Materialists are a group of ideas that hold a monistic and dualistic position, and are in the initial stage of human understanding of the world, so materialists do not have such complex ideological concepts, and only move between the unity and dualism, that is, the monism and dualism in philosophical theory.
In addition to believing that the world is a unified whole of matter, materialists also believe that the world is the original existence of matter. In a word, the material world is a whole in a reciprocating cycle, which is monism.
Philosophical theories hold that on the basis of monism, there is a material foundation and a spiritual world, and the material foundation and the spiritual world are two totalities that exist in opposition to each other. The Chinese summarized the diversity of the material structure with the five elements of western gold, eastern wood, southern fire, northern water, and central earth, which shows the wisdom of the Chinese. Objective thinking only arises in triadism, because if you look at the world from three points and look at problems from the standpoint of a third person, you are not a materialist, as long as you look at the problem from the standpoint of a third person, the thought you produce is an objective idealist standpoint, because if you look at the problem from the standpoint of a third person, you must look at the problem of a third party from your own consciousness, and the will must exist before things, and you must be the spirit of idealism. This is the truth of the facts, which is not swayed by the idea of consciousness.
Therefore, the triadism is the basis of idealism, and the five elements theory is not the whole world of idealism, and the theoretical framework of the five elements theory is materialism, because when the five pyramids stand on the surface of the object, the fulcrum of the five pyramids is not governed by objective existence, and is completely the first satisfaction of the material conditions, and the first condition of the five elements theory is the first intervention of the material conditions of the five elements, and without the prerequisites of the five substances, it is not the five elements theory, so the five elements theory is the theory of "absolute matter".
Therefore, the Five Elements Theory is the superstructure of dualism, and the Five Elements Theory is the sublimation of dualism, which is equivalent to the Five Elements Theory is the superstructure of materialism and the metaphysics of the spirit of materialism.
Since the Five Elements Theory is the metaphysics of materialism, it is necessary for us to have a comprehensive understanding of the Five Elements Theory.
The Five Elements Theory was produced in the Book of Changes, formed in the Spring and Autumn Period, and the real theoretical system was formed in the middle and late Han Dynasty. The constituent elements of the Five Elements Theory are that the gold in the west, the wood in the east, the fire in the south, the water in the north, and the central earth, in which the gold and wood, the wood and the earth, the water and the water, the water and the fire, and the fire and the gold, and in turn the gold gives birth to water, the water gives birth to wood, the wood gives birth to fire, the fire gives birth to the earth, and the earth gives birth to gold, and so on and so on.

This forms a cyclic mechanism of checks and balances, which is the theoretical knowledge that every materialist should master, which illustrates a truth, that is, the supervision mechanism can not be a mechanism of direct intervention, because direct intervention is bound to weaken the power of the supervised party and hit the enthusiasm of the supervised, but the mechanism of checks and balances avoids this situation, because the mechanism of checks and balances is a mechanism of supervision and balance on the basis of self-restraint, such as Jinkemu, there is fire between Jinkemu, and fire also has the power of supervision and balance。 This tells us an important truth, that is, when you supervise and restrain others, there is also a mechanism behind you to supervise you, and supervision is mutual, one cycle after another, and the cycle repeats itself, rolling development, so that no one side will go beyond the boundaries of the system and become an unsupervised person.
This is the result of the sublimation of dualism to the theory of five elements, thus solving the defect that dualism is prone to blind impulse, making up for the shortcomings of dualism that is not left or right, and also providing a theoretical basis for materialism to enter a new height.
The Theory of the Five Elements tells us that the space for self-development of the material world is divided into four stages, namely, the intuitive stage, the reflective stage, the dialectical stage, and the "absolute matter" stage. Thinking methods, i.e., intuitive thinking, reverse thinking, dialectical thinking, to absolute thinking.
When materialism is sublimated to the theory of the five elements, materialists enter the stage of "absolute thinking", forming a high degree of unity between existence and thinking, that is, the interface of "the unity of heaven and man" in traditional Chinese science.
