characters are something that Zhang Chu can learn from!
He had never written science fiction before, and he didn't know what kind of style science fiction should use.
So Brian Aldis's original book gave him guidance in a certain direction, so that he could reduce the chance to try.
So after dozens of days of writing "Norwegian Wood", Zhang Chu began to create on the document again!
[Mrs. Winston's garden is always summer, and the lovely almond trees are always in full bloom.
Monica Winston plucks an orange rose and hands it to David.
"Is it cute?" she asked.
David looked up at her, not saying a word, just smiling. He snatched the flowers and ran away across the lawn......]
The familiar sound of tapping on the keyboard sounded in the study, and Zhang Chu thought as he wrote, but the speed couldn't get up.
