Don't pretend to try!

Short-lived efforts are pseudo-efforts.

I met an old brother at work, in his forties, an interesting person.
He worked as an e-commerce leader in a first-line portal, and later came out to work alone, and experienced two more entrepreneurships. Whether he is a professional manager or a business owner, he maintains the habit of working more than 100 hours a week.
I drank with him once, and found an interesting thing: in such a high-intensity working state, he never felt "pain, uncomfortable, and living like years". The road to entrepreneurship has turned a thousand times, and difficulties and setbacks are commonplace, but his vision has not dimmed. He believes that "life is made up of happy and unhappy".
My brother's career is not small. But he has one trait that particularly caught my attention: trying to be normal.
This trait can be seen in many of the big bulls I know. You see them:
On the morning of the second day of the Lunar New Year, sit at the table and write a plan;
After the annual meeting, return to the office to change the contract;
On the high-speed train, at the airport, I used my mobile phone to write manuscripts and reply to emails.
They won't feel how great the above is, they won't be moved by their "staying up late once", and they won't post these to their circle of friends and write "I'm also quite hard" next to them.
These efforts do not require psychological construction, self-persuasion, or willpower drive. These efforts are subconscious spontaneous behaviors, habitual actions of muscle memory.
From my point of view, these little bits and pieces of effort, which no one pays attention to, are real efforts.
Normalized efforts are real efforts.

The opposite of normalized efforts is intermittent efforts.
You've got a gym card, and you're determined to reinvent your body and your life. Started on January 1 and expired on December 31, with only two trips in between.
You've bought a vocabulary book for English 6, taken up a seat in the library, and you're ambitious to do it. In the end, in my head, I didn't have anything left except for abandoning.
You work 9 to 5, you live in a mess. You feel bored and don't see any hope for life. You decide to come home from work every day and dedicate two hours to recharge and study...... The moment I went home, I was enchanted, and I was lazy: Lingyun Zhuangzhi rolled aside, turned on the TV, put on the tablet, and nested comfortably in the sofa.
Your life is very much like that sixth-grade word book: the first part of the book has been read countless times, and the corners are crumpled, but the rest of the book is as new as ever, and rarely touched.
It may seem like a trivial matter, but it is a big thing that makes or fails. These details reflect the attributes of hard work. Normalization of efforts is the watershed of whether it is awesome or not, and each extends out of a completely different trajectory.
Most people just wander between blood and depravity: for a while, they rush and fight, and they are moved to tears, and for a while, they are lazy and indulgent, like the walking dead.
I believe that everyone has worked hard: they have all had times when their blood was boiling and they swore to be ruthless, and they have all had the experience of forging ahead and producing strongly. However, the distinction between mediocrity and excellence is that the efforts of mediocrity are fragmented, unsystematic, stop-and-go, and intermittent.
We sometimes think, "I've tried all my might, why haven't I gotten lucky?" In fact, effort is not the focus, normalization is the key.
Short-lived efforts are pseudo-efforts.

When I was in high school, my relationship with my table was similar to that of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
He is the person who frightens me the most: after the final exams in the afternoon, he goes to self-study in silence in the evening - my competition is right, and I don't even let people rest for half a day. My heart is going to break.
The terrible thing is that he is breezy and calm, and his face is as heavy as water. Everything happens so naturally that there is no need for self-persuasion or psychological construction...... What can I do? I'm desperate.
People who normalize their efforts are the most terrible: for these people, effort is not a job that needs to be assigned, but something that happens naturally. Regardless of whether they like it or dislike, whether they are in good or bad shape, they can enter the role at any time and find feeling and happiness in the process.
The biggest problem for ordinary people: work depends on the mood. If you are not in good condition and your health is slightly ill, you will not work? is so delicate, where is the appearance of success. Do you need psychological construction to play Glory of Kings and brush WeChat Taobao, and do you need to be in a good state?
There is a black saying in the circle: Miss can't pick up customers only when she has **, and the author can't write when she has inspiration.
It's a bit rough, but this reason.

SF Express has made great progress over the years, and its momentum is like a rainbow, which is not unrelated to the professional habits of its boss Wang Wei: after 20 years of entrepreneurship, it is too normal to work 14 hours a day. Wang is a person with a great sense of crisis, and if there is no reform and innovation for three months, he will feel that he is in crisis.
My friend interviewed several game companies in Guangzhou, and they all required them to work six days a week, 9 to 9 every day, and this is the norm in the Guangzhou industry. You think you're working hard, but in the eyes of others, it's just a basic job. Guangdong's game is so good, and the bonuses are so much, it has its basic logic. It is said that diligence can make up for clumsiness, not to mention that people are "clumsy"?
My college classmates work in Jingwei China. He has a brilliant resume and outstanding ability, high emotional intelligence, sharp and transparent. An Yi is not in his dictionary: "In addition to eating, drinking, and Lazar, warp and weft are the whole of my life"...... After looking at his state, I can somewhat understand the awesomeness of Jingwei.
I'm not a fan of "work and death", and I hate "to succeed, go crazy first" and the like. In my opinion, any act of overdrawing your body to work is unwise and unworthy......
But the reality is that for most entrepreneurs, it is difficult to achieve success without going through 5 to 8 years of 7ร12 hours a week of entrepreneurial struggle, and a grassroots party wants to succeed in Beijing, and 60 hours of work per week is standard.
A 5ร8-hour schedule is far from enough to support you in getting ahead. You have a mediocre family background, an average IQ, and you just want to succeed if you just play around and do it in a good way, why do you want to succeed? I don't think you're the one lucky person in a million. Just worked two extra shifts, and I felt that the good feeling was bursting, and the world was in hand, such a person was destined to have no future.
Working hours are the appearance, and its essence is to normalize the effort. It doesn't guarantee your success, it's just the basics. It requires perseverance, it takes years and days, it takes continuous output, and it requires you to have rock-solid patience.
How much patience is worthy of great ambition. No problem.

These are impetuous times. In this day and age, the argument that efforts are useless has become very popular.
We say, "The destiny of man depends not only on individual efforts, but also on the course of history." That being said, the meaning of effort cannot be erased.
Whether it is useless to work hard or to solidify the class, most of the time, it is an excuse for those who do not work hard. If a person has not even exhausted his strength, what methods, ideals and life can he talk about?
In my formula: achievement = talentร luck ร hard work. Among them, only effort is the only thing we can control.
Of course, hard work is useful, ask yourself, is 12 hours more productive than 8 hours? If not, then you are too weak, don't toss, find a place to retire.
The efforts here are not a day or two, not a month or two, and it may even take a year or two to see the clues. It's a pity that most people choose to give up before the rewards come. One or two strokes of hard work will pay off? How can there be such a good thing. It takes 10 months to give birth.
We always think that we give enough and get too little. In fact, it is still not enough to pay: in general, it is what you deserve to get by discounting your pay. Heaven and earth are unkind to all things as dogs, which is in line with the laws of the world.
Consistent and stable output is very important: when taken apart, it is just a small thing, and in the long run, it is the distance between heaven and earth. This is what it means to work towards normalcy:
When the factor of hard work is integrated into your blood, when hard work is not a requirement for you at all, believe me, you will see a new world, a new self.
