Chapter 21: To Hogsmeade

Maybe Luna's words worked, maybe Aven's mindset changed, and after breakfast, things started to look better.

Harry returned the parchment, and he agreed to publish his mother's article in the newspaper, and although it was lighthearted, Evan still noticed that the parchment was full of tears, and the last night must have been very difficult for him.

But Gryffindor's little lion never lacked the courage to face difficulties.

Harry recovered quickly, and he was very grateful to Evan for letting him know what had happened on the day his parents died. Evan sent him Bathilda's reply, and Harry solemnly put it away.

After two herbal lessons, Evan followed the first-year students to the castle for a flying lesson.

Ever since he had been exposed to broomsticks at the Weasleys over the summer, Evan had discovered that he had a strong fear of heights, and after he explained the situation to Mrs. Hooch, he was allowed to stand aside and watch without flying.

This frustrated the Slytherin freshmen, who, in accordance with the tradition of both houses, had planned to find an opportunity to teach Evan a lesson in this class.

Now that they don't have a chance, they set their sights on the other Gryffindor freshmen, with the skinny Colin being the focus of care, but with the excellent performance of Aven's roommate Vicky Frobischer, they don't take much advantage.

Everyone went on a rampage on broomsticks, and the lesson ended in a chaotic farce, with the exception of Aven, the Gryffindor and Slytherin freshmen were severely reprimanded by Madame Hooch, each deducting five points.

Seeing Vicky's flying talent, Evan thought he could recommend him to the Gryffindor Quidditch team, this guy would definitely make a good goalkeeper, if he didn't care so much about his appearance.

However, he soon ran out of energy to think about these things, and as the first issue of Hogwarts Wizardry drew nearer, Hermione became more and more unveiled.

Now, for the rest of Gryffindor, she has completely replaced Snape as the most terrifying person, and this is something that Evan feels the most.

For the next few days, he spent almost all of his time in the library under Hermione's supervision, and the two of them reviewed and revised all the manuscripts over and over again, so much so that he could only finish his class assignments after ten o'clock in the evening.

Similarly, Harry and Ron complained that Hermione didn't lend them her homework, but they obediently shut their mouths at the latter's glare.

Compared to Aven, they were so lucky that they only needed to finish an article about Hogwarts Quidditch.

Everyone was busy preparing the manuscript, but Hermione was still not satisfied, and the section on magical academic communication was the one she complained about the most.

"Aven, we've only received two submissions so far. Hermione pulled out two long pieces of parchment, "One is Percy's "The Crucible's Current Situation and History," and the other is Ravenclaw Luna Lovegood's "How to Find the Snorkel." ”

Crucible or scimitar-horned snorer, Evan couldn't tell if it was worse, or both.

"If there's no other option, let's go to Luna's article first. "Her father runs a magazine called "Singing Contrarians," which specializes in this kind of article, and I heard that the sales are good, and many people probably like to read this kind of thing. ”

"Oh, yes?!" Hermione's voice was full of questions.

"Maybe, yes!" Evan sighed as he looked at the roughly compiled Hogwarts Wizardry next to him, and in his opinion, this thing was not much better than "Singing Back".

Not quite as originally thought, the quality of the manuscript was too low.

The first three articles provide interesting news about Hogwarts during the week, but due to the source of the press release, most of them are related to Gryffindor.

The fact that Aven, Harry, and Ron flew to school in a meeting was the headline, and the things related to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff took up only a small part. As for Slytherin, apart from the fact that Malfoy came over a few times on his own initiative to provoke him, there was little other information.

Next, the comments section that followed, all of which were written by Hermione, were full of various legal terms and didactic tones, which took up five pages, and Evan was not sure if anyone would be able to read them.

Not surprisingly, these articles should be skimmed by most of the little wizards.

As for the section that Fred and George are in charge of, there are articles about the daily rules of the Hogwarts staircase, as well as the common secret passages, which can be somewhat helpful to new students, and should attract some readers.

However, the twins must have kept a hand, and at least relying on these, it is impossible to avoid Filch, who is also familiar with the secret passage.

Ginny and Hagrid's introduction to magical creatures, and Harry and Ron's introduction to Quidditch, are in the middle of the story, and in Aven's opinion, they still haven't found an attractive highlight. Moreover, they almost all copy the original text in the book, and if they have time to read these things, they might as well go to the library and read the books.

As for the academic exchange section, the decision to publish Luna's "How to Find the Snorer" was a disaster.

"In this way, the story I wrote about Harry's mother Lily is the highlight of this issue, and it can be highlighted on the homepage. Evan flipped the newspaper in his hand to the next one, and then covered his forehead weakly, and the dozen or so newspapers behind him were full of Lockhart's photos.

Lockhart is in class, Lockhart is grading homework, Lockhart is eating, Lockhart is waving his wand, Lockhart is helping other professors, Lockhart is there

Lockhart's sparkling smile was everywhere, and Evan was dizzy.

Behind the photograph is Hermione's story about Lockhart's school, and even the most perfect and discerning admirer can't find a single loophole in it, and the articles are almost unassailable.

In Hermione's portrayal, Lockhart was even greater than Dumbledore.

This was followed by Lockhart's never-before-released novels, and since Lockhart himself deliberately slipped out of class one day, girls have come to Evan every day, hoping to get a sneak peek at the content of these novels from him.

Although he was very unwilling, Evan had to admit that the success of the first issue of "Hogwarts Wizardry and Wizardry" depended entirely on Lockhart's personal charm.

"That's pretty much it, everyone has done their best!"

Evan put down the sample magazine, turned to Hermione, and said, "I'm going to go to Hogsmeade on Saturday and talk to the merchants there, maybe they'll be willing to put an ad in the newspaper." ”

"Hogsmeade, the only remaining pure wizarding village in all of England, but the school rules that only students in the third year and above are allowed to go there on certain Saturdays. Hermione stared at Aven, her tone full of seriousness, "Also, it must be signed by a guardian." ”

"Don't do that, Hermione!" Evan unconsciously flinched back, "I got a little help from Fred and George, there is a secret passage in the castle that no one knows about all the way to Hogsmeade. ”

"Secret Passage?!" Hermione shook her head, "If you get caught, you'll be expelled." ”

"As long as you don't say it, no one will find out. "And we do need advertising and sponsorship, otherwise we don't have enough money to get the next issue of the paper, you know, the ink and paper are not cheap." ”

"But"

"Don't worry, Hermione!" Evan laughed, "I remember Saturday was the first training day for the House Quidditch team, and I had a place for me, and if I was fast, I would have had time to get back and cheer on Harry!"
